you wake up in the middle of the night.
you slightly open your eyes and turn to check the time on your phone.
3:00 am.
you sit up and rub your eyes.
you didn't sleep very well.
and you didn't really know why.
you stand up and shiver at the cold air outside of the blankets.
you're now awake.
and no way you're gonna go back to sleep.
you go to the bathroom to shower and just hang around till school at 8.
you took a long shower and got out to change.
"i wish kyo was here."
you sigh as you drop your towel and think about your boyfriend.
he was at his house.
sleeping.
which is fine usually but you really just wanted to hug him right now.
you pick up your phone and look at the time
3:56 am.
after changing you flop on your bed, stretching your arms and back.
{ding}
you sat up completely shocked that your phone went off this late.
you pick up your phone and smiled wide when you saw who it was.
kyo🖤: are you up?, sorry if i just woke you.
you became so happy your boyfriend was awake.
you: yea, i've been up.
kyo🖤: you shouldn't be up this late (y/n)
you: neither should you kyo.
kyo🖤: open the door.
you read his text and got confused but did as told and went down to your front door.
you opened the door and saw kyoutani standing in his gym shorts and a sweatshirt.
he yawned and gave you a small smirk.
your smile was huge.
"kyo!?"
he wrapped his arms around you, picking you up making your legs wrap around his waist.
he shut your door with his foot and took his shoes off.
you buried your head in his neck not even asking why he is here.

you didn't care why he was here, you're just happy he's here.
he carried you to your room and laid you down on your bed with him on top of you and your legs still wrapped around him.
he wrapped your blanket around the two of you.
you kissed his cheek multiple times,
"what are you doing here?"
he pulled away and sat up to look at you.
"what?"
"i can't visit my girlfriend?"
you frowned and turned to look at your phone.
4:32.
you looked back at him.
"you can"
he shrugged his shoulders and laid back down.
he took his sweatshirt off and threw it on the floor exposing his bare chest.
he pulled you into his chest to fall asleep.
before you got to comfortable you rolled over making him grunt annoyed that you won't sit still.
"i have to set an alarm"
"why?"
you set your alarm and turned back to him.
"we have school tomorrow."
he rolled his eyes at you.
"i didn't bring my uniform with me, so we don't have to go."
you continued to look at your lazy boyfriend.
"don't you have practice tomorrow?"
he sighed at you and your questions.
"yes but i'll just skip."
"no big deal."
you turned your alarm off because you don't have anything special going on tomorrow and if you can lay in bed all day with your boyfriend you won't complain.
the next morning you woke up.
you stretched your arms and rested your hand on top of the hand of your boyfriend on your chest.
you giggled to yourself at his hand placement.
you looked at your phone and saw the time.
12:13 am.
"well shit"
you stretched your arms and legs and rolled to get out of bed.
your boyfriends hand sliding off of you.
"get your ass back in this bed"
you froze as you went to walk to the door.
"kyo it's 12 in the afternoon."
he slightly opens his eyes.
"i don't care"
"get back in this bed"
you scuffed and rolled back into the warm blankets.
he put he face in your neck and took a deep breath.
you rubbed his head while you both went back to sleeping the day away.

Hiding in the broken building of her old high-school, seventeen-year-old Marylou is one of the few to have survived this far. She doesn't believe in the Ghosts -- shapeless creatures said to roam under the rain outside -- but, to be fair, she doesn't really believe in anything except booze and the unconditioned love of her ball python snake, Evil Noodle. Chance brings Marylou together with Amy, a mysterious girl with an even more mysterious past, and Dean and Ray, two young men running what they call 'the last pizza place in California'. As the Storm rages on stronger by the day, the foursome will have to make a choice: keep hiding under roof after roof, waiting for starvation, or set out to the road and face whatever hides out there, under the Storm.
