Rohit came inside the room and arranged food for Mahi and him. He saw Virat looking at Mahi for some answer it seemed.

"Why would u think that I don't love you Cheeku ?"

Mahi asked not understanding why that question arises on his mind.

"Ummm whatever I said because of that !!"

Virat said nervously.

"Cheeku listen to me, there is nothing u say to me that will lessen my love for you !! I could not be there for u earlier but I am here now okay !!" Mahi said softly assuring him.

"Ok" said Virat not knowing what to say more.

"Did u not feel bad or upset when I said that I didn't miss you as Rohit did ?"

Virat asked in a low voice not sure what he will answer.

Rohit came and sat beside Virat as he could see him nervous and worried.

"Honestly I did feel upset hearing that ... but I get and understand ur situation and why u felt that!"

Mahi said softly.

"Why ?" Virat asked like a child as he himself didn't knew why he felt that.

"Cheeku when Ro faced all that ... u were determined to make him okay and be with ur family ! Right ?"

Mahi asked to which Virat nodded.

"U didn't feel my absence because I had hurt u badly ... I was the last person from whom u expected that ... what I did to you guys !!!

And then u had Ro to take care of ... we all know when it comes to Ro .. nothing matters to you other than him"

Mahi explained to him softly assuring him it's not his fault .. that it was okay to feel all this.

"But when we came back here and when u apologised to me on the terrace ... I did feel that I needed u back then !"

Virat said remembering that.

"I know ... I could see and feel ur anger through ur words ... I know u both loved me but ur anger was justified" Mahi said to both of them.

"So u both never bring in ur mind that I don't love u okay .... I love u both the most !!" Mahi said lovingly cupping both of their cheeks to which Virat and Rohit just hugged him tightly.

"Cheeku now take some rest !!" Said Mahi breaking the hug.

"Yes u take rest ... while we eat dinner" said Rohit.

"But u both sit here only and talk to me" said Virat in return.

They both sat near him and started having their dinner with Mahi occasionally feeding Rohit.

"Acha tell me Vi ... that day in lift also u felt uneasy right! Why didn't u tell me then ?" Asked Rohit remembering that.

"I didn't understand at that time ... I thought it's just due to lift" said Virat.

"U know na u are a complete idiot" said Rohit.

"And u are my friend so it makes u a idiot too" said Virat back.

"Now I am stuck with u for life toh kya kar sakte hai" said Rohit.

"Love u too Ro" said Virat closing his eyes.

Mahi smiled at their banter which little bit seemed like old times.

"Are u sleeping ?" Rohit asked seeing him uncomfortable.

"One of u has to sit beside me then only I can sleep Na" said Virat wanting both of them close to him.

Both of them got up once they were done. Mahi sat beside him while Rohit was going to meet the doctor.

"Where are u going ?" Virat asked seeing Rohit leaving the room.

"I am just checking with doctor.. will come back in 5 mins" said Rohit.

"Don't forget to take ur medicines" said Virat laying his head on Mahi's lap closing his eyes.

Rohit smiled at his care even when he is laying here in hospital bed. He left the room to check with Doctor.

"Cheeku, headache toh nahi hai na" Mahi asked softly caressing his forehead.

"No but it feels heavy" said Virat feeling uneasy due to that.

Outside the room ~

Rohit saw Aman and Jassi sitting outside. He felt so blessed to have these two by his side.

"Bhai, Virat bhai thik hai na" Jassi asked getting up.

"He is okay Kiddo." Said Rohit softly.

"U both should go home" said Rohit to which they both nodded in no.

"Listen to me .. Aman u have to convince Rits n Anu calmly and bring them here in morning because we can't hide from them .. and we can't stress Vi too. U and Jassi can only convince them calmly. So now go and take some rest ! Come back in morning" said Rohit making them understand.

They both nodded at that and left from there.

"Cheeku u know u don't have to stress about everything alone" said Mahi softly.

"Hmm" said Virat not knowing what to say. He felt so emotional as Mahi was caressing his head like old times .. how much he needed that support when Ro was in hospital.

Rohit came back after meeting doctor and asking him about Virat's health.

Virat hugged Mahi by his waist and buried his face. Tears made way through his eyes.

"Cheeku bacha kya hua" asked Mahi listening to his sobs.

"U left me alone bhai ... I was so alone !! Ro didn't get up for a week ... u know how scary that was ... I thought I lost him too ... every single moment felt like dying ... looking at Sammy n Rits ... I was so scared ... I needed someone to tell me that it's gonna be okay ... Ro is not gonna leave me ... but no one was there!!"

Mahi and Rohit both got emotional hearing that.

"I am so sorry Cheeku ... I was not there with you ! But I am here now and Ro is too ! No one is leaving u" said Mahi softly caressing his hair.

Virat slept due to exhaustion and tiredness.

"Don't worry bhai ... everything is gonna be okay soon!" Said Rohit seeing Mahi with moist eyes looking at Virat.

"Yes." Replied Mahi.

"Get some sleep Ro, you should also take proper rest!" Said Mahi softly in concern.

Next morning ~

Mahi and Rohit woke up first and got freshen up. Virat was still sleeping.

Anushka and Ritika had arrived in the room. Rohit and Mahi saw them staring Virat's sleeping figure worriedly.

Ritika and Anushka smacked Rohit's arm one by one.

"What are u both doing ?" Said Rohit annoyed by the smack.

"Didn't u have brain to tell us yesterday that Vi is not well and is admitted here" said Rits.

"Rits Vi didn't want u both to be tensed ... he still doesn't know that u both know and u are here .. and I had to agree because I didn't want to him too be stressed about anything"

Rohit said rubbing his arm.

Before they could say anything back one by one whole ict had arrived (juniors, seniors, aman, Sakshi and Sanjana).

Rohit turned and kept his head on Mahi's shoulder.

"Bhai yeh Aman ko sirf Anu and Rits ka bola tha ... yeh Puri paltan le aya" Rohit murmured and Mahi patted his back seeing the whole pack.

"Don't worry .. if Cheeku feels stressed.. we will remove everyone from the room" said Mahi not wanting both of them to be tensed.

Everyone started asking questions at once to Rohit which he hardly understood. But in this chaos he heard only one voice.

"Ro" said Virat waking up from his sleep.

"Ha Vi, I am here, how are u feeling ?" Asked Rohit rushing to his side.

"I still feel tired, can u help me up ?" Said Virat.

Rohit helped him sit up .. Mahi came by his side .. "u okay Cheeku ?" He asked softly.

"I think so bhai" said Virat.

Anu, Rits and Sakshi were surprised to hear Cheeku and Bhai from both of them and conversing normally.

"Bhai Hume bhi milne do na" Harry said to Rohit.

Virat got shocked to see everyone.. he looked at Ro who looked down and Aman mouthed "sorry" to him.

"Virat don't say anything to Aman ... we insisted!! He couldn't say no to us and we didn't listen to jassi .. we were worried about u" Rah said seeing their eye and gestures.

"Are u okay Virat ?" Ash asked seeing him weak.

"I am okay don't worry" said Virat in reply.

"Kya bhai aap na bilkul aapna dhyan nahi rakhte .. bas kaam karte rehte ho ... we got so scared u know" said Rishabh.

"U should scold Rohit bhai too .. he is also taking tension which is resulting into his BP levels fluctuations" said Jassi seeing them ready to scold Vi bhai alone.

Rohit glared Jassi who in return turned his face.

"Why are u both not taking care of urselves ??" Asked Jinks this time.

"Sorry" Ro said in a low voice ... because they didnt had any answers to that.

"Okay what happened we cannot change that .. so from now on no carelessness okay !! Vi,Ro .. u have to take care of urselves" said Bhuvi seeing the atmosphere tensed.

"I second u Bhuvi" said Mahi and Jaddu.

"Yes Bhai please take care !!" Rishabh and Shreyas said along with Yuzi and Kul.

"We will!" said Virat softly.

The juniors and seniors left the room. Sakshi, Anu and Rits were looking worriedly at Virat.

"Don't worry please I am okay" said Virat seeing their tensed faces.

"Pakka?" Asked Anu and Rits together.

"Yes pakka" said Virat softly.

"Dhyan rakh apna bacha!" Said Sakshi cupping his cheeks.

"I will bhabhi" said Virat.

"And u also Ro" said Sakshi to which Rohit nodded.

They left the room. Rohit saw Jassi and Aman talking among themselves.

Mahi - "I will just talk to ur doctor and come"

He said and left the room.

Aman, Jassi just sat on the couch not saying anything.

Virat and Rohit looked at each other confused.

Rohit was gonna say something but Mahi entered with Doctor.

Doctor - "How are u feeling Virat ?"

Virat - "I feel okay ! Just little tiredness"

"Okay that will happen for sometime .. other than that everything is fine! But make sure u dont take any stress .." said Doctor to which Rohit nodded.

Once the doctor left .. Aman said - "I will check the discharge formalities".

Virat could feel Aman not looking at him and ignoring him.

"I will come with you" said Jassi.

"Whats up with both of you?" asked Rohit hearing their tones before they could leave the room.

"You should have told us that whats bothering you but u didnt" said Jassi and left the room along with Aman.

"Oh no!" said Virat and Rohit together.
