(Season 5 x 14/15)
After everything that happened with Lucifer, Calliope decided that she would stay with Bobby for a bit. She had felt complete guilt over not being able to save Jo and Ellen, and thought it was her fault that they were no longer with them. Calliope had blamed herself for not being able to bring her abilities to the surface, and she hated that she knew what she could be capable of and not being able to do anything about it. Dean and Sam both tried to assure her that there was nothing she could have done, that wasn't to blame. As much as they kept telling her that she still felt guilt inside her, even Castiel tried to explain to her that Gabriel had created a way to keep all of her angelic grace away from her, and that was why she can only do a little of what other angels can. Before Dean and Sam decided to head off and work some cases, Dean pulled Calliope aside, taking her into one of the spare rooms.
"You going to be okay here?" he asks her.
"I have to be, being out there with Lucifer still free, can be too dangerous for me" she says to him.
"I wish you could stay with Sam and I, you know we would protect you" he says as he moves a stray piece of hair on her face.
"I don't want you worried about me out on the road, and mess anything up" she says to him.
"You know we haven't really talked about you know us" Dean then says to her.
"Now isn't really the time Dean. I mean there is something here between us, but we've got more important things to think about right now" she says to him.
"Yeah...you're right" he says to her. "Can I least do one thing before I hit the road" he says smiling at her, as he leans into Calliope, his lips grazing hers as they kiss.
It had been a month since Calliope had seen the boys, and she was keeping in touch with Dean every day. Today it had been at least a few hours since she had heard from either brother, and worry was growing in her. As she sat on the couch, she hears a noise coming from the front door, and looking up from her book she sees Dean coming inside without Sam. "Dean, where's Sam?" she asks him, and he doesn't say a word to her has he walks past Calliope. Calliope then hears shouting coming from the basement. She follows Dean down the stairs and sees Castiel standing outside the Panic Room, and she can hear Sam in the room. "Dean!! Dean!!!" she hears Sam shouting, and she looks at the angel and the Winchester, as they both have long faces. "Cass! If you're out there, please, help!" Sam shouts out.
"Calliope!!!" Sam shouts and Calliope steps forward, and Castiel stops her.
"That's not him in there" Castiel tells her, as she looks at Dean who was taking a swig from a whiskey bottle. "Not really" Castiel adds.
"Dean, help me!" Sam shouts again.
"I know" Dean says to the angel, as Sam continues to shout.
"Dean, Sam just has to get it out of his system, and then he'll—" Castiel says to Dean.
"Listen, I just—" Dean says as Sam shouts again.
"I just need to get some air" Dean says as he walks away. Calliope looks at Castiel, then at the back fo Dean who was walking up the stairs. She then follows Dean up the stairs and sees him going outside, and she follows. Calliope sees Dean walking toward his Impala, and he sets the whiskey bottle down.

"Please" Dean says looking up "I can't-" Dean says, "I need some help, Please" Calliope hears him crying. Slowly she walks up to Dean, and places her arms around him and holds him close to her, as Dean looks at her. Calliope reaches up and wipes the tears that were falling down Deans cheeks, "Hey...what happened?" she asks him concern in her voice.
"We..we uh had to go up against the horsemen Famine" he tells her.
"Oh God, Sam...Sam drank demon blood didn't he?" she asks him, a shocked look on her face, and Dean doesn't say a word as he leans his head down on her shoulder.
Calliope eventually gets Dean back inside the house, and she takes him to the spare room, and he sits on the bed. "We will get through this Dean. Sam only did what Famine was making him do. He would never have done that in any other situation" she tells him.
"I know, Callie, but I don't know if I can do this" he says to her.
"I know, that's why I am here. I will be here to help you both get through this, and I will help you take down the devil. I don't care how dangerous it is for me anymore, it's a risk I am going to take" she says as she places a hand on Deans face, turning it to look at her. "I don't care what happens to me, as long as we stop the devil from destroying the world" she tells him.
"I can't lose you and Sam Callie" he says to her.
"You won't Dean, I promise" she says as she then leans toward him and kisses him hard.
It had been a few weeks since they had locked Sam in the panic room, and he was finally 'dried out'. Calliope swore she was no longer going to be locked up too in Bobby's house, not wanting to hide anymore. She had left with Sam and Dean, knowing that if something were to happen they would need her now more than ever on their side. After working one case, Calliope got word of something strange happening right in Bobby's backyard of Sioux Falls. After trying to call Bobby numerous times and getting no answer they knew that they would have to look into it themselves.
"Bobby, listen....when you get this message, call, okay?" Sam says leaving yet another message for the old man.
"Is he still not home. How far could he get in that chair?" Dean comments as the three of them head for the diner.
"Think I should pop over there?" Calliope asks him.
"Not until we should be really worried" Dean says so her as they enter the diner.
"So, what do we do?" Sam asks them.
Dean then sees a man seated in the back of the diner, "Well, guess we just do it ourselves" he says to them as they make their way to the man.
"Mr. Wells, why don't you tell us what you saw in your words?" Dean asks him.
"Call me Digger" Mr. Wells says to Dean.
"Digger?" Dean asks him. "Who gave you that name?" Dean also asks.
"I did" Mr. Wells says.
"You gave yourself your own nickname? Can't do that" Dean comments.
"Who died and made you queen?" Wells says to Dean.
"Okay, umm why don't you just explains to us what you saw?" Calliope then asks him.
"I saw Clay Thompson...climb into Benny Sutton's trailer through the window. Couple minutes later, Clay walked out and Benny's dead" he explains to them.

"And uh" Dean takes a paper out of his pocket un folding it, "Is this the guy you saw?" he asks.
"He was all covered in mud, but yeah. That's Clay" he tells him.
"And you are aware that Clay Thompson died five years ago?" Sam then says.
"Yep" he says to them.
"And You're positive that it was this guy?" Dean asks showing the picture again.
"You calling me a liar" Wells says to him.
"No, no, no. Of course not" Sam quickly says, "Look, can you think of any reason why Clay Thompson...alive or dead, would wanna kill Benny Sutton?" Sam then asks.
Wells lightly laughs, "Hell, yeah. Well, five years ago, Benny's the one that killed Clay in the first place." He explains to them.
Dean looks at Calliope and Sam then back at Wells, "Is that a fact?" he asks.
"Well, yeah, so-called hunting accident. But if you ask me...Clay came back from the grave to get a little payback" he says to them.
"Go on" Dean tells him, and before he goes to say more, he sees someone enter the diner.
"Heads up, Fargo" he says to them.
"Digger" they then hear a woman's voice say and see her come to the table.
"Sheriff" he says to her, as she then sees the boys and Calliope.
"I'm Sheriff Jody Mills. I don't believe we've had the pleasure" she says to them.
"Agents Dorfman, Neidermeyer, Pepperidge, FBI" Dean tells her as they take their badges out to show her.
"Welcome to Sioux Falls, agents" she says to them, "Can I ask what you're doing with Digger?" she then asks.
"Oh, they're doing their job. They believe me, sheriff" he says looking at her.
"The FBI believes a dead man committed a murder?" she asks them.
"We are just asking a few questions, that is all Sheriff" Calliope says to the woman.
"Of course, if a dead man didn't commit the murder, then who did?" Dean then asks.
"What did you say your jurisdiction was?" Sheriff Mills suddenly asks, not liking the way Dean was talking.
"Our jurisdiction is wherever the United States government sends us" Dean retorts, and Calliope gives him a stern look.
"How about me and your supervisor chat about that?" she asks Dean.
"Of course" Sam says as he takes a card out of his pocket and passes it to her. She takes the card from Sam, and dials the number into her phone.
"Agent Willis, this is Sheriff Jody Mills—Bobby? Is this Bobby Singer" she then says into her phone, and Sam, Dean and Calliope all share a look with one another, realizing that they are about to get caught.
"Bull crap" the Sheriff says as she then hangs up her phone and looks at the three of them, "FBI, huh?" she asks them.
"So...uh, so you know Bobby Singer?" Sam says to her.
"This is a fun coincidence" Dean then says.
"Here's what I know about Bobby Singer. He's a menance around here, ass-full of drunk and disorderlies and mail fraud. You understanding me" she then says to them.
"I think we all can agree that you made yourself perfectly clear, yes" Dean then says.
"So whatever the four of you are planning, it ends here. Now" she says to all of them, "Ten-Four on that, agents?" she adds.
"Yeah" Dean says to her as she walks away from them.
The three hunters head to Bobby's home, not happy that he had been avoiding all their calls, "You know how many times we called?" Dean says to Bobby as they follow him into his living room. "Where have you been?" he asks.
"Playing murderball" Bobby says sarcastically, as Calliope looks at him and then looks around the house, noticing that Bobby had cleaned up.
"Bobby, what did you do around here? Did you clean?" Calliope then asks him.
"What are you, my mother?" he quickly says to her, "Bite me"
"Bobby, seriously" Sam comments.
"I've been working. Trying to find a way to stop the devil" Bobby says to them.
"Find anything?" Dean asks.
"What do you think?" he says to them.
"Bobby, there's a case that is less than five miles from here" Calliope says to him, as she leans against the nearby table.
"What, the Benny Sutton thing?" Bobby asks, "That's what this is about?"
"You knew about this?" Dean asks him.
"Hell, yes, I checked into it already. There's nothing here" Bobby says to them.
"Except a witness who saw a dead guy commit murder" Sam says to him.
"What witness? Digger Wells?" Bobby asks him.
"Yeah, so?" Dean then asks.
"So, he's a drunk" Bobby answers him.
"Okay, explain the lightning storms? They look like omens to me" Calliope says to Bobby.
"Except in February in South Dakota, in storm season. Guys, I thought it was something too. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" Bobby says to her.
"So who killed the guy?" Sam then asks him.
"Take your pick. This Benny Sutton guy was a grade-A son of a bitch. There's a list of the living a year long wouldn't mind putting a cap in his ass" Bobby goes on to say to Sam.
"So you're telling us nothing" Dean then says to him.
"Sorry, looks like you wasted a tank of gas on this one" Bobby then says to them.
After leaving Bobby's, Sam, Calliope and Dean headed off down the road, as night fell. Something about the way Bobby had been acting started to bother Calliope, and when Dean passed the graveyard, and pulled over she could tell it was bothering him too.
"What's up?" Sam then asks Dean, confused why he had pulled the car over.
"Isn't that the graveyard back there?" Dean asks him.
Sam looks, "Yeah, so what? Bobby already checked it out" Sam says to him.
"And, what Bobby's never wrong" Dean says to him.
"Come on Sam, we will just take a look, and if it is nothing we can get back on the road" Calliope says looking at him, giving him a sweet smile.
"Can't hurt" Dean says to him. Sam just sighs as the three of them then get out of the car, go to the trunk and take flashlights and a shovel out. Turning on their flashlights the three of them then start looking around at all the graves.
"Hey" Sam then says pointing to a grave, that read Clays name.
"That looks fresh to you?" Dean asks him.
"Yeah, actually" Sam says to him.
"Well get to work boys" Calliope says patting the boys on the back.
"Hey, it would go a lot a faster if you help too. Or you think you can you know just make the coffin appear?" Dean asks looking at her.
"No Dean, I already told you ever since we met that dick angel, my powers have been wonky" she tells him.
"It's fine Callie, just hold the flashlights" Sam says as he passes her his flashlight. Calliope holds them up and they get to work. After digging closer to the coffin, Dean jumps out of the hole, letting Sam do the rest. He hits the coffin, and wiping some of the dirt away, they see that the middle of the coffin is broken, as Sam then opens it up. Looking inside they see the coffin is empty, and Sam stands up looking at Calliope and Dean.
"What's going on here?" Sam asks them.
"I don't know, but something stinks" Dean says, as they then help Sam get out of the grave.
The three of them then take off, sneaking into the last known address of the supposed to be dead guy. They start looking around, trying not to make a sound when a man comes out of nowhere and goes to attack Dean, but Calliope manages to push him back.
"Don't shoot me, please. There's money in the safe" he says to them.
"We don't want your money" Dean tells him.
"What do you want? Anything, please" the man says as he tries to protect himself.
"You're Clay Thompson, right?" Sam says to the man.
He then starts to stand up, "Who are you?" he asks them.
"FBI" Sam quickly tells him.
"FBI? Oh, my God, this is about Benny" Clay says.
"What about Benny?" Dean asks.
"He killed me, he shot me in the back. I'm supposed to let him get away with that" Clay says to them.
"Wait a minute, are you...are you confessing?" Calliope asks him.
"Please, I'll go with you. Just don't wake my kids" Clay tells her.
"You'll go with us where?" Sam asks as they look at him confused.
"Jail" he says to them.
"Let me get this straight" Dean then says, "You're Clay Thompson and you died five years ago?" he asks.
"Yes" Clay answers.
"And three days ago you climbed out of your grave and you killed Benny Sutton?" Dean asks.
"Yes" Clay says.
"So you are, in fact, a dead guy" Dean comments.
"I guess, I..I don't know what I am" he says to them.
"Clay" they then hear a woman say and all turn to see a blonde standing on the bottom of a set of stairs, "I called 911" she tells Clay.
"It's okay, these men are the FBI. They're here about Benny" Clay tells his wife.
"Why don't you come with us Mr. Thompson. I think that'd be best" Dean says looking at Clay.
The four of them walk out of the house, as Dean takes his gun out of his jacket pocket, "Dean" Calliope says to him.
"He's a monster" Dean says to her.
"He's a soccer dad" Sam says to his brother.
"What do you two wanna do with him?" Dean asks them.
"Freeze!" They then hear a voice shout, as lights are shined on the three hunters. "Drop your guns" they see that it's Sheriff Mills, and she has her gun pointed at them.
"Whoa, Whoa, whoa, okay, All right, hey" Dean says to her, as he places his fun down, along with Calliope and Sam. "Remember the guy you said was dead and couldn't possibly commit murder? There he is" Dean says pointing at Clay.
"And?" the Sheriff questions.
"And?" Dean asks confused, "And you're welcome for catching the undead killer zombie" Dean tells her.
"Whatever he is or isn't, that don't give you the right to shoot him in the middle of the street" the Sheriff says as he and her other officers walk up to the three of them.
"Shoot me?" Clay asks.
"You're free to go Mr. Thompson" Sheriff Mills tells him.
"Free to go?" Dean asks confused by the situation.
"I can't believe you were gonna kill me" Clay shouts at them.
"You're a zombie" Dean tells him.
"I'm a taxpayer" Clay retorts, as Sam, Calliope and Dean look at one another trying to process what was going on as they are handcuffed and taken to the station.

Jack of All Trades, Master of All
Jack was reincarnated, again. This time, the omnipotent sphere had finally revealed to him that this new world was, in fact, the real one, and his soul had just returned to his body after two years of coma. During that span, the Earth or the magical world No.146, where he was The Grand Sage, was just a simulation experience. Jack inherited the System of Knowledge from his former self in the previous world. But gradually, he realized there were other Returners, holding other powerful Systems that they themself were also granted. The reason? The Omnipotent Sphere refused to give an answer. With the ever-burning desire to find his former friends and companions at World No.146 after their souls too were returned to this world, Jack began his journey. Ahead of him, five hundred years old as he technically was, there might be some surprises he still wasn’t prepared for. This is an original translated work. I’ve always wanted to challenge my writing skill and post on Royalroad a few times, but, as it turned out, I realized my own English capability still limited me. Therefore, I am currently working with a team of three, hence the name Triopals, consisting of me, the author, a translator, and an investor who really put his faith in this project. My translator and I will work together to deliver four chapters each week. Depending on the translating, editing, re-reading, checking, and re-reading-again process, the chapters will be uploaded each day or all at once. Careful as we may be, there can still be some errors at our best, so we welcome grammatical corrections, etc. We are very appreciative of your support.
