Dean, Sam and Calliope then spend who knows how long going through odd tv roles. One-point Sam and Dean had a very embarrassing tv moment for a Herpes medication that Sam really did not want to do. The next one was a comedy, where Sam and Calliope entered the motel room to find a woman in a bikini waiting for Dean. Sam and Calliope acted like they weren't surprised by that. Calliope walks over to the woman, "Sorry but you need to go, we have work to do" she goes to grab the woman by the arm, but the girl just stands there.
"We did do work" the girl says to Calliope as they walk past Dean, "In depth" the audience reacts to this.
"Of course, you did" Calliope then holds her hand out, making the door open with her powers, "Get out" she says as she practically shoves the girl out the door and the audience gasps at this. Calliope then slams the door shut, and turns around to look at Dean and Sam.
"How freaking long do we have to keep doing this?" She asks the brothers.
"I don't know, maybe forever" Sam mumbles to her and the audience laughs at this, "We might die in here" he adds and the audience laughs again.
"How is that funny? Vultures" Dean says t the audience.
Just then the door opens to the motel set, and Castiel comes barging in, and the audience cheers and applauds, "You okay?" Dean asks him.
"I don't have much time" he tells him as he walks toward the three of them.
"What happened?" Sam asks him.
"I got out" he tells them.
"From where?" Dean asks him.
"Listen to me, something is not right" Castiel tells him, "This thing is more powerful than it should be" he continues.
"You're talking about the Trickster?" Calliope then asks.
"If it's a Trickster" Castiel tells her.
"What do you mean?" Sam asks him, before Castiel can say anything he's tossed into the nearby set wall.
"Hello" the Trickster then says coming into the room, and the audience starts to cheer loud and applause, "Thank You" he says to the crowd. "Thank You, please, stop" he goes on, as Castiel gets up and now has tape across his mouth. "Hi, Castiel" the Trickster says looking at the angel as he then flicks his hand and Castiel disappears.
"You know him?" Sam asks.
"Where did you just send him?" Dean then asks.
"Relax, he'll live" he tells them, "Maybe" he adds as the audience.
"All right, you know what? I'm done with the monkey dance, okay?" Dean says walking toward the Trickster, "We get it" he says to him,
"Yeah? Get what, hotshot?" The Trickster says to him.
"Playing our roles, right? That's your game" Dean says angrily.
"That's half the game" he tells Dean.
"What's the other half?" Sam asks.
"Play your roles out there" he says to them.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dean asks him.
"You know, Sam, starring at Lucifer. Dean, starting as Michael. Your celebrity deathmatch. Play your roles" he tells the boys.
"You want us to say yes to those sons of bitches?" Sam asks.
"Hells, yeah, let's light this candle" The Trickster says enthusiastically.
"Those boys do that, the world is gonna end" Calliope then says.
"And whose fault is that?" The Trickster says looking at Sam , "Who popped Lucifer out of the box, hmm? Look it's started. You started it, it can't be stopped. So let's get it over with" he says to them.

"I can stop it" Calliope then says.
"No, kiddo, you won't cause I won't let you" he says to her.
"What's that suppose to mean?" she then asks him.
"You've got your own role to play, that isn't that at all" he then says to her.
"Heaven or Hell, which side are you on?" Dean then asks the Trickster.
"I'm not on either side" he tells Dean.
"Yeah, right, You're grabbing ankle for Michael or Lucifer, which one is it?" Dean then asks him.
The Trickster then scoffs at Dean, "You listen to me, you arrogant dick. I don't work for either of those SOBs believe me" he says to him.
"Mm, no you're somebody's bitch" Dean says to him.
The Trickster looks at Dean, anger on his face, as he grabs Dean and pins him up against the wall, "Don't you ever, ever presume to know what I am" he says to Dean. Calliope then goes to try and use her powers to move him off Dean, "Sorry Kiddo, that ain't going to work here" the Trickster smiles at her. After a few seconds he looks at Sam still pinning Dean against the wall, "Now, listen very closely. Here's what's gonna happen. You're gonna suck it up, accept your responsibilities....and play the roles that destiny has chosen for you" he tells them.
"And what if they don't" Calliope asks the Trickster.
"Then they'll stay in TV Land, forever. Three hundred channels and nothing's on" he says this and then snaps his fingers.
Suddenly, Sam, Dean and Calliope are in a park at night, standing outside a crime scene, all three are dressed in outfits resembling characters from CSI. "Oh, come on" Dean groans, seeing that they were in a new TV show.
"So, what do you think" one of the CSI techs ask them.
"What do I think? I think go screw yourself, that's what I think" Dean says to him, clearly pissed off.
"Uh, could you give us a sec, please? Thanks" Sam tells the guy, and he walks away.
"You gotta calm down" Sam tells his brother.
"Calm down? I am wearing sunglasses at night. You know who does that? No-talent douche bags. I hate this game. I hate that we're in a procedural cop show, wanna know why? Because I hate procedural cope shows. There's like 300 of them on television. They're all the freaking same, it's 'ooh plane crashed here' Oh, shut up" Dean continues complaining.
"Dean, shut up" Calliope says to him, as she then notices something with one of the 'actors'.
"What" he says to her.
"Look, both of you, the sweet tooth over there" she says taking her sunglasses off, pointing to the guy who had come over to them earlier.
"You think that's him?" he says to her.
"Both of you , follow my lead" she says as she then puts her sunglasses back on and starts walking toward the scene.
"You, uh—You okay?" the guy asks Dean.
"Yeah" he says.
"So, what do we got here?" Calliope then asks.
"Well aside from the ligature marks around his neck, he has what appears to be a roll of quarters jammed down his throat" he points out about the dead body they were standing beside.
"Well, I say.... Jackpot" Sam remarks.
"Mm" the tech chuckles.
"Also, there's a stab wound to the lower abdomen there" the tech points out to them. Dean then picks up a broken piece of wood nearby using it to look at the wound.
"Well, I say...no guts, no glory" Dean says as he puts his glasses back on and starts to walk around the body to the tech.

"Get that guy a...TUMs" Sam sarcastically says, making the tech laugh.
"Gutterball" Dean then says.
"Good one, guys" the tech says laughing, as Dean walks up to him, the tech then turns around to look at Dean, and Dean stabs him in the heart. They watch as the guy falls down, bleeding out, dying before their eyes. Nothing seems to be happening to them, as a man starts to laugh, turning around one of the cops changed into the Trickster.
"You go the wrong guy, idiot" he says to Dean.
"Did we really" Calliope says as she goes up behind him grabbing another broken piece of wood and stabbing him in the heart from behind.
The scene finally changed, and the three of them are back inside the warehouse that they had first entered when everything began.
The next day, Calliope and Dean were both sharing the sink in the motel bathroom brushing their teeth, "I'm worried, man. What that SOB did to Cass. You know, where is he?" Dean asks, as he steps out of the bathroom, "Sam?" he then says. Calliope steps out behind Dean, and she sees that Sam is gone too.
"Where did he go?" she asks Dean.
"I've got no idea" he says, and they both grab their jackets, Dean grabbing his cell phone to call his brother. He tries calling his brother, not getting any answer, "Sam, it's me" Dean says as him and Calliope get into the Impala. "Where the hell did you go?" he says as he then hangs up the phone.
"Dean? Callie?" they then hear Sam's voice, and both Calliope and Dean look around confused.
"Uh, Sam?" Calliope then says.
"Where are you?" Dean then asks.
"I don't know" Sam replies to them, when they look down at the radio area, "Oh, crap. I don't think we killed the Trickster" he says to them.
Dean and Callie drive down the road, finding it awkward that Sam was inside the car, "Okay, stake didn't work. So, what, this another trick?" Dean then asks Sam.
"I don't know" Sam replies.
"What if the Trickster isn't really a Trickster at all" Calliope then suggest.
"What do you mean?" Dean asks.
"Cass said that whatever this really is was too powerful to even be a Trickster" she says to him.
"Yeah, you notice the way he looked at Cass? Almost like he knew him" Dean says to her.
"And how pissed he got when you brought up Michael and Lucifer" Sam says from the radio.
"Son of a Bitch" Dean then says.
"What?" Calliope and Sam both ask.
"I think I know what we're dealing with, and Calliope you should have an idea too" he says to her.
Dean pulls the Impala up to a nearby park, and the two of them get out, as Dean opens the trunk, and starts rummaging around in it. "Dean" Sam then says.
"What?" he asks him.
"That, uh, feels really uncomfortable" Sam tells him, and Dean then slams the trunk shut, "Ow" Sam remarks.
"You sure this is gonna work, Dean" Calliope asks him.
"No, but I have no other ideas" Dean says to her as he stands in front of the Impala, and looks up, "All right, you son of a bitch! Uncle!" Dean shouts, "We'll do it!" he shouts up to the sky.
"Should I honk?" Sam then says.
"Wow, Sam, get a load of the rims on you" They then hear the Trickster say as he appears out of nowhere.
"Eat me" Sam says.
"Okay, boys, ready to go quietly?" The Trickster then asks.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, not so fast. Nobody's going anywhere until Sam has opposable thumbs" Dean tells him.
"What's the difference? Satan's gonna ride his ass one way or another" he says then he snaps his fingers, they hear the car door open and see Sam stepping out not looking too pleased. "Happy" the Trickster says.
"I wanna know one thing, why didn't the stake kill you?" Calliope then asks the Trickster.
"I am the Trickster" he replies to her.
"Or maybe you're not" Dean remarks, as Sam opens up a lighter, and tosses it to the ground, a ring of fire forms around the Trickster, "Maybe you've always been an angel" Dean says to him.
He looks around the ring of fire, then at Dean laughing, "Ha-ha-ha, A what?" the Trickster says to Dean, "Somebody slip a mickey in your power shake, kid?" he adds.
"I'll tell you what, you just jump out of the holy fire and we'll call it our mistake" Dean says to him. He stares at the three of them, realizing that they finally had gotten him. The scene changes in front of them and they are finally back in the warehouse in the real world.
The Trickster starts clapping, "Well played, boys, and girl" the Trickster says to them, "Where'd you get the holy oil?" he then asks.
"Well, you might say we pulled it out of Sam's ass" Dean says earning a look from Sam.
"Where'd I screw up?" the now angel asks.
"You didn't, but nobody gets the jump on Cass like you did, and how Calliope hasn't been able to use her angel powers in there" Sam tells him.
"Mostly, it was the way you talked about Armageddon" Dean says to him.
"Meaning?" he asks Dean.
"Well, call it personal experience. Nobody gets that angry unless they're talking about their own family" Dean tells him.
"So, which one are you? Grumpy, Sneezy or Douchey?" Sam says to him.
"Gabriel, okay? They call me Gabriel" he says to Sam.
"You're the archangel Gabriel?" Calliope asks him.
"Guilty, kiddo" he says to her.
"Okay, Gabriel, how does an archangel become a Trickster?" Dean then asks.
"My own private witness protection. I skipped out of heaven, had a face transplant, carved out my own little corner of the world, till you two screwed it all up, and worse of all you had to get her involved" he says pointing at Calliope.
"Why is this about me?" Calliope asks.
"Because when I made that little corner of the world, I might have gotten a little mischievous more than usual" he says to them.
"Wait, you're my real father?" Calliope then asks.
"Surprise" he smirks.
"Seriously" she says trying to believe it.
"Seriously" he replies.
"So, what happened, why'd you ditch upstairs?" Calliope then asks.
"Well, do you blame him? His brothers are heavy weight douche nozzles" Dean says and Gabriel looks at him.
"Shut your cake hole" Gabriel says to him, "You don't know anything about my family. I loved my father, my brothers. Loved them, but watching them turn on each other, tear at each other's throats. I couldn't bear it, okay. So I left, and now it's happening all over again" Gabriel tells them.
"Then why not help us stop it" Calliope says to him.
"It can't be stopped" he says looking at her.
"You wanna see the end of the world?" Dean asks.
"I want it to be over. I have to sit back and watch my own brothers kill each other, thanks to you two" he shouts at Dean and Sam, "Heaven, Hell, I don't care who wins. I just want it to be over" he continues.
"It doesn't have to be like that" Sam tells him, "There has to be some way to pull the plug" he adds.
Gabriel then laughs, "You do not know my family. What you guys call the apocalypse, I used to call Sunday dinner. That's why there's no stopping this, because this isn't about a war. It's about two brothers that loved each other and betrayed each other. You think you'd be able to relate" Gabriel says looking between Sam and Dean.
"What are you talking about?" Sam then asks, and Dean looks at him just as confused.
Gabriel then whistles, "You sorry sons of bitches. Why do you think you two are the vessels? Think about it. Michael, the big brother, loyal to an absent father" Gabriel says looking at Dean. "And Lucifer, the little brother rebellious of Daddy's plan. You were born to this, boys. It's your destiny, it was always you. As it is in heaven, so it must be on Earth. One brother has to kill the other" Gabriel tells them.
"What the hell are you saying?" Dean asks.
"Why do you think I've always taken such an interest in you? Besides the fact that my daughter has been following you around like a moron, no offence sweet pea" he says looking at Calliope.
"You have no right to call me that" she says to him.
"From the moment Dad flipped on the lights around here.... we knew it was all gonna end with you, always" Gabriel tells them.
Dean, Sam and Calliope share a look between one another, "No, that's not gonna happen" Dean then says.
"I'm sorry...but it is" Gabriel tells the three of them, "Guys, I wish this were a TV show, easy answers, endings wrapped up in a bow. But this is real, and it's gonna end bloody for all of us. That's just how it's gotta be" he tells them this, and they all have a look of concern on their faces. "So, boy's now what?" he then asks, "Stare at each other for the rest of eternity?" he says.
"First, you're gonna bring Cass back from wherever you stashed him" Dean orders him.
"Oh, am I?" Gabriel asks
"Oh, I think you will, or I might let these boys that I've been following around like a moron, dump you in holy oil, and deep fry themselves an archangel" Calliope says crossing her arms and staring him down.
