After finding better bandages, Calliope helps Ellen put them on Jo, "You're gonna be all right. You're gonna be all right" Ellen reassures her daughter. As Sam comes back over to them with a bowl, and other items for Ellen to try and heal her daughter. Calliope gets up and has to walk away, emotions running through her, knowing that she could have saved Jo. She takes a peek out the one window seeing the hellhounds waiting outside, wanting to get in. Looking over she see's the boys, talking, before Ellen calls Sam away. She walks over to Dean, and he looks at her, "You're not to blame Callie" he says to her.
"I saw the hellhounds Dean, I could have stopped it" she says as she feels tears swell. Dean puts his arms around Calliope, pulling her close to him.
"It's not your fault Callie, don't blame yourself, you are still coming into whatever it is that Gabriel has kept from you. Your powers are slowly surfacing, and it wasn't your fault, you were worried about me." He says to her.
"This is what I worried about, if we became something, worrying about one another more than who else is with us" Calliope says to him.
"We will get out of this, then figure us out" he says to her, as he pulls away, and starts to fiddle with the radio he had found on one of the shelves.
"What's that?" Calliope asks him.
"I'm hoping we can use this and get ahold of Bobby, "KC5 Fox Delta Oscar, come in" Dean says into the radio. He radios a few more times, as they wait for Bobby to respond to them.
"KC5 Fox Delta Oscar, go ahead" they hear Bobby's familiar voice saying.
"Bobby, it's Dean. We got problems" Dean tells him.
"It's okay, boy, that's why I'm here. Is everyone all right?" Bobby asks them.
"No, it's...it's Jo, Bobby, it's pretty bad" Dean tells him.
"Okay, copy that. So now we figure what we do next" Bobby says.
"Bobby, I don't think she's..." Dean says and Calliope just puts her hand on Dean's am.
"I said, what do we do next, Dean" Bobby says to them.
"Okay, right, right" Dean says trying not to think about Jo.
"Now, tell me what you got" Bobby says into the radio, and Dean goes on to tell Bobby everything that has happened since they arrived at the town.
"Before he went missing did Cass say how many reapers?" Bobby asks Dean, and he looks at Calliope.
"There could be hundreds here" Calliope says to him.
"I don't know, he said a lot of things, I guess. Does the number matter?" Dean asks.
"Devil's in the details, Dean" Bobby says to him.
"From what I can tell there might be hundreds" Calliope then says, as they see Ellen come over, and she nods at Dean.
"Bobby, it's Ellen" she says into the radio. "The way he was looking, number of places Castiel's eyes went, I'd say we're talking over a dozen reapers, probably more. Callie thinks there could be hundreds" Ellen tells him.
"I do not like the sound of that" Bobby responds to them.
"Nobody likes the sound of that, Bobby, but what does that sound like?" Dean asks him.
"It sounds like Death, son. I think Satan's in town to work a ritual. I think he's planning to unleash Death" Bobby informs them.
"You mean, like, as in this dude and taxes are the only sure thing?" Dean says.
"As in Death, the horseman, the pale rider in the flesh" Bobby says.

Calliope then places her hand on Dean's and takes the radio from him, "What do you mean unleash? I figured Death as always been here. I mean, hasn't Dean and Sam both died a few times" she says to Bobby.
"Not this guy. This is...this is Angel of Death, big daddy reaper. They keep this guy chained in a box 600 feet under. Last time they hauled him up, Noah was building a boat" Bobby says to them, "That's why the place is crawling with reapers. They're waiting on the bog boss to show." He adds.
Dean looks at Calliope, and she gives the radio back, "You have any other good news?" he asks.
"Well, in a manner of speaking. I've been researching Carthage since you've been gone, trying to suss out what the Devil might want there. What you just said drops the last piece of the puzzle in place. The Angel of Death must be brought into this world at midnight, through a place of awful carnage. Now back during the Civil War there was a battle in Carthage. A battle so intense, the soldiers called it the Battle of Hell Hole" Bobby tells them.
"Where'd the massacre go down?" Dean asks.
"On the land of William Jasper's farm" Bobby says to them.
Calliope walks away from Dean, and goes back over to Jo and Ellen, "I'm so sorry Jo" Calliope says as she sits down by the woman crying.
"It's okay, it's not your fault" Ellen says to her.
"I wish that my stupid powers would work properly. I mean I'm supposed to be part angel, I should be able to heal you" she cries.
"Hey..Hey, don't you beat yourself up girl. You just learned the truth not to long ago, we will get through this" Ellen says to her.
Calliope then gets up and goes over to the boys, "You think I can try and use my abilities to get Jo out of here" she asks them.
"Moving her like that could be dangerous" Sam says to her.
"Well we need to get her out somehow, she needs medical attention" she says to them.
"Stretcher" Dean then suggests.
"I can see what we got" Sam says.
"Stop..just stop" they then hear Jo saying, "Can we be realistic about this, please?" she says and they all go back toward her. "I can't move my legs. I can't be moved, my guts are being held in by an Ace bandage. We gotta—we gotta get our priorities straight here" she says and they all share a look between one another. "Number one, I'm not going anywhere" she says to them.
"Joanna Beth, you stop talking like that" Ellen says to her daughter.
"Mom...I can't fight, I can't walk, but I can do something. We've got propane, wiring, rock salt, iron nails, everything we need" Jo says to the group.
"Everything we need?" Sam asks her.
"A bomb, she wants to build a bomb, Sam" Calliope says as she realizes what Jo is saying.
"No, Jo, No" Dean says looking at her.
"You got another plan?" Jo says looking at him, and he doesn't say a word, "You got any other plan? Those are hellhounds out there, Dean. They've got all of our scents. Those bitches will never stop coming after you. We let the dogs in, you guys hit the roof...make a break for the building next over. I can wait here with my finger on the button. Rip those mutts a new one, or at least get you a few minutes head start anyway" Jo says to them all.

"No, I won't let you" Ellen cries at her daughter.
"This is why we're here, right? If I can get us a shot on the devil" Jo says as she looks at Dean, "Dean, we have to take it" she adds.
"No, that's not—"Ellen says looking at the boys and Calliope.
"Mom, this might literally be your last chance to treat me like an adult. You might wanna take it" Jo says smiling weakly at her mother. Ellen looks at her daughter sobbing, knowing that this is what Jo wants to do.
"You heard her" Ellen says, "Get to work".
Dean and Sam get to work going around gathering the items to make enough bombs to blow the whole joint up. Calliope stays beside Jo, as they watch the boys finish working, "Okay, this is it" Dean says as he hands Jo the switch.
"We'll see you on the other side" Dean says to Jo, "Probably sooner then later" he adds.
"Make it later" Jo says as she hands Dean a shotgun. Dean looks at her, and he takes a moment, before kissing Jo on the forehead. He then gets up to walk away to join Sam, and Callie looks at Jo.
"You take care of him. I'm glad one of us got the boy" Jo smiles at Callie.
Callie then hugs Jo, as she lets the tears roll down her cheeks, and the woman pull apart. Calliope stands up and goes to be with Dean and Sam. Dean holding her close to him, as they watch Ellen goes to her daughter. Ellen looks at her daughter not saying a word, as Jo looks at her mother, "Mom, no" Jo cries.
"Somebody's gotta let them in. And like you said, you're not moving. You got me, Jo, and you're right, this is important." Ellen says to her daughter.
"I can use my powers to let them in" Calliope then says.
"I will not leave my daughter here alone" Ellen says as she looks at her daughter.
"Dean, Callie" Sam says looking at the two of them.
"No, I am not letting you die Ellen" Calliope cries.
"Get going now, boys, Dean take her out of here" Ellen says.
"No" Calliope cries.
"I said go" Ellen says. Dean takes Calliope by the hand and starts to lead her out of the store, "And Dean" Ellen says, and Dean looks back at the woman, "Kick it in the ass. Don't miss" she says to him. The three of them look at Ellen and Jo, before starting to leave.
As Dean, Calliope and Sam get way from the hardware store, they get across the street and hear an explosion behind them. All three of them look back as seeing the store on fire, and Calliope cries out, Dean wraps his arms around her, pulling her back from the fire. "We gotta go, Callie" he tells her, as they follow Sam down the street. The three of them make their way toward the famers field Bobby had told them about. Hiding behind some dense trees they see the missing townspeople all standing in a row, watching as someone is digging, "I guess we know what happened to some of the townspeople" Dean says looking at Sam and Calliope.
"Okay" Sam says
"Okay" Dean then says.
"So any last words?" Calliope then asks the boys.
Dean looks at her, "I think I'm good" he smiles remembering the night before with her.
"Yeah, me too" Sam then adds.
"Well, just to let you guys know it's been a fun ride with you both" she says as she gives both boys a hug,
"Here goes nothing" Dean says as they all head off.
Dean and Calliope stay back as Sam goes ahead toward the devil, "Hey!" Sam shouts getting the devils attention, "You wanted to see me!"
"Well, Sam, you don't need that gun here" Lucifer says as he walks toward Sam. "You know I'd never hurt you. Not really" he says to him.
"Yeah" Dean says as steps forward holding the colt to Lucifer's head. "Well, I'd hurt you" he says cocking the gun, "So suck it" he says as he shoots Lucifer square in the head. They watch as he goes down, Dean looking over at Calliope who steps forward once the Devil was down. They both look at Sam, all surprised that it had actually worked, when suddenly they hear Lucifer gasp.
"Ow!" Lucifer says as he stands up, "Where did you get that?" he asks looking at Dean before hitting Dean, sending him flying and into a tree.
"Dean!" Calliope calls out, before turning to face the Devil, "how dare you hurt him" she says anger in her voice.
"Ohh...you must be the niece I keep hearing about, only your daddy isn't giving you all your powers" Lucifer smirks at her, before hitting her and sending her back toward Dean.
"Now, where were we?" she hears Lucifer saying to Sam, as she slowly gets up.
"Don't feel so bad, Sam. There's only five things in all of creation that, that gun can't kill...and I just happen to be one of them. But if you give me a minute, I'm almost done" Lucifer says as he goes back to his digging. Sam comes over to Calliope and Dean, helping Calliope get up, as they both check to see if Dean is still alive, and thankfully Calliope feels a pulse.
"You know, I don't suppose you'd just say yes right here and now? End this whole tiresome discussion. That's crazy, right?" Lucifer says to Sam.
"It's never gonna happen" Sam tells him.
"Oh, I don't know, Sam. I think it will. I think it'll happen soon. Within six months, and I think it'll happen in Detroit" Lucifer tells Sam as he continues digging.
"You listen to me, you son of a bitch. I'm gonna kill you myself, you understand me? I'm going to rip your heart out." Sam shouts at him.
"That's good, Sam. You keep fanning that fire in your belly. All that pent-up rage, I'm gonna need it." Lucifer tells him.
"What did....what did you do here to this town?" Calliope then says as she stands up beside Sam.
"I was very generous with this town. One demon for every able-bodied man" Lucifer tells her.
"What about the rest of them?" she asks.
"In there" he says pointing to the hole he was digging at, and both Sam and Calliope look at him in shock. "I know, it's awful, but these horsemen are so demanding. So it was women and children first" he tells them. "I know what you must think of me, Sam, Calliope, but I have to do this. I have to" Lucifer says looking at Sam, "You, of all people, should understand" he adds.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam asks him.
Lucifer tosses the shovel, "I was a son, a brother. Like you, a younger brother, and I had an older brother who I loved. Idolized, in fact. And one day, I went to him, and I begged him to stand with me. And Michael....Michael turned on me. Called me a freak, a monster. And then he beat me down....all because I was different....because I had a mind of my own. Tell me something, Sam. Any of this sound familiar" Lucifer says to Sam, and Calliope can see the emotion on Sam's face as he takes in what Lucifer is saying to him. "Anyway, you'll have to excuse me. Midnight is calling, and I have a ritual to finish. Don't go anywhere. Not that you could if you would" he tells them.
Sam and Calliope take a step back, "Should I try to get us out of here?" Calliope whispers to Sam, as they watch Lucifer chanting.
"No, we need to try and stop this" he says to her.
"Now repeat after me" they hear Lucifer say as he looks at the crowd, "We offer up our lives, blood, souls" he says to the crowd of demons.
"Ugh" they then hear Dean groan as he comes too.
"We offer up our lives, blood, souls" the demons say.
"To complete this tribute" Lucifer says.
"To complete this tribute" they repeat, they watch as one by one each demon dies.
Sam looks over at Lucifer, "What?" Lucifer says seeing the look on Sam's face, "They're just demons" he says to them. The three of them sit there as the ground begins to shake, Castiel suddenly appears, and telling them to be quiet. "Calliope touch Dean, you should be able to get out of here" he says to them. Calliope does so, as Castiel touches Sam, and the four of them disappear out of the field, before reappearing back at Bobby's.
Sam, Dean, Calliope and Bobby are all by his fireplace, as the tv is on in the background talking about disasters that are happening all over the country. Dean has his arm around Calliope, as they watch Bobby roll up to the fire, and he tosses the picture that they had taken the night before into the fire. They all stand there watching it burn, and Calliope turns her face into Dean's chest, and she can't keep the tears back. Dean gently rubs her back, as the four of them just stay there in silence.
