《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Thirty-two: Welcome to the neighborhood_

The next morning I woke up with a start. Sweat dripping off my forehead. Someone mumbled beside me and I look down to see Gabriel sleeping there. Since when did he sleep? With a deep sigh, I lay back down snuggled up close to him. I close my eyes and try to get a few more minutes in but I'm interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
"Gabriel," I said pushing him. "Gabriel get the door." But all that did was make him groan in his sleep and roll over. So, with a huff, I get out of bed. I grab my black sweatshirt and pull it on as I make my way out of my room. Walking down that stairs slowly I rub my eyes.
I could hear muffled talking coming from the other side of the door. Opening the door I'm met by two people. One is a brown haired woman and a black-haired man. "Uh...hello."
"Hi. We just came to welcome you to the neighborhood." I nod slowly and slightly look back into the house to see one of my guns on the table. "Uh...thank you?"
"Cansas? Who are you-" I look over to see Gabriel standing there, wearing only his red boxers with white hearts. I turned back to the people in front of me.
"My husband and I have lived here for a few years. We have to say it's been great. It is also a great place to raise children. I should know. I have three little ones myself." Gabriel walked up behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"And how are the schools?"
"Oh, the schools here are great. I am head of the PTA board and I make sure everyone is safe and sound." Gabriel nodded his head.

"Do you hear that honey? I told you it would be fine." Gabriel said with a cheesy smile.
"Yep...sounds great." I forced a smile.
"Anyway. We'll get out of your hair. Oh, but before we go I baked you two a cake." She said taking the tin foil covered plate from her husband. She handed it to me with a huge smile.
"Oh, wow. Thank you."
"It's no problem. We'll see you both round." And with that, they left. We both stood there for a while before Gabriel took the cake from me. "Nice people," Gabriel said walking back into the house. I walked in and I shut the door.
"Why would you do that?" Gabriel walked into the kitchen and placed the cake on the table.
"Uh-'cause it was funny." He grabbed two forks and sat down at the table. Gabriel took the tinfoil off to reveal a chocolate cake.
"And we got cake out of it Candy. Free cake." He said before taking a huge bite out of it. I shook my head and sat down at the table. I grabbed the other fork and took a bite of the cake.
"And since when do you sleep?"
"I never said I can't sleep. It just doesn't do anything for me. So I've learned to appreciate sleep." My mouth fell open slightly.
"You lied about not falling asleep!"
"When?"
"When I was younger I tried to stay up longer than you! You fell asleep but when I started to boast about winning you lied and said you were just closing your eyes because they 'hurt'." Gabriel thought about it and then shook his head.
"Nope. I didn't. I got an eyelash stuck in them." I scoffed and fell back in my seat.

"You are such a cheater."
"Not the way I'm seeing it."
"Who was at the door?" We both looked over to see Balthazar walking over to us.
"You were here the whole time?" I asked he sat down. Balthazar looked over at me and nodded. "Where else would I be?" My mouth huge open. "So you could have answered the door." Balthazar nodded again.
"Yes. But I didn't what to have to deal with them. Oo, cake."
After half the cake was eaten I got up. "I'm going to unpack my stuff."
Balthazar nodded and got up as well. "I should be going anyway. I'll see you two tonight?" We both nodded and he was gone in the blink of an eye. "You want to help me?" Gabriel nodded and followed me up the stairs.
When we got into my room I picked my bags up and placed them on my bed. I started to take clothes out and put them in their new homes.
"Man Candy. Why don't you ever wear this?" I looked over to see Gabriel holding up a black dress...except it was very see through. I walked over and grabbed it from him.
"Because I don't. An old friend of mine thought it would funny to get it for me." I said shoving the very revealing dress into the back of my dresser.
"Well, your friend had the right idea. I bet you would look good in it."
"Too bad you won't see me in it." Gabriel snapped his fingers and I instantly felt colder. I looked down to see the dress on me. "GABRIEL!" I shouted covering myself the best I could.
"Cansas you look...wow." My face became beet red. "Gabriel...change me back now."
"Why would I do that?" He then started to walk over to me.
"B-because I asked you...n-nicely." Gabriel wrapped his arms around my waist and I looked away. "Why are you so embarrass?" He asked with a chuckle.
"B-because...this is really revealing." I looked back over to see him smirking. "Well, it's nothing I haven't seen before." I rolled my eyes. Gabriel chuckled again and then kissed me on the nose. I was instantly changed back into sweatpants and my sweatshirt.
"Better?" I nodded my head. "Yep."
The next day I got a phone call. I looked to see it was Dean Winchester.
"H-hello?" I answered hesitantly.
"Cansas...how've you been?" I looked around to see if anyone was in the house.
"Uh...fine...you?" I asked not knowing what else to say.
"Fine, fine...hey-you think you could zap over here and help us out?"
"What's wrong?"
"Uh...well there's a demon here that really wants to talk to you." I narrowed my eyes in confusion.
"What? Who?"
"Cansas...It's Quinn..."

Odyssey of the Unrivalled
What do you do when you have it all? When you can do anything, go anwhere, know anything with less effort than stretching your fingers? When you feel jealous of any passer-by, just because they have something to do, somewhere to be? The answer was simple to him: erase your memories, seal your power and live a normal life. Still, something felt wrong. It just didn't feel... fulfilling. But then a magical formation appears in his office, and he and his co-workers get catapulted into another world. Profanity will be kept to a minimum, but will be included to keep realism. There will be some gore, vegans and animal activists alike beware. Will include some comedy, some meaningful conversation (I hope) and some things you will (hopefully) never expect in this genre. Hopefully quality will increase as it goes on. No schedule for chapters, but they will keep coming. Feedback welcome. View my other story at https://royalroadl.com/fiction/13168/fork-this-life
