"I guess we try and look for animals?" Cato suggested. "Then head back."

"We're not gonna find any." Clove said without emotion. "Let's just go and get some sleep so we can wake up early and get in place."

"Okay then," Cato agreed with her.

Clove started walking back towards the lake. "I'll take first watch." She said as she walked.

"Sure?" Cato asked, following her.

"Yeah," Clove smiled. "I think I should have a turn. You've been first so many times."

"Okay." Cato smiled and headed back to the lake with her.

Clove sat down and looked around.

Cato sat beside her and thought of a plan.

Clove looked at Cato. "Still have that blanket?" She asked.

Cato shook his head lightly, "That disappeared last night too."

Clove scowled at the ground. "It was on us," she muttered. "and she stole it. While it was on us." She shook her head.

Cato nodded and lent back. "Maybe district five's our biggest opponent here."

Clove still couldn't forget about what Katniss had done. "I think they are all big opponents. And we'll be facing three at once tomorrow. Maybe four."

"Thresh and Katniss are gonna be the hardest," Cato murmured and scribbled in the dirt with a stick.

"Redhead will be out without us even noticing probably. I can't believe how she stole our stuff." Clove replied. "Katniss and Thresh will fight."

"True," Cato sighed and looked up at the sky.

"I won't be able to take on Thresh hand to hand. He's too big. I'll take Katniss." Clove said.

"All right," Cato nodded. "Sounds good. But I'll need your help."

* * *

Clove nodded. "Ok. I'll take Katniss and you just try to keep Thresh at bay. I'll try to throw a knife at him while you hold him in position?" She suggested.

Cato looked at her, "Okay, sounds easy aye?"

"It does. I hope it is easy. We can't just lose now."

"We won't lose, Clove," Cato promised her, "we'll be back home before you know it."

"I know," Clove replied, giving Cato a small smile.

Cato smiled slightly.

"Go to sleep." Clove said to Cato soothingly.

"Sure you'll be okay?" Cato asked quietly.

"Positive." Clove assured him.

Cato yawned quietly nd laid down beside her, looking up at the sky for a moment.

Clove stroked Cato's arm softly.

Cato flinched lightly.

Clove continued to stroke his arm happily.

Cato soon drifted off.

Clove watched as the night grew darker. She had no intention of waking Cato that night.
