Mahi and Rohit tried to ask Virat what had happened but he was not responding to them. Everyone was worried now. Mahi cupped his cheeks to get his attention. When Mahi saw Virat's eyes .. there was nothing in it .. no emotions .. they were blank.

Mahi still tried again and asked softly : "Cheeku kiddo apne Bhai ko nahi batayega .. kya hua hai"

Virat just said without emotion : "I am feeling sleepy .. I want to rest"

Rohit insisted: "But Vi"

Virat just interrupted and said : "Please" .. He requested because he was not ready to confront anyone. And how could he tell anyone that his own family was not believing him. How can anyone explain that ?

Mahi signaled Rohit to not force him. Mahi gave him his tablets and helped him lay down properly. Everyone left the room giving him space. Virat just lied down staring at the pic in his mobile of his father. He just cried himself to sleep looking at that pic.

Everyone was in the hall after leaving Virat in the room. They sat in silence for some time.

Rohit suddenly asked : "Bhai Hume Vi ko akele nahi rehne dena chahiye tha"

Mahi : "I know Ro we will go after some time .. let him be for sometime .. u saw how he requested.. we could not deny that right ?"

Yuvi : "But hua kya .. Ro tu pehle uske sath tha na tab was he okay ?"

Rohit : "Ha bhai matlab he was okay .. he was a bit upset about the team and we were discussing that but he didn't seemed this vulnerable when we were talking"

Mahi : "When we left the room .. Virat's brother called him .. but what happened after that" (Mahi assumed that conversation between Virat and his brother would have been normal)

Jammy bhai : We will be clueless like this till Virat tells us anything

Rohit worriedly with moist eyes : But bhai wo kuch bol hi toh nahi raha ..

Jammy bhai hugged him sideways. Dada said : "Ro kiddo give him some time .."

Rohit said again : "Bhai chale kya Vi ke paas plz .. Mujhe tension ho rahi hai"

Mahi knew Rohit was not gonna wait more so he told everyone to go and sleep. He and Rohit went to Virat's room. They saw Virat slept holding his phone to his chest and tear marks on his face.

Rohit slowly took the phone and saw it was his father's pic. He showed it to Mahi. Mahi felt so sad seeing his Cheeku like this. He made this sacrifice for him and that sacrifice is breaking him bit by bit.

They slept beside him. Virat didn't get any nightmares because of the medications.

Next morning Mahi woke up first and got freshen up. Mahi sat beside Virat waiting him to wake up. Rohit also woke up. After some time Virat woke up.

Mahi ever so lovingly greeted him with a hug : "Good morning Cheeku"

Virat just nodded and went in the bathroom. He just stood there splashing cold water on his face remembering the accusations of his brother. He just slumped down the wall crying not able to believe it.

Mahi was worried as he didn't come out. He knocked the door of the bathroom and said : "Cheeku r u done .. u need to have breakfast and take medicines"

Mahi didn't get any response and now as he leaned to the door he could hear sobs coming from the other side.

Mahi got worried : "Cheeku bacha are u okay ? Please darwaza khol please .."

Rohit came there and saw Mahi requesting Virat to open the door. Mahi saw him and asked in low voice : "Do u have spare key of this ?" .. Rohit nodded in no.

Mahi tried again as he listened sobs getting increased : "Cheeku see I am here .. Ro's here .. please open the door bacha"

Dada, Yuvi everyone came there as they didn't arrive for breakfast. They saw Mahi and Rohit extremely worried knocking the door.

Rohit got tensed as Virat's health will deteriorate more so he tried something which always works. He moved closer to the door : "Vi .. please open the door. Agar tune Abhi darwaza nahi open kiya toh I will think u never consider me as ur best friend.. I will leave from here"

They instantly heard the door click open. Virat standing there with red and puffy eyes because of crying so much. Rohit hugged Virat tightly. Virat asked him slowly: "U will not leave me na" .. Rohit replied : "Never".

Mahi looked at them with pure love. He helped Virat onto the bed. Yuvi and Sonu brought breakfast for him and everyone. They all had breakfast in the room only. Mahi fed Virat but he didn't eat much. Yuvi tried to cheer up Virat but it was not working.

As soon as the breakfast was over they sat in silence. Mahi softly asked : "Cheeku Kya baat hai .. please Mujhe Bata .. tu mujhe apna bhai kehta hai na .. please Cheeku .. tell me kya hua hai ?"

Mahi tried again : "Kisi ne kuch bola tujhe .. Ha ? Cheeku tu batayega nahi toh kaise samjhega bacha plz ... u promised me that u would share everything with me if u don't want me to feel the guilt of this .. please Cheeku"

Rohit : "Please Vi tell us .. it's hurting to see u like this .. please bata Vi .. hum log hai tere sath .. kahi nahi ja rahe .."

Virat just crashed into Mahi's arms crying hysterically. The room was echoed with the sobs of Virat. Mahi rubbed his back and tried to calm him down. Everyone got tears in their eyes seeing their happy Virat like this.
