Virat along with Rohit and Ritika took Anushka home. Whole night Virat just kept looking at her and thinking how she is still suffering because of him.

Next morning Rohit woke up and saw Virat already in Kitchen drinking coffee.

He casually went to him took the coffee cup from his hand and tasted it. Virat just looked at him when he was tasting it.

'Vi kya hai yeh itni strong coffee' he asked Virat.

'I couldn't sleep last night so needed this now' he said back.

'Understandable' Rohit said.

'We need to reach office by 10. I hope the Statement goes smoothly' Virat said still not sure about the plan.

'Don't worry everything will be fine' Rohit said assuring him.

'Let's meet Nush and Ritz and then we can leave' Virat said.

They arrived at office on 9.30. Aman was already there arranging everything.

Virat was sitting in his cabin with Rohit. He was tapping his fingers on the table in tension and worry. Rohit noticed it.

Rohit kept his hand on his and said - "Don't worry Vi.. is something else bothering you?"

"No nothing else Just this matter" he said taking deep breath.

ICT arrived and saw Virat and Rohit sitting in their cabin.

Mahi noticed that Virat looked visibly tensed. Rohit was rubbing his hands to calm him down.

Mahi was thinking what had gone so wrong in few hours for such change in his demeanour.

Aman welcomed the ICT and told them to wait.

He knocked the door and Virat composed himself.

'Sir ICT has arrived .. do u wanna talk to them ? Or we can start the recording directly?' Aman asked.

Virat came outside with Rohit. He asked hesitantly to Kuldeep - "Umm are u still ready to give the statement ?

Kuldeep - "Yes Ofcourse I will give it Bhai"

He said.

Mahi - "If u don't mind me asking .. I know this seems really important to you guys .. but as u know previously we never used to give statements"

He just asked because it felt different for the first time to give statement. They never did that .. they just ignored it.

Rohit and Virat just looked at each other.

Virat - "it's a bit personal this time .. if u all don't have problem then u can give otherwise we can try out something else"

Kuldeep - "No I don't have any issue .. Mahi bhai I can do it."

He said softly because this was the time when Virat was asking him something and how could he deny.

Virat and Rohit just got a glimpse of their Kul who was always ready to do anything for Virat.

Virat - "Thanks"

Virat and Rohit sat when Kuldeep was giving statement.

Kuldeep's statement - "I saw some post yesterday accusing our Former Player of something he cannot do in his whole life. Virat bhaiya could never ignore me .. Media people should think before speaking anything nonsense. Due to some personal reasons they had to leave and u made such a big deal out of it. Respect privacy and have some decency"

Virat heard that and took sigh of relief. Rohit patted his back.

Virat - "Thank you it means a lot"

Kuldeep wanted to hug him but smiled in response.

Virat was going towards his cabin but swayed a bit on his feet. Kuldeep was near him so he held him.

Kuldeep - "Are u okay Bhaiya?"

He asked worriedly.

Rohit came there and took him in his cabin. He made him sit on the couch. Virat just lay down on the couch exhausted. Rohit sat beside him.

Rohit yelled - Aman !!!!

Aman who was talking to Mahi and KL ran there because it's rare for Rohit to shout.

Aman - "Yes sir"

Rohit - "Go and arrange something to eat for Virat."

He said and Aman ran out of the cabin.

Rohit asked softly - "you okay ?"

Virat - "Yes don't worry .. a bit exhausted"

He said holding his hand.

Rohit - "Why do u worry so much Vi ? U have to be assured that our family will stay together always and we will take care of each other. U don't have to be strong always .. We are here"

He said softly explaining it to him.

Virat just nodded at that.

Aman came with a tray of food having fruits, 2-3 breakfast options ... coffee.

Virat saw that and for the first time he smiled at Aman and said - "I just didn't ate from yesterday evening. .. this food u brought looks like kitne janam se bhuka hu mai"

Aman just scratched his neck and embarrassment and said - "Sir wo I thought u may need it and Rohit sir ne bhi breakfast nahi kiya na so"

Rohit - "You also sit I know u also didn't have breakfast.. aur waise bhi hum dono itna nahi khate hai Jitna u have served us"

He said teasing him a bit.

Aman also sat eating and saw how Rohit was making Virat eat properly. He himself sometime fed him bites.

Aman Was admiring it so much .. He knew how much Virat sir is dealing with things right now but Rohit sir is always there with him.
