(Season 5 x 9)

Sam and Dean race to the location that Chuck had sent them, with Calliope tailing behind. Pulling up the park their cars and get out, taking off running toward the hotel when both Calliope and Dean stop for a moment, and see that there are three Impala's parked nearby that look exactly like Deans and a couple red mustangs. "Dean, Callie, come on" Sam calls out to them as they look at one another before following Sam. Getting closer, they see Chuck pacing back and forth and anxious look on his face, "Chuck there you are" Sam says as they come up to him.

"Guys and Callie?" he says surprised to see them.

"What's going on?" Dean asks him.

"Uh...nothing, you know, just—I'm just kind hanging" he says to them, "What are you guys doing here?" he then asks them.

"You told the three of us to come" Calliope tells him.

"Uh...No, I didn't" Chuck says clearly confused.

"Yes, you did, you texted Sam, with this exact address saying it was as I quote 'Life or death situation' is any of this ringing any kind of bells?" Calliope asks him.

"I didn't send Sam a text" Chuck says to her.

"The three of us drove all night to get here" Calliope says getting angry at him.

"I'm sorry. I don't understand what could—Oh, no" Chuck then says realizing something.

"What?" Dean asks him.

"Sam!" they then hear Becky shout, "You made it!" she calls out as she comes down the steps toward Sam.

"Oh, uh...Becky, right?" Sam says to her.

"Oh, you...you remembered" she says to him and both Calliope and Dean roll their eyes, "You've been thinking about me" she then says, and Calliope tries to hold in a laugh.

"I—" Sam starts to say as he looks at Calliope and Dean for a second.

"It's okay, I can't get you out of my head, either." Becky says continue to stare at Sam.

"Did you take my phone?" Chuck then asks her.

"I just borrowed it from your pants" Becky says looking at Chuck.

"Becky" Chuck says shaking his head.

"What?" she asks him, "They're gonna wanna see it" she says looking at the boys and Calliope.

"See what?" the boys say together.

"Oh, my God. I love it when they talk at the same time" Becky squeals in excitement.

"Hey, Chuck. Come on pal, it's showtime" a man comes out of the hotel saying.

Becky squeals in excitement, "Guys, and Callie, I'm sorry for everything" Chuck says to the, and the three of them share a confused look as they go and follow Becky and Chuck up the steps and inside the hotel.

Dean, Sam and Calliope enter the hotel, wondering what they were about to walk into, "Ha-ha-ha. Hey, Dean, looking good" a man walks by them with beer in his hands, wearing an outfit very similar to the one Dean was wearing at that exact moment.

"Who the hell are you?" Dean asks the man.

The man looks at Dean, "I'm Dean too, duh" the man says to them as he walks away. Dean looks at Sam and Calliope, trying to make sense of this when he sees someone walking behind Sam, and a concerned look forms on his face. Calliope and Sam both turn around to see a man in a scarecrow costume, and a hook in his hand. "Uh-oh, It's Sam and Dean. I'm in trouble now" the man dressed up says to the boys as he stops in front of them. "Have fun, you two, aah" he says as he pretends to attack Sam with the fake hook, before walking away.

"What?" Dean says as the three of them start looking around, seeing people dressed up as monsters that they have fought, and dressed every similar to the three of them. There are copies of the books that Chuck had written, and merchandise featuring the Impala, and other items of importance labeled on them. There are people dressed up as Bobby and other people that they have met in their travels and Calliope looks at the boy's confusion on their faces.

"Becky, what is this?" Sam asks her.

"It's awesome!" she says excitingly, "A Supernatural convention. The first ever" she says smiling at the three of them.

Sam, Calliope and Dean follow Becky into a nearby room, where there is a small crowd seated facing a stage. The man from earlier that had called out to Chuck walks up onto the stage, "Welcome to the first annual Supernatural convention. At 3:45 in the Magnolia Room we have the panel: Frightened Little Boy: The Secret Life of Dean. And at 4:30, there's The Homoerotic Subtext of Supernatural. Oh, and of course, the big hunt starts at 7 p.m. sharp" the man says to the crowd and the crowd all cheers. "Okay, but right now—right now, I'd like to introduce the man himself. The creator and the writer of the Supernatural books.... the one, the only Carver Edlund!" the man says this and the crowd all cheers as Chuck slowly walks on the stage. Calliope, Sam and Dean stare at Chuck, hard looks on their faces, clearly not impressed with what they were seeing.

Chuck walks up to the microphone, "Okay.... okay, good. This isn't nearly as awkward as I—Ahem. Dry mouth. Ahem" Chuck says as he looks for water, finding a table nearby with bottles on it picking one up and coming back to the mic. They watch as he starts to chug the water down, and they could clearly tell he was nervous. "Okay, uh.... ahem. So, I guess, questions?" he says and everyone in the room puts their hands up. "Uh, you" Chuck says pointing to a guy in the one row.

"Hey, Mr. Edlund. Big fan" the man says standing up, "Okay, I was just wondering.... where'd you come up with Sam and Dean in the first place? And what made you decide to add the new character of Calliope?" the man asks him.

"Oh, uh, yeah, I—" Chuck says as he looks at the back of the room at Calliope, Sam and Dean. "It just came to me, and I thought someone new would make for an interesting twist." Chuck tells him, and the man sits back down, as everyone raises their hands once more. "Okay, yeah, the hook man?" Chuck then says.

The man dressed in the Hook Man costume stands up, "Uh, ja, why in every fight scene, Sam and Dean are having their gun or knife knocked away by the bad guy? Why don't they keep it on some kind of bungee?" the man asks.

"I—yeah, I really don't know." Chuck says to him.

"Ja, follow up. Why can't Sam and Dean be telling Ruby is evil? I mean, she is clearly manipulating Sam in some kind of moral lapse, it's obvious, ja" the man says as Dean looks at Sam.

"Hey! If you don't like the books, don't read them, Fritz" Becky shouts at the man in anger, as she starts walking up to him.

"Okay, okay, just—Okay. It's okay, so—Next question" Chuck says as the man in the Hook Man costume sits back down. "Uh, yeah you" Chuck says pointing to another man dressed like Sam.

"Yeah, at the end of the last book, Dean goes to hell? So, what happens next? Does Calliope and Sam hook up, I mean we can all tell there was something with her and Dean?" the man asks, and the boys and Calliope all share a look at this question.

"Oh, well, there lies the announcement, actually. You're all gonna find out" Chuck says as he stares at the three in the back of the room. Thanks to a wealthy Scandinavian investor...we're gonna start publishing again." Chuck says this causing the audience to erupt in cheers and applause.

"Oh, hell no" Calliope remarks to Sam and Dean.

Sam, Dean and Calliope walk up to Chuck who was seating with Becky, "Oh, hi, Sam!" Becky says smiling at Sam.

"Excuse us" Dean says to her, "In case you haven't noticed our plates are kind of full, okay? Finding the Colt, hunting the Devil. We don't have time for this crap" Dean says anger in his voice.

"Hey, I didn't call you" Chuck says to him.

"He means the books, Chuck" Sam says to him.

"Why the hell are you publishing more books?" Calliope then says to him.

"Umm, for food and shelter" Chuck tells her.

"Who gave you the rights to our life story?" Dean then asks, anger rising in his voice.

"An archangel and I didn't want it" Chuck tells him.

"Deal's off, okay? No more books. Our lives are not for public consumption" Sam says to him.

"Uh, Becky...would you excuse us for just a second?" Chuck says looking at her.

"Uh-huh" she says to him, as Chuck gets up and the boys and Calliope follow him out of the room.

"You guys know what I do for a living?" Chuck asks them as they leave the room.

"Yeah, Chuck, we know" Sam says to him

"Could you tell me? Because I don't. I'm not a good writer" Chuck says to Sam, "I've got no marketable skills. I'm not some hero who can just hit the road and fight monsters, okay? Until the world ends, I gotta live, all right? The Supernatural books are all I've got. What else do you want me to do?" Chuck says to them when they hear a woman scream, and the three of them take off running toward the scream. Heading up a set of stairs they see a woman on the ground, "You okay?" Calliope asks her, as she helps the girl get up.

"I think so" the girl says to her.

"What happened?" Dean asks.

"I saw a ghost" she says to Dean.

"A ghost?" a man dressed like Sam comes up behind them asking.

"Excuse me?" Sam says.

"Ma'am could you tell us what it looked like?" the other man ask.

"Why don't you leave this to the grown-ups, pal" Dean then says to the group that had started to gather, a lot of them dressed like the brothers.

"A woman" the girl says, "She was in an old-fashioned dress, really old. Like a school marm or something" she explains.

"Did she say something to you?" another boy asks.

The girl in the maid outfit smiles, "Okay, gather close, everybody for a terrifying tale of terror" she says and that's when Sam, Dean and Calliope realize that this was just a game.

"I saw a ghost, none other than the ghost of Leticia Gore herself" the girl says, as the three real hunters walk away.

"Ohh, the LARPing started" Becky comes up to the three of them saying.

"The-What is that again?" Dean asks looking at Becky.

"Live Action Role Playing, it's a game, the convention puts it on" Becky smiles at them passing Sam a piece of paper.

He looks at it, "Dad's journal: Dear Sam and Dean, this hotel is haunted. You must hunt down the ghost. Interview witnesses, discover clues, and find the bones. First team to do so wins a $50 gift card to Sizzler, Love, Dad" Sam reads.

"You guys are so gonna win" Becky smiles at them.

Calliope, Dean and Sam lean against the bar as they watch the other guests dressed up like fake FBI, talk to a man pretending to be the owner of the hotel. "Well, yes, Agents Lennon, Starr, and McCartney as manager of this fine establishment I can assure you that it is indeed haunted. This building was once an orphanage, run by mean old Leticia Gore. One hundred years ago this very night. Miss Gore went insane and butchered four little boys before killing herself. Now folks say, that the souls of those poor little boys are trapped here and that the evil spirit of Miss Gore punishes them to this very day" they hear the man telling the group.

"Well, that's just about all the community theater I can take" Dean says to Calliope and Sam.

"Yeah, this cannot get any weirder" Sam says.

Just then the man they had seen earlier dressed like Dean walks by with his friend dressed as Sam, "Dad said—He said I may have to kill you" the fake Dean says.

"Kill me? What the hell does that mean?" the fake Sam says.

"I don't know" fake Dean says as the men walk away.

"I need a drink" both Sam and Dean say looking at one another.

"You just had to say it gets weirder" Calliope comments as the three of them head for the bar.

The three of them sit there having a drink, as a girl that Calliope assumes is supposed to be the so-called ghost comes up to the bar, typing away on her phone. Dean looks over at her, "How you doing?" he says to her.

"Busy" she quickly replies.

"Well, you sure look lovely tonight. Especially for a dead chick" Dean then says to her, and Calliope stifles a laugh at his attempt to flirt.

"Buddy, I have heard that like 17 times tonight, okay. And all from dudes wearing MacGyver jackets" the girl says as then looks up from her phone, and looks at Dean. She lets out a light laugh, "But you seem different" she adds.

"How so?" Dean asks her.

"Well, you don't seem scared of women" she says to him.

"Except for me" Calliope says earning a look from Dean.

"For the last time, I'm not making this up, okay?" then then hear a boy shouting from nearby. "She's upstairs, a real, live, dead ghost" he goes on to shout.

"Excuse me" Dean says to the girl, as Sam, Calliope and himself get up and walk over to the boy.

"I'm sure it was just one of the actors" his friend is telling him.

"Who beat the crap out of me and then vanished?" the boy asks.

"You saw something?" Sam walks up to him asking.

"Look, this isn't part of the game, jerk." The boy says to Sam. "Tim, I'm getting out of here, and you should do the same" the boy says to his friend as he walks away.

"Alex wait I—Hey come back" his friend shouts as he follows him.

"What do you boys think?" Calliope asks the brothers.

"I don't think that guy's a good enough actor to be acting" Dean says to her.

"Come on" she then says, and the boys follow her. Calliope heads to the main desk of the hotel, walking by another group LARPing.

"Excuse us sir, but do you mind if we can ask you a few questions" Calliope says to the hotel clerk.

"Listen, I don't have time to play Star Wars, miss. Go ask the guy in the ascot" he says to her.

Calliope looks at Dean, who takes money out of his pocket, "Actually, we really wanna talk to you" he says placing a bill down on the desk.

The hotel clerk laughs, "Okay, you guys are really into this" he says to the three of them.

"You have no idea" Sam says to him.

He takes the bill, "What do you wanna know?" he asks them

"All this stuff they're saying, place being haunted, Leticia Gore, Any truth to it?" Sam asks him.

"We generally don't like to publicize this to, you know, normal people, but yeah. 1909, this place was called Gore Orphanage. Miss Gore killed four boys with a butcher knife then offed herself" the man tells the three of them.

"Is tonight the actual anniversary?" Calliope then asks.

"Yep, guess your convention folk's want authenticity" he answers her.

"There been any sightings?" Sam then asks.

"Over the years. Yeah, a few maids have quit. Saying they heard the boys or saw them. A janitor even saw Miss Gore once" he tells him.

"Where did Miss Gore carve up the kids?" Dean then asks.

"Look, I don't want you stomping all over the joint. A lot of this place is off-limits to nerds" the hotel clerk says as Dean places a fifty-dollar bill down, and the clerk picks it up, "the attic" he says quietly to them.

The three of them head up to the attic, and Dean opens the access to it, "Ladies first" he smiles at Calliope.

"You just want to look at my butt as I crawl in there" she says as she takes the flashlight from him, and turns it on. Calliope then crawls through the attic access door, as Dean and Sam follow behind her. The three of them move their flashlights around as Sam takes the EMF reader out of his pocket and it starts going off.

"EMF's going nuts" he says to Dean and Calliope.

"Great" Dean comments, "We got a real ghost....and a bunch of dudes pretending to be us, poking at it" Dean says as they slowly move further in the attic.

"There's no possible way of this ending well" Calliope comments.

"You know what? Serves them right" Dean then says.

"Dean" Sam says to him.

"Well, I'm just saying" Dean remarks as the two of them continue to look around the room. After a few minutes of not finding anything, "My mommy loves me" they then hear a little boy say, and turning her flashlight she finds a boy seated in the corner of the attic. The boy is holding his head, were she can see blood coming from, "I said my mommy loves me" he says to her, as Sam and Dean come over.

"I'm sure she does" Sam says to the boy.

"My mommy loves me this much" he says to them as he moves his hands away from his head and they see his scalp gone, and bleeding before the boy disappears. The three of them look at one another before leaving the attic, Sam going to make a call to the local historian.

Calliope and Dean sit at one of the tables as Sam's on the phone getting as much info as he can about the hotel. As they watch him on the phone Calliope looks over to see Becky staring at Sam, totally infatuated with the younger Winchester brother. Calliope lets out a light chuckle as she watches Becky blow a kiss at Sam. "Oh, God that girl has got it bad" Calliope says to Dean, as Sam comes back over to them.

"So, that was the guy with the County Historical Society" he says to them.

"And?" Dean asks him.

"Not only did Leticia Gore butcher four boys, but one of them was her own son" Sam tells them.

"Her son?" Calliope asks him.

"Yeah, according to the police at the time, she scalped the poor kid" Sam says.

"Oh that's it, I'm gonna deep-dry this bitch, extra crispy" Dean says to them.

"Did he mention where she was buried?" Calliope asks Sam.

"Doesn't know" Sam tells her.

"Check it out, there's the orphanage, here's the carriage house, and right there, cemetery" they hear one of the LARP players saying.

"You think that's where Leticia's planted?" his friend asks him.

"It's worth a shot" the other one says, as Sam, Calliope and Dean get up walking over to the men.

Sam then goes to touch the map that they had been looking at, "Hey, Hey, Hey, you mind?" the one man says to Sam.

"It's real" Sam says, "A century old and he's right there is a cemetery on the grounds" Sam says looking at Dean and Calliope.

"Where did you get that?" Dean asks the men.

"It's called a game, pal. It ain't called charity" the one man says to Dean.

"All right, give me the map, Chuckles" Dean says to the man.

"You're the Chuckles, Chuckles. Besides Dean don't listen to nobody" the fake Dean says showing his fake gun.

"Dean, cool it" the fake Sam says.
