《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Thirty-nine: Nutcracker, genital herpes, and fun_

"Where the hell-" The crowd I was sitting in got silent as the man started speaking to Sam in Japanese. The clock started to count down as Sam looked to his brother for help. I stood up and made my way over to the stairs, but before someone grabbed my wrist.
"Miss? Where are you going? The shows about to get really good." I narrowed my eyes at the man and pulled my wrist away from him. "None of your goddam business." I went to walk again but the man grabbed my wrist again.
"That's it, buddy." I swung around and my fist collided into his face. He fell back into the people behind him. With a huff, I walked onto the stairs and started to walk down them.
"I am sorry, Sam Winchester." The man on the stage said.
"Sorry? Sorry for what?" But before Sam could get an answer the red ball attached to the stage swung up and punched him right in the crotch. My hand flew to cover my wide open mouth. Sam crouched over in pain.
"Whoa! 'Nut-cracker'!"
I stood there in shock at what just happened. Why the hell are they on this game show? Why the hell am I here? I snapped myself out of my shocked state and continued down the stairs.
When I got the last stair security guards came over and stood in front of me. "Come one guys. Are we really going to do this? Right here? Right now?" They said nothing and just stood there. Behind them, on the stage, Castiel had appeared.
"-You've been missing for days."
"So get us the hell out of here then." Castiel nodded briefly before disappearing in static. I peeked my head around one of the guards to see what was going on better.
"No, no, no. Mr. Trickster does not like pretty boy angels." And then that's when it hit me. Gabriel was working on the Winchesters...but why like this? The game continued and I looked up at the two guards.
"Okay. Guys. I happen to know your boss. He's not going to like it when I tell him about this little situation." They said and did nothing about it. "Okay, playing hard to get, are we? Alright. I'm game." I crossed my arms and stayed still for a second before I punched the guard to the right.
He fell to the floor and the second guard came over to grab me but I punched him as well. He stumbled back a bit. The first guard started to stand up but I slammed my foot into his face. Guard number two grabbed my arms so I jumped up and headbutted him in the nose. This sent him to the floor holding his bleeding nose. Both guards made no moves to try again.

I took my guard down and I placed a hand on my stomach and knee out of breath. This whole baby thing was really slowing me down. When I looked back up I saw we weren't in the same place.
I stood on a basketball field watching a few guys play basketball. Sam was talking to a camera about genital herpes while Dean was playing basketball.
"Dean," I whisper hissed over to him when he came close to me.
"Cansas? What are you doing here? Are you alright?" He asked walking over to me. I nodded and placed my hands on my hips. Why am I here? Oh, that's right. I came to grab Gabriel. 3 minutes tops my ass.
"Um...I had picked up a case on-the trickster. Yep. And now I'm here." Dean narrowed his eyes at me. He could tell I was lying. Before he could say anything to me Sam came over. "Cansas. I saw you take down those guards. Are you good?"
"Yep...so, how do we get out of here?" But yet again, before the brothers could answer the scenery changed and I was sitting in a brightly colored motel room. With a sigh, I got up and walked out of the room. The door next to me shut and a woman only her underwear and black heels walked away.
"Um-miss. Who was in that room?" She giggled a little.
"Dean." I nodded my head slowly. "Alright. Thanks."
She walked away and I turned back to the door. "Cansas." I looked over to see Castiel standing there. Blood ran down his face from his cuts. "Where are they?" He asked.
"This way come on." We both made our way over to the door and he opened it. The inside was the same as the room I was in first. Sam and Dean looked over at us.
"Are you two okay?" Dean asked.
"I don't have much time." We both walked into the room.
"What happened?"
"I got out."
"From where?" Dean asked but Castiel ignored the question. "Listen to me. Something is not right. This thing is more powerful than should be." Oh no...
"What thing? The trickster?"
"If it is a trickster." Oh no, no, no.
"What do you mean?" Sam asked but before Castiel could answer he was thrown into the wall behind us.
"Hello!" I looked over to see Gabriel jump into the room. An invisible crowd started to cheer.

"Thank you! Thank you." Castiel stood up, a piece of duct tape over his mouth.
"Hi, Castiel." Castiel's eyes widened when he saw who he was staring at. Gabriel waved his hand and Castiel was gone in static.
"You know him?"
"Where did you just send him?"
"Relax. He'll live. Maybe." Sam pulled me closer to him as Dean walked over to Gabriel.
"You know what? I'm done with the money dance. We get it."
"Yeah? Get what, hotshot?" As the minutes went by Dean got progressively more pissed.
"Playing our roles, right? That's your game?"
"That's half the game."
"What's the other half?" I took hold of Sam's jacket when I started to feel a bit nauseous. I looked at the floor and closed my eyes. Not here. Dear god not here. Sam wrapped his arm around me and let me use him as support. Gabriel saw this and a look of worry crossed his face for a second before he snapped back.
"You know-Sam starring as Lucifer. Dean starring as Michael. Your celebrity death match. Play your roles." Sam tightened his grip on me.
"You want us to say yes to those sons of bitches?"
"Hells yeah. Let's light this candle." I looked back up slightly to look at the scene before me.
"We do that, the world ends."
"Yeah? And whose fault is that? Who popped Lucifer out of the box, hmm? Look, it's started. You started it. It can't be stopped. So, let's get this over with." I pushed away from Sam and stood on my own. The room was early quiet until Dean spoke.
"Heaven or Hell? Which side you on?" I shook my head.
"Dean...don't-"
"It's alright Candy I can handle it," Gabriel said looking over at me and then back to Dean. "I'm not on either side."
"Yeah right." Dean scoffed. "You're grabbing ankle for Michael or Lucifer. Which one is it?" Dear god, this wasn't going to end well at all.
"You listen to me you arrogant dick. I don't work for either of those S.O.B's, believe me." Dean was quiet for a minute.
"Hmm. Oh, you're somebody's bitch." And that's when it snapped. Gabriel grabbed Dean by the jacket and pinned him to the wall. Sam went to walk over but I held my arm out to stop him. He looked down at me and I shook my head. To say I wasn't a little scared was a lie. I had never seen Gabriel get this pissed.
"Don't you ever, ever presume to know what I am." Gabriel let go of Dean and in a split second, I was standing next to him. My stomach did a front flip and I had to steady myself.
"Here's whats going to happen. You're gonna suck it up, accept your responsibilities, and play the roles destiny has chosen for you."
"And if we don't?" Gabriel smirked.
"Then you'll stay in tv land...forever. 300 channels and nothings on." Gabriel snapped his fingers and the brothers were gone.
"You got to stop teleporting me places. I think I might hurl." I said walking over to the table and sitting down.
"What are you doing here?" Gabriel asked sitting down as well.
"I need to tell you something," I said eyeing the sandwich on the table. "Is anyone going to eat that?" I asked looking over to Gabriel who has his eyebrows raised. "No."
"Well, then. Don't mind if I do." I said pulling plate closer. I had to take out a whole bunch of the insides so I would be able to eat it normally. Before I could start eating the sandwich I stopped myself. What the hell was I thinking? 'Is anyone going to eat that?' Jesus, I'm so insensitive.
Placing the sandwich on the plate I looked back over at Gabriel. "I'm sorry...Are you alright?" I asked taking his hand in mine. "I should be asking you that. You looked like you were going to puke."
"Well...I was...I'm-sick." I lied. Just tell him already!
"Then why are you here? You should be in bed." He said standing up.
"Uh...no, no. I'm fine. I don't feel bad anymore." Gabriel narrowed his eyes at me.
"Okay...well, what was it that you needed to tell me?" Come on! Suck it up! Be a big girl! My inner voice yelled at me but my mouth did differently.
"Um-You know what. How about after this I tell you. It's really not that big of a deal." Gabriel stood there confused. Oh god, he's going to hate me. So I broke the silence.
"Anyway, I have an idea."

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
