I am again super late on this book! I have been busy! But the good side of it is that I have planned 4-5 chapters of this book and will write it super quick and soon I hope! 😬

After some days .. Virat and Rohit were the permanent part of the team now along with the remaining Jaddu, Ash and Bhuvi... they had a nice group and Virat was enjoying their presence and bond with them.

In all this he and Rohit were still inseparable... he needed Rohit more than anyone and same was for Rohit ... they were best of friends.. and Rohit was extra protective of Virat !! And Virat was possessive of Rohit ..

Bhuvi was someone other than Rohit .. who had become close to Virat .. in handling him .. and Virat opened to him unknowingly..

As once it had happened .. that Rohit went out with Jaddu and Ash. Virat had opened up to Bhuvi over one of his fears.

Flashback -

"You will be okay right .. jau mai ??" asked Rohit for the nth time as Jaddu and Ash had made plan to visit the Siddhivinayak temple nearby but Virat didnt want to go as he was being lazy ..

"Ha I will be okay ..." said Virat as Rohit wanted to go..

Rohit went and after sometime Mahi and Yuvi too went for some work ... Virat was sitting alone in his room ..

Virat was sitting in balcony .. observing the city in night .. which seemed so peaceful to him ..

After sometime when he came into the room... Rohit didnt arrive yet ... he closed his eyes and thought to rest... but it did not last long ... as lights went off and the whole room was dark ...

Virat gasped in worry and fear .... seeing the whole dark room ... he hugged his knees ... and buried his face in that ... mumbling 'Ro's' name.

Bhuvi who was in the corridor ... thought to visit Virat .. he entered the room when lights also came back.... he could see Virat curled into a ball in fear ... closing his eyes tightly ...

Bhuvi kept hand on his shoulder to snap him out of his thoughts... Virat opened his eyes ... and saw blurred image of Bhuvi...

"B..h..u..v..i!!" mumbled Virat.

"Ha Virat I am here ... u are okay ..." said Bhuvi taking him into a hug...

"Its ... all .... dark" said Virat holding onto him.

"Dont worry .. it is not dark anymore ... see I am here ..." said Bhuvi calming him down.

"I am not going anywhere!! You are safe" said Bhuvi seeing him restless.

Virat had slept after sometime due to exhaustion and Bhuvi sat beside him patting his head...

Due to this incident Virat had opened upto Bhuvi and they share a quite different bond!

Back to present-

"Ro ... what are you doing ?? Lets go ... Bhai has called us in team room to talk about something important .. " Virat said coming in the room.

"I just slept yaar ... Do we have to go now ?? Is it important??" Rohit said irritated with the disturbance in his sleep.

"Ro ... get up otherwise we will get late ... and its important than your beauty sleep Mr.Panda.." said Virat pulling the comforter off him.

"Ugghhh... no one lets me sleep peacefully!!" said Rohit groaning irritatedly .. and got up to freshen up. Virat sat on the bed waiting for him.

"Whats so important ??" Rohit asked as they were walking towards the team room.

"I dont know ... I was just talking to Bhuvi when Bhai told me to call you..." informed Virat not having any clue about what the meeting was about..

They both arrived to see 2-3 people there which were new and unknown faces but Rohit's gaze was stuck onto the girl standing there with a notepad taking notes ... 'she is so pretty' he thought.

"Where are you lost ?? I was calling you.." asked Virat to Rohit who was not responding to his calls.

"Nowhere.." replied Rohit covering up.

"So Virat and Rohit ... as you are the emerging cricketers ... you have lot on your shoulders right now !! So for you both ... this is the mgmt team ... which will manage your media and other things apart from your game ... so that u dont have to worry about and just focus on your game .. alright ??" informed Mahi.

"Okay bhai" they said in response.

"Hi, I am Ritika Sajdeh ..." said Ritika and greeted both of them with a smile.

"Ritika and Bunty will be your managers ... they will manage ur schedules and everything... I hope you coordinate well.." said the team head.

"Why different managers? Ek bhi toh de sakte the na" whispered Virat to Rohit.

"Do you think one person can handle us both ... if that happens na .. toh we have to admit him/her in mental hospital ... and we will be in jail" said Rohit stating the obvious.

"Thats true" said Virat grinning and they hi-fied to each other.

Mahi's voice brought back them from their converations.

"Okay ... Virat and Rohit ... get to know them and your work ... as today there is not practice .. u both have got lot of time ... Ritika is Rohit's manager and Bunty is Virat's" explained Mahi and left the room.

Virat and Bunty went to coffee shop and Rohit with Ritika went to other ...

Virat was done with his work with Bunty ... and went to his room ... he saw Rohit was not yet arrived ... He called Ro but was not reachable .. He went to Bhuvi's room to spend time with him..

"Bhuvi what are you doing ... meko bor ho raha hai ..." whined Virat sitting beside him seeing Bhuvi engrossed in a book.

"Ro kaha hai Vi.." asked Bhuvi instead of asnwering his question ... because he knew Ro was busy somewhere so only Virat was bored...

"Wo new manager ke sath gaya hai .... dont know why he is taking so much time..." said Virat.

"okay... toh kya kare ab" asked Bhuvi seeing him bored.

"U tell me what are u reading .. what is the story??" asked Virat trying to divert his mind from Rohit somehow.

"U want to read it..." asked Bhuvi as he knew Virat didnt like to read but he has interest in hearing different stories...

"Nahi u read ... I will listen..." said Virat laying down on his bed and keenly listening to what Bhuvi was reading.

They spent time like that till dinner .... Bhuvi and Virat went to dining room .. to see everyone except Rohit ...

"Cheeks, dinner nhi karna ??" asked Mahi not seeing his plate.

"Bhai Ro nhi aya na ... once he comes I will have it with him" said Virat.

"Ha bhai ... Ro ke bina ... he would not able to eat na ... khana digest kaise hoga..."Jaddu teased him.

"Shut up" said Virat irritated a bit as Rohit had not come yet.

"Jaddu sahi toh keh raha hai ..." teased Yuvi seeing Virat irritated.

"Yuvi pa aap bhi..." whined Virat.

"Mahi bhai bolo na inko.... meko tease kar rahe hai..." said Virat.

"ummm cheeks they are not wrong na..." Mahi added to tease him more because he looked cute puffing his cheeks in annoyance.. it was enjoyable for Mahi.

"Bhaiiiiiii...." whined Virat and went to his room.

Virat just lay down on his bed ... waiting for Rohit...

After 2 hrs almost at 12 Rohit had arrived ...

"Ro ... u came .." asked Virat getting up seeing him..

"U didnt sleep yet ... Vi late hua hai.." said Rohit seeing him awake.

"U had dinner?" asked Virat first seeing the time.

"Yes I had ... I am just gonna sleep now ... I am so tired.." said Rohit and went to freshen up.

Virat felt bad that he had dinner ... and didnt ask him once ... as Virat was waiting for him. He saw Rohit sleeping in a sec after laying down on the bed..

Virat frowned that Rohit didnt even bother to tell him... where he was and what happened... he felt really bad with all that and lost all mood to eat the dinner..

"Was he with Ritika the new manager ??" he thought and didnt like how she had taken his whole day that Rohit didnt had time for him.... Rohit didnt call him once...

He lay down on couch ... thinking about everything and watching some matches as he wasnt able to sleep.
