《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Twenty: She's a super freak_

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't speak. I couldn't move.
"Cansas. I know this might be a bit of a shock for you...but Bobby ran all the tests. It's me. I'm back."
So I did the one thing anyone would do. I hung up. "Are you alright?" Balthazar placed a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him.
"I-I...It was Dean..." I said wide-eyed. Balthazar narrowed his eyes.
"Dean? As in Winchester?" I nodded and sat down. "Why did you hung up on him?" He asked sitting in the chair next to me.
"Because he's dead...he's dead! I saw his body!" I said looking up at him with teary eyes. My phone started to ring again and I looked down to see it was Bobby. "Cansas...If it is truly Dean, I would talk to him." I stared at the ringing phone.
Taking a deep breath I answered it. "B-Bobby?" I questioned tears running down my cheeks.
"Yes, dear...It's me. I know it's shocking. And you might think we're just some punk-" I cut him off before I got the idea to hang up. "C-Can I talk to him?"
"Of course." The phone was then handed over to him.
"Cansas..." I let out a sob as I covered my mouth. "Dean...W-where are you?" I asked running a hand over my face. "Bobby's place...Have you seen Sam, Cansas?" He asked making me cry harder. "N-no...he l-left before I-I could s-stop him. Dean...I need to hang u-up...I'll see you soon..." I cried hanging up the phone.
"Is it him?" Balthazar asked. I nodded and wiped my tears. In the blink of an eye, I had changed out of my PJs and into a flannel and jeans. "I'll be back...please call me if Loki gets back. Or have him call me." Balthazar nodded and I then disappeared.
I reappeared on Bobby's front porch. Hesitantly I knocked on the door. A few seconds later Bobby answered his eyes wide. "Cansas? How the hell did you-"
"W-where is he?" I asked walking past him into the house. When I looked into Bobby's study Dean stood there. "Cansas? How did you get here?" He asked as Bobby walked over to me. "Your car isn't parked out front," Bobby said crossing his arms. I stood there frozen. How the hell was he alive.

"I saw...your body was...you were dead," I said tears coming back to my eyes. "We don't know...but that doesn't answer how you got here so fast." I snapped back into relate and wiped my cheeks.
"If I tell you that you'll hate me."
"And if we don't?" Bobby asked. I looked over to him and then back to Dean. I had to think of something fast. "Uh...Well...I've kind of been...um...hanging out with the trickster. He zapped me here." That doesn't count as lying right?
"The trickster? Are you crazy?"
"He's actually very sweet once you get to know him."
"Please. All they want to do is spread mischief."
"Tell me you're not sleeping with him at least," Dean said making me shake my head. "No I've never slept with him!...but we're friendly." If I'm going along with this, might as well spill it all. Dean threw his arms down by his side.
"So what are you his girlfriend?"
"...maybe." Dean ran a hand over his face. "How long?" Dean asked. "We started 'dating' last year, but he followed me around for a while before that," I said as Dean shook his head. "I can't believe it...I thought you hated him?"
"I did. But that was before I got to know him." This looked like it physically hurt Dean to hear me say that. "Oh stop it and grow up. You've been with plenty of girls I found repulsive."
"Oh really? I've been with the repulsive people? Junior year, high school. What was his name..." Bobby cut Dean off before he could say anything more. "Alright, you two. You've both been with some pretty rotten people. Cansas. If he makes you happy then we're happy for you. But the moment that son of a bitch hurts you he's dead meat."
"Thank you," I said crossing my arms. "Whatever," Dean said rolling his eyes.
"So...you haven't been able to find Sam?" I asked turning the room cold. Bobby and Dean looked at each other. "Yeah...We found him...he's in Pontiac, Illinois."
"Isn't that near where we buried you?" I asked making him nod. My eyes widened. "You don't think..."
"We don't know what to think." The room went quiet again. "Well, we should go get him,"
We all hopped into Bobby's old car and drove off. When we got there it was dark out. After we found out what room he was staying in we went there. Dean knocked on the door and a few seconds later women with black hair opened the door. My eyes went wide.

She may have looked normal to the normal human eye. But she had the face of a demon. "So, where is it?" She asked us.
"Where's what?"
"The pizza that takes three people to deliver." Dean looked to me and Bobby and then back to the demon. "I think we have the wrong room."
"Hey, is..." We all looked behind the demon to see Sam standing there. "Hey, ya, Sammy," Dean said walking into the room. As I walked past the demon I stared daggers at her. It was quiet for a while before Sam took out a knife and went to stab Dean. Bobby and I rushed in and held Sam back.
"Who are you!?" Sam shouted still trying to get over to Dean.
"Like you didn't do this!"
"Do what?!"
"It's him! It's him, Sam! I've been through this already. It's really him." Bobby shouted. Sam stopped struggling against us and we let him go.
"But..."
"I know. I look fantastic, huh?" Dean asked with a huge smile. They then hugged each other. When they pulled apart it was silent for a while.
"So are you two like...together?" The demon said from the doorway. "What? No. He's my brother."
"Oh, got it...I-I guess. Look, I should probably go." Sam nodded. "Yeah, yeah. That's probably a good idea. Sorry."
We all waited for the demon to get changed. He has to not know she's a demon...right? When she was done Sam saw her out. "So, call me."
"Yeah, yeah, sure thing, Kathy."
"Christie."
"Right," Sam said before closing the door on her. "You guys can handle this right? I have to make a quick call." I said looking over to Dean.
"Who do you have to call?"
"My boyfriend," I said making Dean pull a disgusted face. "I still can't believe you went for him."
"She went for who?" Sam asked making Dean look to Bobby. "Uh...I'll tell you later. But in the meantime talk with your brother." I said patting him on the shoulder. "Alright." He said with a chuckle. I walked out of the room and quickly made my way to the lobby to see the demon was just leaving.
I followed her out the motel and down the street. When I got close enough to her I pulled her into a dark alleyway. "What the hell!"
"Christie right?" I asked with a fake smile. "Why do you care freak?"
"Because I don't think that's your real name. And I don't think this is the real you, demon." I growled. The demon chuckled and her eyes turned black. "What gave it away? Was it my acting? Never was very good at it." She said before headbutting me.
I stumbled back and before the demon could zap away I held my hand up and she was stuck to the wall behind her. "What the hell!" She shouted. I rubbed my forehead and looked up at her.
"Oh...you must be the antichrist. Cansas right? Your daddy's been looking for you for a long time. So has Quinn. I wonder which one will get to you first. Personally, I hope it's Quinn." I growled again and the demon grunted in pain.
"Who are you and why were you with Sam?"
"Sam? As in Winchester? Those two were Sam and Dean Winchester? You've got to be kidding me!" She growled. "So you didn't know that was him?" I asked with narrowed eyes. "What?! No! I was just looking for a good time." I watched her carefully. What if she's lying?
"So what will it be? Death? I bet you can do that with your jacked up powers. Or an exorcism? Which will it be?"
"Who's the demon?"
"What?"
"I'll let you go if you tell me who the demon is that made me."
The demon chuckled. "Like I know the guy's name!"
"You have to have at least some idea as to who it is." The demon shook her head. "All I know is he's pretty high in rank. Demons call him Lucky the Leprechaun behind his back. But it's not Quinn if that's what you think." I let out a sigh. "Now...can you let me go? Or are we going to do the whole death thing?"
"No hard feelings," I said with a shrug. The demon growled slowly. "Well do I get one dying wish?" I narrowed my eyes at her. "What?"
"Come closer." I hesitantly walked closer to her. She then headbutts me again and I fell back. Before I could stop her the demon disappeared. I put a hand on my head as I stood up.
"Son of a bitch!"

For mage teams, the battle camps of the Upper Realms provide both, with missions ranging from orc hunts to political espionage. This tale follows one such team of four who strive to prove themselves in a world that would rather overlook them. Loyalty, honour, and devotion are contrasted by avarice, treachery, and apathy, though at times it can be difficult to separate vice from virtue.
