Cato slipped on the mud and fell into the water; landing on his back. The cold water made him shiver slightly, he got back up quickly and laughed.

Clove splashed Cato, unable to stop her laughter.

Cato moved his arm up to shield his face, he shook the water from his hair then sent a wave of water at Clove. His hand skimming the lakes surface.

Clove squealed again as the cold water hit her and she sent a bigger wave towards Cato, laughing maniacally.

Cato laughed and dodged, he dived underneath the water and didn't come up for a few seconds.

"That's cheating!" Clove managed to yell through her laughter.

Cato grabbed Clove's leg and pulled her underneath the water for a second, before resurfacing himself.

Clove screamed as he pulled her down, kicking until she got back up. She had never had the chance to play like this before.

Clove sent a dozen mini-splashes to Cato, laughing hysterically. The cold water was making her shake, making her laughter come out in little loud bursts. She laughed at how funny her laughter sounded, making it worse.

Cato looked at her and laughed. "Your laugh is cute."

Clove looked back into Cato's eyes. "Thank you."

Cato smiled. "No problem," he chuckled.

Clove held his gaze as she made the biggest wave she could. She sent it at Cato.

Cato gasped slightly, spluttering and spitting water from his mouth. "Nice one," he commented and poked his tongue out at her.

Clove held her head up a bit higher in mocking superiority. "Thank you." She said in a posh voice.

That made Cato laugh a bit more, he waded to the bank and took his jacket off. He rang it out before throwing it over a low branch to dry.

Clove followed him out. The second she got out of the water she started shaking like crazy. It was cold. She took her jacked off and did the same, before sitting down on the grass with her teeth chattering.

Cato had a small blanket in his bag, handing it to Clove. "I'll make a fire," he told her. "So you can dry your clothes, in the meantime, put this around you." He said and begun finding kindling.

Clove smiled and wrapped the blanket around herself. "Thank you." She said.

Cato lit a fire in a matter of minutes and put the jackets near, taking a seat beside her.

Clove moved slightly closer to Cato and put half of the blanket around his shoulder as she watched the sun begin to set in the lake.

Cato admired the sunset.

Clove reached out for Cato's backpack and got out the bird. She leaned her head on Cato's shoulder and took a few bites, then motioned for him to take some.

"Thank you," she started. "For such a perfect day."
