《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Thirty-seven: Daddy dearest_

Crowley walked past me and filled himself a glass of scotch. He tilted the bottle at me with a questioning look. I shook my head. Too many emotions were running through me I couldn't speak.
"Suit yourself." He then put the glass top on the bottle. He placed a hand in his pocket and walked over to me. "My, how you've grown. It's amazing. When you were born you were just a little bigger than my hand." Crowley then took a sip of his drink. "A very chubby baby you were."
"How-you...you possessed my mother. How? She never went anywhere without her necklace."
"Those things aren't reliable. Always breaking. See your smart and got it tattooed on." I stayed quiet for a while.
"Why?"
"Why? Why what? Why did I possess your poor mother? Why did I want to create an antichrist?" I growled slightly.
"Yes. Tell me before I kill you." Crowley smirked at this. "You would kill your own flesh and blood?"
"I would." Quinn groaned from her spot on the couch. "Just tell her Crowley. It took me forever to get her here." Crowley narrowed his eyes at her before he looked back at me.
"I should really fire her. Doesn't do anything for me." Quinn went to say something but instead growled.
"Anyway. Why did I want to have a child? Oh yes, so I could secure a spot on the throne. So I could have an heir. The list goes on and on." That was it. That was why I was how I am. So that some demon could use me to get to the throne.
"What throne?" I asked not satisfied with his answer.
"The throne of Hell. And you're going to help me get it. Come. Let's talk over dinner shall we?" He started to walk off. Quinn got up and followed after. I was not about to have dinner with a demon. "Are you coming, dove?" Crowley asked looking back at me. My inner voice screamed at me not to but my feet told me otherwise.

"Don't call me that," I growled following after him.
We sat down at a huge table with different types of food filling it. "I don't normally eat but it's a special occasion. I had my staff put together some of your favorites." It was my favorites. There was steak, chicken pot pie, pasta, and some other things. Quinn didn't wait another second to start digging in.
I stared at her before looking over to Crowley who had started to eat as well. He looked up at me and gestured for me to eat as well. "Please, eat. I've heard you are eating for two nowadays." My eyes narrowed. How did he know? The only other person that knows is Balthazar.
"Excuse me?"
"You are pregnant, am I right?" Before I could say anything Quinn spoke. "She's totally preggers. I should know. Been there done that." She said shoving some more pasta into her mouth. Both me and Crowley looked at her with narrowed eyes.
"What? Just stating the truth. She wasn't very bright, am I right Crowley?" Her accent became heavier when she said this. Crowley rolled his eyes and ignored her. "It doesn't matter that you have a bun in the oven. It's just another person to secure my up and coming throne."
"...I just have two questions...One: Isn't Lucifer King of Hell? And Two: I've been told several times now that all demons are trying to get me to work for him. Why aren't you trying to?" Crowley sat back in his seat.
"Yes, he is. But not after you kill him. The throne will be open for the taking and I'll seize it. After Lucifer kills all of humanity he'll come after us, demons. He thinks we are just stains on the floor. Like all those cloud sitting angels. So why would I give him the one thing that could kill him? Where's the logic in that? It's not like I made you for him."

I crossed my arms on the table and leaned forward a bit. "Why do you think I'm going to help you. Your little friend over there killed my parents. You made me a monster. So why, why would I help you in any way."
"You want to kill Quinn. Be my guest."
"You little worm-" Quinn started to stand up but Crowley snapped his fingers and she was pushed back into the chair. "And I'll make sure you and your child don't go to Purgatory when you both die. Of natural causes of course." I was quiet for a minute. He couldn't really do that? Could he?
"I've done in before, dove, if that's what you're worried about. I can send you down to me and we can live forever." When I didn't answer for a while Crowley held his hands up.
"You don't even have to answer now. When you've thought it over, call me." He said as a red card showed up on my plate. I picked it up and read, 666 ~Daddy dearest which was written in silver ink.
"Now would you like her in a doggie bag or box?" I looked over to Quinn who was still stuck to her seat despite her struggle. This was my chance. My chance to end it all. To get my revenge. But something didn't feel right. It was too easy.
"Keep her fresh for me will ya. I'm not in the mood for murder at the moment." I said standing up. Crowley shrugged and Quinn was released from her seat. Her eyes had turned black as she stared daggers at Crowley.
"Well, it's late and I have things to attend to. Don't forget to call me with your answer." He said before snapping his fingers making me disappear. I reappeared at the motel room Sam and Dean were staying at.
"Cansas! Are you alright?" I heard Sam ask. I looked over at him and nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine. Quinn got away again." I said putting Crowley's card in my pocket. "Where's Jesse? Is he okay?"
Sam and Dean both sighed. "He sent that demon back to hell...and then he disappeared. God only knows where." Dean said running a hand over his face. I nodded and patted my thigh.
"Well...I should get going. It was nice seeing you both again..." They both nodded.
"We'll see you around Cansas. Keep safe." I smiled warmly at the brothers.
"You take care as well." And with that, I was gone in the blink of an eye. I reappeared in the living room of my home. Balthazar sat on the couch reading a newspaper while Gabriel was building a Jenga tower.
"Honey, I'm home."

Will You Be Alone? After The End? Don't You Know We're All Still Here?
More than a century ago the world was devastated, but that doesn't matter. Nobody cares about the past, stories from that time are as wildly conflicting as they are ridiculous--when any stories exist at all. There are problems in the here and now that need to be dealt with, bringing the past into things isn't going to help anyone. The fact is that young people all over the world are developing mysterious powers, and the public reactions to these powers are far from positive. Fair enough, you might say. Who wants a young man around who can conjure heat from the palm of his hand? How deeply undesirable is a girl who can bend your emotions to her will? What use, I ask you, is a girl whose very essence crackles with lightning? No use at all, I'd say. As for this so-called Mr Fin and his grand ideals, well, all I can say is that his clothing is of better quality than his plans. Vague allusions to a 'sanctuary' and a 'mysterious and powerful statue' are all very well, but when it comes to solid results I fear you may find him somewhat lacking. Mark my words and mark them well, following one such as him will only lead to tears. All in all, I'd say there's not much you could reasonably expect from a world such as this. Conflict, perhaps. Hardship, certainly. Despair, heartache, loss... ...hope? No, don't be ridiculous. Where could one find hope, in this ruin of an existence? Honestly, I am asking. Where?Discord

System Only Gives Me Useless Gifts
Li Yun grew up with a system that gave him useless gifts. He wanted a reward that could prove the existence of the system, but ended up with abstract gifts like culture. Without physical proof, he was stuck wondering whether his mind was truly sane, all the while dealing with the reality of life. How will the "useless" system help Li Yun navigate medical school, hospital politics, criminal cases, treasure hunting, farming and cooking? Author's Note: This is a slice-of-life novel about a doctor with a mission-type system. It's written as a faux modern Chinese novel, so there are many 1-off characters and episodic mini arcs. Just a bit of warning, the tone of the story is very different after the childhood arc and jumpy as it chronicles Li Yun's life. I'm trying to make it less apparent in the rewrite, but there are still a lot of time skips. RR is the rewrite version, no set schedule. See webnovel for OG. scribblehub is a combo of both . I recommend scribblehub since it has pictures. Copyrights of the novel and cover are owned by Chocomug. Novel is free to read and download for personal use, such as offline reading, only.
