Dean sits on the bench in the cell as Calliope and Sam walk around in it all trying to figure out what just happened. "So, what? The sheriff's on the take?" Dean asks looking at the other two.
"Yeah, No" Sam says to him, "What the zombies are paying her off?" he then says.
Calliope looks out the bars of the cell, as the doors to the main part of the station swing open, "Boys" she says, "look" she then says as she sees Bobby talking the Sheriff Mills.
"So, what, now they're friends" Dean remarks as the two look over at the three of them.
The three of them are let go, and start walking out, as Calliope pushed Bobby in his wheelchair, "Bobby, I thought the sheriff hated you?" Dean asks him.
"She did, till five days ago." He tells him.
"What happened five days ago?" Dean asks.
"The dead started rising all over town" he answers Dean,
"Bobby, you did know about this, didn't you?" Calliope asks him.
"Yep" he says to her.
"I think what Callie meant to say is, you lied to us" Dean says to him.
Bobby then takes over wheeling his chair, turning it around to face the three of them, "Look, I told you there was nothing here, and there isn't. Not for you" Bobby says to them.
Dean looks at Bobby, "There are zombies here" he says to him.
"There's zombies and then there's zombies" Bobby tells them, "Come with me" he adds as he turns around and starts leaving the station. Calliope, Sam and Dean all share a look with one another before following Bobby out.
They make their way back to Bobby's house, and as they go inside, Bobby automatically takes his hat off and heads for the dinning area, "Bobby you want to tell us what-" before Calliope can finish they see a woman walking into the room, with dinner plates in her hand.
"Oh, hey" she says, as Calliope, Dean and Sam all look at her in shock, "I didn't realize you were bringing company" she adds.
"It's 4 a.m., babe, you didn't need to cook" Bobby says wheeling over toward the woman.
"Oh, please. I'll get some more plates" she says as she then leaves the room.
"Who was that?" Dean asks looking at Bobby.
"Karen, my wife" Bobby tells him.
"Your new wife?" Dean asks.
"My dead wife" Bobby says, and they all look at him in surprise.
Calliope, Sam and Dean sit at the dinning table, as 'Karen' serves them pie, and they graciously take it. "Mm-mm" Dean says taking a bite, "This is incredible, Mrs. Singer" Dean says to 'Karen', and Sam and Calliope both give him a look.
"Thank you, Dean" she says to him.
"What, it is?" Dean says quietly seeing the look from Calliope and Sam.
"Looks great, Karen, thanks" Bobby says to his 'wife'. "Could you--? Could you just give us a minute?" he then says to her. She looks at the other three and gives them a smile as they smile back at her, before she walks away into the kitchen, closing the sliding door partially shut. Once she is gone, all three of them push their slices of pie to the side and look at Bobby.
"Are you crazy? What the hell?" Dean asks him.
"Dean, I can explain" Bobby says to him.
"Explain what? Lying to us? Or the zombie making cupcakes in your kitchen" he sneers at Bobby.
"First of all, that's my wife, so watch it" Bobby retorts a little anger in his voice.

"Bobby, that whatever that is, it isn't your wife" Calliope says to him.
"How do you know that?" Bobby asks her.
"Are you serious?" Sam then asks.
"You think I'm an idiot, boy? My dead wife shows up on my doorstep...I'm not gonna test her every way I ever learned?" Bobby says to him.
"So, what is it? Zombies, revenants?" Dean asks.
"Hell if I can tell. She's got no scars, no wounds, no reaction to salt, silver, holy water." He tells the three of them.
"Bobby she crawled out of her coffin" Dean says to him.
"No, she didn't. I cremated her" he tells them and they are taken back by this information, "Somehow, some way she's back" he goes on to say.
"That's impossible" Sam says to him.
"Tell me about it" Bobby says to him.
"Did you bury her ashes?" Calliope then asks.
"Yeah" he answers her.
"Where?" Dean asks him.
"The cemetery" Bobby replies, "That's where they all rose from" he then says.
"How many?" Dean asks.
"Fifteen, twenty" he reaches into his shirt pocket taking out a piece of paper, "I made a list" he says as he hands the paper to Sam who takes it.
"There's Karen, Clay. Sheriff Mills, her little boy came back" Bobby explains to them.
"And there were no signs? No omens?" Sam asks.
"Well, there were the lightning storms" he says to them, and they look at him frustrated.
"Bobby, that's what we said, what else was there?" Calliope then asks.
Bobby then rolls away from the table, grabbing a book on the nearby desk, and he opens it up to a page he had marked, "'And through the fire stood before a pale horse. And he that sat atop him carried a scythe. And I saw since he had risen they too shall rise...and from him and through him'' he closed the book looking over at the other three.
"So, what, Death is behind this?" Dean asks him.
"Death' death? Like, Grim Reaper, death?" Sam asks them.
"Yeah" Bobby says as he rolls back over to the table.
"Awesome" Dean says placing a hand on his face, rubbing it, "Another horseman. Must be Thursday" he says.
"Bobby, why would Death raise 15 people in a Podunk town like Sioux Falls?" Sam says as he gets up going over and picking up the book Bobby just had out.
"I don't know" he says shaking his head.
"You know, if Death is behind this, then whatever these things are...its not good." Dean says as he looks at Bobby, who knows where Dean is going with this, "You know what we have to do here" Dean adds.
"She doesn't remember anything, you know" Bobby then says to him.
"What do you mean?" Dean asks.
"Being possessed. Me killing her, her coming back" he explains.
"Bobby—" Calliope starts to say.
"No, no don't 'Bobby' me" he says to her, as they then hear Karen humming in the kitchen, "Just listen okay" he says to the three of them and they listen to her humming, "She hums when she cooks. She always used to hum when she cooked. Tone deaf as all hell" Bobby says to them as he gets emotional, "I never thought I would hear it again" he tells them and Calliope, Sam and Dean all share a sadden look with one another. "Look, just read Revelation. The dead rise during the Apocalypse. There's nothing in there that says that's bad. Hell, maybe it's the one good thing...that comes out of this whole bloody mess." Bobby says to the three of them.

"And what would you do if you were us?" Dean then asks him, and Bobby looks between all three of them.
He looks away, "I know what I'd do. And I know what you think you gotta do. But I'm begging you. Please" he says tears forming in his eyes, "Please. Leave her be" he pleads with them.
Calliope, Sam and Dean all sit on the stools at the diner, trying to make sense of what was going on in the town. "So, what do you two think?" Sam asks them,
"There's nothing to think about. We're not gonna leave Bobby at home with the bride of Frankenstein" Dean says to his brother.
"So what, should we just walk in there in front of Bobby and shoot her down?" Calliope asks Dean.
"If she decides that Bobby's face is the blue-plate special...I'd like to be there" he says looking at her before taking a sip of his coffee.
Sam sighs, "Fine, see what else we can find out" Sam suggests to them. The three of them get up from the stools as Dean tosses a bill on the table to pay for the coffees and they walk out. Calliope heads back to Bobby's so they can keep an eye on his wife, while Sam went off to get more information. Dean stops the car in the junkyard, and the two of them get out, "So, uh, we ever gonna talk about you know?" Dean asks her as they lean against the Impala.
"We will when we have the time Dean" she says to him.
"Are we ever gonna have the time or are we just going to keep avoiding it?" he asks her, and she just looks away starting at the house. Just then they get the sense that they aren't alone and look to see 'Karen' standing there, causing them to gasp in surprise.
"Opps, did I scare you?" she asks them.
"No, no, no. There's nothing scary about you at all" Dean quickly says to her.
"Feel like some lunch?" she then asks them.
"Uh, we're good thanks" Calliope says to her .
"Come on, there's more pie" she says to them.
"I don't think that Bobby wants us inside" Dean says to her.
"Guess it'll have to be our secret huh?" she smiles at them, "Come on" she then says as she starts to walk toward the house. Calliope and Dean share a quick glance with one another, and both take a deep breath as they follow her back inside the house.
Sitting in the kitchen area, Dean and Calliope politely take a plate with a slice of pie on it from her, and start to eat it. Looking around the room they notice that there is over a dozen pies set all around, as Karen closes the sliding doors to the other room, coming back in. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you like pies. Did you bake all of these?" Dean asks her.
"I don't know what it is. Since I got back I can't stop baking" she tells him.
"So do you have any time to sleep?" Calliope asks as she takes a bite of the delicious pie.
"I don't" 'Karen' tells her, "Must be the excitement" she adds.
"Or being dead" Dean says and Calliope gives him a hard look.
"I know you both don't trust me" 'Karen' then mentions to them.
"Why would you say that?" Dean asks.
"Come on Dean, that's why you're here, isn't it? Keeping an eye on me." She says this and turns to look at the two of them. "I know who you two are. Just like I know Bobby's not the same mild-mannered scrap dealer I married. You hunt things" she says this and Calliope looks away from her, "I'm a thing, I get it." She says to them.
"So you know that Sam, Dean and myself would never let anything happen to Bobby" Calliope says to her, "He's been like a father to three of us" she adds.
"I understand. And he's lucky to have you, Calliope, Dean" 'Karen' says to the two of them, "But your not the only ones" she goes on to say.
"Is that so?" Dean asks her.
She just looks at the two of them before going back to her ball of dough, "I remember everything, you know. When I died, that demon taking over my body. The things it made me do. And Bobby having no choice but to-"she pauses for a moment, "Well you both know what he did. I can see it in his eyes when he looks at me. The guilt, it weighs on him" she goes on to tell them.
"So, why don't you just tell him you remember?" Dean asks her.
"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you've never been in love" she says to Dean, and he looks at Calliope. "Or understand love yet. He's my husband, my job is to bring him peace, not pain" she says as she then turns back to her baking.
Later that night Sam informs Dean and Calliope about what he had discovered, and the three of them decide to confront Bobby about this new information. They follow him into the den, "Keep your damn voices down, Karen's upstairs" he tells the three of them.
"Oh, I'm sorry. We're a little tense right now. Who's old lady Jones?" Dean asks him.
"The first one to come up" Bobby answers him.
"First one to go bad" Sam says his arms crossed as he looks down at Bobby.
"Well, she was always a nutty broad" Bobby comments.
"Really nutty how, like maybe nutty in the way that she ate her husband's stomach? Was she always that nutty in her life?" Calliope says to him.
"No" he bluntly replies.
"Look, Bobby, I feel for you. But you've got to acknowledge you're not exactly seeing this straight." Dean says to him as he starts to wheel across the room.
"Admit it or not, these things are turning. We have to stop them, all of them." Sam tells him. Bobby then turns to face the three of them, and he takes gun out of the side of his chair and stares all three of them down.
"Time to go" he says to them.
"What?" Calliope says to him.
"You heard me, off my property" he says to them.
"Or what? You'll shoot?" Sam asks him.
"If Karen turns, I will handle it my way" Bobby tells them.
"Bobby this is too dangerous" Calliope says to him and he cocks his gun.
"I'm not telling you twice." He says to them, and they just look at Bobby before leaving the house.
The three of them get into the Impala, and Dean drives the car out of the junkyard, stopping as soon as he pulls out. "He's crazy" Dean says to Sam and Calliope.
"It's his wife, Dean" Calliope says to him.
"So he goes Full Metal Jacket on us? We're his family, Callie" he says to her.
"Look, man, bigger fish, okay?" Sam then says to him, "We got a bunch of Zombies about to turn this town into a giant chew toy" Sam tells his brother.
"Yeah, and he's alone making pie with one of them" Dean tells him.
"All right, so?" Sam says.
"So? I'm gonna have to go back there and kill her" Dean says and they both look at him, "That's the only thing I can think of" he adds.
"Dean, if Bobby sees you, you will be a dead man" Calliope says to him.
"Well, then I guess I won't let him see me" Dean says.
"All right, we'll head to town and rescue everyone, should be easy" Sam then says to Dean.
"Sounds like" Dean comments.
"We won't be able to just do it the two of us, what if you need to call for me to help you Dean. We are gonna need help" Calliope then says to him.
"What about the sheriff?" Dean suggests.
"Last time I checked, the Sheriff was pretty pro-zombie" Sam tells him.
"I guess you'll have to convince her" Dean says.
"How?" Sam asks.
"I don't know, you're just gonna" Dean says to him, "And I will be okay, you don't need to worry about me" Dean says as he looks at Calliope.
"Fine call for me if you need me though" she says to Dean.
"I will okay" he smiles at her, as he gets out of the car.
Sam and Calliope head to the Sheriff's house, going inside, they see Jody starting at her son, a shocked look on her face. Calliope runs up to the woman, "Go, you need to go now!" she shouts at the woman.
"No!" she cries, as Sam ushers her out of the house. "But my husband-" she tries to protest.
"Leave it, he's dead" Sam says to her, once they are outside.
"That was not my son" she cries to them.
"You're right, it wasn't'" Sam says to her.
"Sheriff you need to listen to us, your town is in danger. There are people who are in danger, and we need to help them now" Calliope says to her.
"Can you do that for us?" Sam asks her and the Sheriff shakes her head at them, "Can you focus for us, sheriff?" he says. She looks at them, crying trying to understand what was happening, "Sheriff?" Sam says.
She takes a few breathes before looking at them, "How do we put them down?" she then asks them.
"Headshot" Sam tells her.
She takes this in, still trying to process it, "We're gonna need weapons" she cries.
"We can start by rounding up everybody we can find. Where is there a safe place we can take people?" Sam asks her.
"Jail" Jody suggests to him.
"Okay" Calliope says as she looks back at the house, and so does Sam.
"Just uh,...give me a minute" Sam then says as he takes his gun out of his pocket. Jody touches his arm, and she knows what he is going to go do.
"I'll stay here" Calliope says to Sam, and he nods at her as he heads to the house. The two woman stand there as they wait a moment, and they hear the gunshot, and Jody closes her eyes and starts to cry. Calliope puts her arm around Jody, holding the woman close to her, as she grieves the loss of her son once again.
Sam, Calliope and Jody all head to the station, after gathering up the other residents of the town. Jody unlocks the gun cabinet, and starts to pass guns to Sam and Calliope, "All right if we hand you a gun and you see a dead person..I don't care if it's your friend, your neighbor or your wife" Sam tells the group as Calliope hands guns out, "You shoot for the head. It's the only way we survive" Sam goes on to tell them.
"Uhh, you mind telling us who the hell you two are?" one of the residents ask them.
"We're friends of Bobby Singer's" Calliope tells him.
"Town drunk" the man says.
"No, I thought he was the town drunk" Sam says looking at Digger.
"Who told you that?" the man asks.
"Bobby Singer" Sam says, "Stay sharp" Sam then says to the group, as he takes a gun from Jody, "We'll watch the front door" he tells her. Sam and Calliope head to the front door of the station, and look out the window. As they stand there, Calliope starts getting that odd feeling within her, and she looks at Sam. "You okay?" he asks her.
"I uhh, I think Bobby's calling out for me, I gotta go Sam" she says to him.
"We've got this be safe" he tells her.
"I will" she says as she closes her eyes, and opens them up again seeing that she is beside Bobby who's alone in the junkyard.
"Holy crap! Give me some warning next time" Bobby says to her, as she then hears clattering coming from nearby, and sees a man running toward them, Bobby lifts up his gun and shoots.
"Where's Dean?" Calliope asks him.
"He went that way" Bobby says to her, as they hear movement again, and this time Calliope lets off a shot. "Dean!" Bobby then calls out as more start running toward them, and each take a shot. Suddenly Bobby and Calliope are knocked down, as a zombie tries to attack them both, and a gunshot goes off. Looking up they see Dean standing there, "Little help here?" Bobby asks Dean. Dean and Calliope both help Bobby back into this chair.
"Guns" Dean then says.
"Yeah" Bobby replies, as Dean passes him a gun, and they start shooting.
"Am I glad to see you" Dean says to Calliope, "How did you get here?" he asks.
"I called her" Bobby says to him as they continue fighting off the zombies.
"Go..go.." she then says to the men as she covers them, and Dean pushes Bobby back toward the house. Getting inside, Calliope closes the door behind them, "You got anymore ammo? I'm low" Dean says to Bobby.
