Cato opened the door and glanced over at her.

Clove smiled back and got up to give him a hug.

Cato frowned slightly. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" She said happily. "How are you?"

"Great.." Cato said, and looked around her room.

"What's wrong babe?" Clove asked.

"Nothing." Cato answered and kissed her cheek gently.

Clove decided to let the matter pass.

"So, where are you sleeping tonight?" She asked him.

"Not sure." Cato replied.

Clove smiled at him and hugged him. She was glad she had a cause like him to die for.

Cato wrapped his arms around her again.

Clove wondered how he made her feel so safe. She was in no danger of anything now. Not with his arms around her.

Cato kept her close, afraid that if he let her go he wouldn't be able to bring her back.

"I love you Cato. No matter what happens in the days to come, I just want you to always remember that I love you." Clove said, hugging him tighter.

"Same goes with you," Cato murmured and held her against him.

Clove stayed in his arms, wishing she would never have to leave them.

Cato exhaled deeply.

Clove's mind frantically searched for ways for them to both survive. She found none.

Cato kissed the top of her head once more. "Better head off to bed."

"Alright." She said. She walked over to the draws and got out another pair of pyjamas and started to change.

Cato went to his room and changed out of the training centre outfit.

Before Clove started to put on her pyjamas, she decided to take a quick shower. She was still a bit sweaty from training. She took a mental note not to get used to it though, there had never been a shower in the arena. She quickly showered and dried herself, and got ready for bed.

Cato returned to her room, "Can I stay in here?"

Clove laughed and gave him a hug.

"Of course you can!" She gave him a light kiss.

Cato smiled and jumped on her bed, laying down.

Clove giggled and crawled next to him, putting her head on his chest and cuddling him.

Cato draped his arm over her, pulling Clove close to him.

Clove smiled and closed her eyes, listening to the sound of his heart beat.

Cato closed his eyes and dozed off immediately, but his nightmares haunted him for the whole night.

Clove listened as his heart beat quickened. She brought her head up to look at his face. She could only see a little, but he looked stressed. She held him close. She wished she could stop his nightmares. She soon fell asleep too.

Cato didn't know how many times he watched Clove die in his dreams.

Clove woke to one ear feeling wet. Cato was sweating. A lot. Clove shook him awake.

"Babe what's wrong?"

Cato sat bolt up, panting slightly.

"Are you ok Cato?" Clove asked, distressed.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Cato answered and swallowed, he got up. "I'm just gonna go and grab a drink." He told her and walked out of the room.

"Cato. Wait up." She jumped of the bed and caught up with him. "What's wrong? You can tell me."

"Nothings wrong," Cato repeated and went to the sink, grabbing a glass and filling it with water.

"Don't you trust me?" Clove asked.

"I do, Clove," his voice sounded choked.

"Then tell me what's wrong." Clove looked into his eyes. She hated seeing him in pain.

"It was just a bad dream." Cato told her, skulling the glass of water.

"What was it about?" Clove asked. She had know if there was a way to stop the nightmares he was getting.

"The arena." was all he said and had another drink before turning it upside down on the sink.

"What about the arena?

"People dying," He murmured. "and then coming back to haunt us." Cato lied.
