The whole day went by ... Virat and Rohit avoided going home. Because they didn't know how to confront Sakshi. Mahi was in the office too .. he was waiting for call of Sakshi to pick her up.

Rohit received Ritika's call..

"Ha Rits ! All okay ?" Rohit asked as he picked up the call.

"All is fine Ro .. u know na u can't avoid for long ! U both have to come home Ro ! Talk to Bhabhi, she is worried about u both" Ritika said softly.

"Ya we will come in sometime" said Rohit and hanged up the call.

Rohit told to Virat and they both got up to leave .. they saw Mahi was still in office.

"Bhai let's go home, u can come with us! Bhabhi and Ziva are there only" Rohit said.

Mahi agreed and went with them. Rohit was driving with Virat by his side and Mahi at the back.

Rohit observed that Virat was looking out of the window the whole time.

He was not taking part in small conversations which were in between Rohit and Mahi.

Mahi noticed how Virat was looking at him with guilt but he could not pinpoint on what it was about. He would not meet Mahi's eyes at all .. what is bothering him now ?

Rohit was also clouded with the thoughts of what Virat said earlier... was it really true or they were just overthinking?

They reached and went inside the house to see the ladies talking among themselves.

After they got freshen up .. everyone was sitting in the hall.

Sakshi said - "Will u both talk to me or are u going to continue avoiding me as u have done the whole day ?"

Rohit said in a low voice - "We are not avoiding you !"

Sakshi scoffed and said - "Then what are u doing ? Playing hide n seek with me !"

Virat and Rohit didn't say anything on that.

Sakshi - "Will u both care to tell me what's wrong with u both ?"

Virat said - "Why do u want to know now ?"

Sakshi taken aback by the question - "What do u mean by that ?"

Virat - "You were telling us that we went from here without telling u or asking u right ? Then why u didn't come to us and ask that we are okay or not ! For 10 days through all that event we were in Mumbai only .. everyone knew that ... whole media was covering us every time except the hospital news .. which was so difficult to hide ... but no one bothered to come ! If u believed us why didn't u come Bhabhi !!! Why ???"

Rohit kept his hand on his to calm him down. Virat gripped it tightly not able to control his emotions.

Rohit - "You could have easily known where we were bhabhi at that time ! If u could have atleast talked to Rits and Anu .. they needed u more than us ! They were so alone ! Atleast not us but u could have called them to ask."

Ritika - "Don't Ro pls .. don't say like that"

Sakshi - "No it's alright Ritz.. I deserve that ! I don't have any explanation for your questions ! I would have been with u but i was not ... I could not because I was figuring out myself why Mahi didn't trust u guys !"

Virat - "That's what I thought !"

He said and got up to leave .. no one knew how to stop him.

Before he could leave .. "Vi chachu where are u going" said Sammy coming from her room while Ziva and Vami were playing inside.

Virat kneeled infront of her and said - "I will come in sometime bacha ! U tell me did u, ziva di and vami had dinner ?"

"Yes We did !" Sammy said.

"Good girls!" Said Virat.

"U are not going again na .." asked Sammy a bit unsure.

"No bacha how can I go when I have promised u !!" Said Virat softly cupping her small cheeks.

"Come soon then!" She kissing his cheeks and went back to her room and Virat left the house.

Everyone saw his softly Virat was speaking to Sammy ! They adored the bond of those two.

Rohit went behind him .. saw him walking on side walk of the street. Rohit came into step with him.

Rohit - "chal ice cream khane chalte hai"

He said and took him near ice cream parlour.

There were not many people there. They sat in a corner away from the crowd.

"We should go now" Sakshi said sadly as Virat and Rohit left.

"Don't worry Sakshi ... they will be okay ! I will make sure that they talk to you may b tomorrow.. just keep little patience and give them some time !!" Said Anushka keeping her hand on hers.

Sakshi hugged both of them and left with Ziva and Mahi.

"Tu yaha kya kar raha hai" asked Virat as they were eating ice cream.

"Dikh nahi raha, ice cream kha raha hu" said Rohit normally.

"Arey matlab why did u follow me" asked Virat.

"Did u think I would let u go alone with all this stupid thoughts" said Rohit.

"So tell me kal ke session mai kya hua tha .." asked Rohit while eating ice cream.

"Ro pls I am too tired .. it's been days .. everyday we discuss something or the others ... please can I have a break ?" Said Virat being tired.

"Ofcourse Vi !" Said Rohit supportively and understanding him keeping his other hand on his.

"Aman ?? What are u doing here ?" Said Virat as he saw him.

"What are u doing matlab ... ice cream parlour mai kapde dhone thodi aya hoga vi kya kuch bhi ..." Rohit said trying to cheer his mood to which Aman chuckled.

"Just I was out for a walk ... so thought to grab a bite of ice cream" said Aman.

"Come join us then!" Said Rohit as it would be a change in conversation.

"How's everything going ? All okay now !" Asked Virat as Aman sat down.

"Yea pretty much I guess! Jassi is finding ways to keep me busy ... he brought me so many books yesterday and is going to ask everyday what I read so that I make a habit" Aman said sharing it with them.

"That's nice ... u both are quite similar in nature so it's easy I guess for you to be friends" said Rohit acknowledging what he said.

"Yes he is so nice to me ! I never had a real friend so I was hesitant at first ... but now it seems so much ease with him" said Aman.

"We are so glad that u two are bonding well!" Said Virat.

"Ummm are u both okay ?" Aman asked hesitantly seeing them a bit worried.

"Ya why do u ask ?" Virat said.

"Umm sir seeing ur both expressions basically ... and now I can tell u are lying" said Aman.

Virat looked at Rohit who was equally surprised by that .. and felt a bit nice too.

"Ohh is it Aman I must say u have become quite observant ha !!" Rohit said teasing him.

"Sir I have been with u both for nearly an year .. I can figure that much as u do with me" said Aman softly to which Rohit smiled.

"Sir u didn't answer my question... are u both okay ?" aman asked again.

"We are figuring it out" said Virat not revealing much to which Aman nodded.

"Aman, can I ask u a question?" Said Rohit wanting to know a opinion which is different than all of them.

"Ofcourse sir" said Aman.

"Suppose if ur closed one's did a horrible mistake which u never expected from them ... and it affected u deeply than u can imagine ..." said Rohit.

"But now they are guilty of that and they have also suffered in their own ways may b not as much as u but they did ... then what would u do ? Would u forgive them ?" Continued Virat.

"Ummm sir .. if u think that they are guilty and have suffered enough ... then I don't think there is any problem in forgiving them" said Aman.

"I know it's hard to forgive so easily... and it would be hard to forget .. because the wound is deep. But healing comes by forgiving that's what I think" said Aman.

"And u know sir i don't have life experience as u but life is very short to keep grudges ... trust me it's better to forgive then regret later " Aman said sadly.. remembering something.

Rohit and Virat saw him lost somewhere. But they thought about what he said.

"Thanks Aman" said Virat honestly because they needed someone else's opinion on this.

"Anytime sir" said Aman smiling which they could say that it was fake.

"I should go ! Good night sir ! Take care" he said to both of them and left.

"He surely has something in his mind which he didn't say to us" said Rohit looking at Aman going.

"Ha but we can't force him na" said Virat.

They started walking towards home silently enjoying the cool breeze.

"Where did u go ? Kitna late kar Diya ... Sammy and Vami slept waiting for u !!" Said Anushka as they entered the house.

"Did u both again have ice cream before dinner ? How many times we have told u not to do that ? U both are more childish than Sammy and vami .. they are more grown up than u !!" Said Ritika.

"If u both are done with ur complains can u give us dinner ... I am so hungry yaar" said Rohit.

"And for the record ice cream idea was of Ro" said Virat and sat on the table for dinner.

"U had it too ... so u both are at fault don't try to pin it on Ro!" Said Anushka.

"Okay we will be careful next time .. so let us have the dinner now" said Virat surrendering.

"U both had it ?" Asked Rohit before he could take a bite to which they nodded.

"Did Mahi bhai and bhabhi had their dinner here ?" Asked Virat.

"No they told that they will have it at hotel" informed Ritika.

"Okay" said Virat.

"Do u both want to talk about it ?" Asked Anushka a bit hesitant to begin the conversation.

"Not today.. let's see in the morning" said Rohit knowing how tired Virat was and even he was.

"Okay !" Said Ritika.

Anushka also made up her mind to talk with Ritika related to everything. She knew how it would be affected her as well.

After dinner they retired for the day !
