Third POV

Lily was so exhausted from working so hard on her new designs all day, she had to get them ready for the fashion show in a few months to release the new brand into the market.

She was so busy at work lately that she forgot to inform Kelvin of their guest that is coming over for dinner tonight. Not that she was a guest anyway. But to kelvin, she was one. She couldn't help but think about it as she organizes her table so she could go to the grocery store to purchase some items and be able to return home early and prepare dinner.

As she thought about her husband she couldn't help but smile to herself as she imaging him in his office frowning at the paper that stood on his table the way he always those when he is deep in concentration.

I hope he comes home early today for dinner she said to herself making her way out of the office and towards the car where the driver was already waiting for her she was not used to this kind of lifestyle. But kelvin refuses to let her use the bus or hire a taxi when he had so much to spare. She didn't know how to drive either so he had his driver, Michael drives her around.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Alexander " he greeted opening the door for her like a true gentleman. Lily wasn't used to the name and she also remembers telling him on different occasions to call her Lillian. But he doesn't get it.

"Afternoon, I thought I told you to call me Lilian" she reminded him yet again. Removing her coat to get herself more comfortable.

"I don't think Mr. Alexander will be happy about that ma" he replied with a small smile on his face.

"Don't worry about your boss I can handle him" she replied with a smile.

"Alight Ms. Lilian, where will you like me to drive you to Ma?" he asked,

She replied to him hiding the fact that the ms still bother her, at least it was better than Mrs. Alexander.

"Please Take me to the grocery store closest to the house "

"Okay Ma " he replied as he drove them to their destination.

Kelvin didn't get why cooking was so damn hard maybe it was his nemesis to create a disaster and cook terribly every time he enters the kitchen. Thank God his wife was a good cook, he hasn't had stale food in a while now which he practical lives

Off, He was pulled out of his thoughts by the doorbell. He knew it was his crazy friend by the door. He quickly rushed over to the door to open it for his friend.

He knew his friend was not much of a good cook, but he was better at him in the kitchen and could follow the recipe to cook an edible dish and he was not a walking disaster in the kitchen.

"Hey man " he greeted his annoying friend they did their bro handshake, He opened his mouth ready to inform him of the reason he invited him over.

But his friend had other ideas on his mind not paying any attention to kelvin. As he went straight to the kitchen making his way to the fridge, he searches the cupboard, cabinet, and everywhere in the kitchen, he took every junk food he could get his hands on ignoring his displeased friend glaring at him. To him, it was like a Christmas miracle to see so much junk food in his friend's house. He littering hate anything sweet

He came up with so many ideas to murder his friend, he called the idiot to help not create more mess in the kitchen with so many piles of junk food.

"Dude you don't like this stuff, how come there are so many in your house now?" tony asked with a smirk,?

" lily likes them," he said absentmindedly to find his friend winking at him. Tony smile at his annoyed face knowing that his friend had already fallen for his wife and didn't want to admit it.

Before lily came into his life there was no junk food in his house. He hated the taste of it and refuse to tolerate any in his house even for the sake of his dear friend. but now he finds his kitchen filled with so much junk food and also finds himself purchasing them because Lillian practically lives off it.

Kelvin POV

"man who made these cookies they are so good," tony asked moaning while at the taste of the cookie, taking another one out of the cookie jar, and another. When is this going to be over?

"That's it, I have had enough of these " I yell at him taking the cookie jar from him. As he glared at me attempting to take it back.

"You are not going to get this back until you help me, idiot," I said to him with a smirk. He scoffed.

"Fine, what do you want? Don't tell me it involves cooking cause I have been trying to ignore the apron for a while now, I have never seen you wear one before" he said laughing annoyed face. Wow, I had such a great friend.

"So let me guess you want to prepare a romantic dinner for your wife? when you are a walking disaster in the kitchen, so you need my help to cook, what made you think that is a good idea? " he asked sniffing his laughed, jerk

"Cause you are much better than me stop laughing and help me prepare something anything lily will be back soon," I said while trying to make the kitchen look decent, from the side of my eyes I saw him trying to grab the cookie and escape with it, just to get himself out of cooking. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea in the first place. I took the cookie from him putting it back to where it belongs.

"Okay fine I will do it but am in charge here and you will do what I say," he said with a bossy tone. As I glare at him as he gives me the I won't help you if you don't agree to my demand look.

"Fine you better know what you are doing and lily better like what you are going to make" I warned

" whipped *cough* sorry there was something on my throat, cool am okay now we can start cooking " I glare at him as I watch him move around the kitchen.

"I pray nobody dies today", he whispered to himself.

" What did you say, dude," I asked

"Nothing!! " he yelled in uncertainty.

Lillian POV

"What!! you think everyone but you is crazy " I said with a small smile. Have been listening to Tiana ranting about her crazy neighbor all-day. She thinks he is a vampire how convincing. Maybe inviting her to the grocery store was a bad idea. Am so tired I don't think I will be able to prepare anything now.

"Tiana can you stop talking already and help me carry the bag inside, " I tell her in frustration. Michael already took some bags inside, I don't want him to have to take the others inside as while he had worked enough for today.

"Fine, I will help geez, I think living with Kelvin is affecting you negatively you have suddenly become so demanding" she rants while I roll my eyes at her.

We took the grocery bag to the kitchen as Tiana help me sort them out. I was surprised to see kelvin

"Lil you are back, I miss you, well it doesn't matter since you are here with me now. I have good news for you," he said with a smile coming to hold my waist from behind I guess he wasn't aware of our visitor yet. I blush at the attention.

"*cough* *cough* maybe I should give you guys space to continue being cute, "Tiana said with a laugh making her way to the living room.

" I didn't know she was here, never mind so how was your day," he asked. Resting his head on my shoulder.

"It was stressful, I don't think I will be able to prepare dinner tonight, I invited Tiana over to have dinner with us could you please help me order for pizza". I replied discarding myself from him, as I continue to arrange the grocery.

"There no need to order pizza, I prepare dinner" I turned my head so fast to stare at him. As he cutely messes with his hair, he does it when trying to get out of awkward conversations

" you did what? do you want me to die"

Not just you, I don't want to die, stop being a selfish girl

Am me, you are me, we are me. They are... What am I even saying?

"Lil relax I got a little help from tony, I got the contract, you helped me out a lot so I wanted to surprise you." He replied staring at everything but my face. Awwww he is so cute.

"Let's just go and eat it's not a big deal," he said with a frown.

We came to the living room to see, tony and Tiana eating my stash of cookies, I thought I hid those, never mind I didn't.

Kelvin doesn't like sweets so I never hid anything here unlike at my apartment.

"Pretty lady how are you doing, I still don't know why you are still married to my friend, this dude is so boring and grumpy all the time why don't you come to a real man let me show you, love," he said with a wink kissing the back of my hand. Kelvin smacks his head removing my hand from his.

"Ouch Jealous much "he yelled holding his head.

After chatting for a while, We went to the dining room.

We all had a bite of the food spaghetti and meatballs and made faces, I didn't know how they could mess this up we all quickly drank water. So spicy it burns.

Nobody said a thing we stared at each other and the food for a while. Maybe we were deciding our fate or something.

" I think I will order the pizza now, " Kelvin said, getting up from his chair as we all did the same.

"Please " we answered at the same time
