(Season 5 x 7)
After getting a call from Bobby about an odd situation, Calliope and the Winchesters headed to the town to go check it out. Walking into the room, they show the coroner there fake CDC badges and she looks at the three of them skeptical, "You expect me to believe you're CDC?" she asks them, and they all share a quick look.
"Excuse me?" Sam asks her.
"Just that you're a day early. First time in history I haven't sat on my ass waiting for you people" she says to them.
"New administration, a change you can believe in" Dean then says to her.
"Right" she says as she then walks over and opens the door pulling the body out to show them. "Meet Xavier, date of birth" April 3rd, 1984" she tells them and they look at her as the man lying on the table was clearly a lot older. "I know, I ran the DNA twice, that's definitely him" she explains.
"Well, he wasn't big on the sunscreen, huh?" Dean comments and both Calliope and Sam give him a look.
"So, what's your theory?" Sam then asks the woman.
"All I know is, decedent's make, 25 years old, and he died of old age" she says reading the file, as she then walks away. The three of them look at one another not sure how to really take this case in, and then leave the morgue.
Dean takes his cell out to call Bobby, "You were right about this one, it's definitely a job.... not, just the one body.... couple missing persons, usual for a town this size.... you think they're connected...you got it. And by the way, how are you doing?" Calliope and Sam hear Dean talking to Bobby as they continue down the hallway. "Yeah, you know, just in general" Dean asks, and a few seconds later, Dean looks at his phone, and puts it away.
The three of them go to speak to one of the people who had put in a missing person's report, sitting in the woman's home she passes the three of them a photo of her husband, "That's the most recent" she says to them, as Calliope passes the photo to Dean who then passes it to Sam.
"How long has he been missing?" Sam then asks.
"Oh, I knew right away when he didn't come home Tuesday night" she tells them.
"Is there someplace he likes to go?" Dean asks, "After work maybe? A favorite bar?" he goes on to ask.
"No, Tuesdays, he always works a bit late...but he always comes straight home" she tells Dean.
"Do you mind if I use your bathroom ma'am?" Calliope then asks the woman who nods then tells her where it was. Calliope gets up from the chair and heads down the hall and through the house, coming across what she sees as an office. She heads into the office, and begins to look around looking for any sign of the husband that was missing.
Finding a suit jacket on the back of the chair, she checks the pockets and finds a receipt for Madam Lin's Golden Palace, placing the receipt in her pocket, she heads back nodding her head at Sam and Dean indicating that she had something. They say good bye to the woman and leave the house, heading for their cars, she takes the receipt out of her pocket showing the boys.
"Working late, my ass" Dean remarks.
"Let's go check it out" Sam then says.
"First can we get out of these monkey suits" Calliope smiles at them as she goes to her car.

Once they are back into normal clothes the three of them head for the motel, very carefully getting the room information from the front clerk they head down the hallway. "At least he's consistent, same room every Tuesday, hourly rates" Sam says as they look for the room.
"Hope I got that kind of kick when I'm his age" Dean remarks.
"Yeah like either of us will live that long" Sam remarks.
"That's true" Calliope says as they come upon the room, "So, any idea what we are gonna find in there?" she asks the boys.
"Wrinkly, gooey, corpse" Dean says to her, and she sighs rolling her eyes at him. As they get closer to the door, Sam takes their lock picking tools out, and just as he is about to take one out, they hear screaming coming from inside.
Both brothers look at one another, then start to burst through the door, "Boys, wait" Calliope calls out realizing that they still don't know what they getting in to. She follows them in to see a young man lying in a bed, with two women beside him, clearly they were being intimate.
"Oh" Sam says, "it's gooey" he then says as the woman go to hide.
"We're sorry we've got the wrong room" Calliope apologizes.
"Close the door" the man shouts at them, and as they go to leave, Sam notices something.
"Hey" he says as he stops, "Nice tattoo" he adds looking at the mans' arm. "Happen to know anybody named Cliff Whitlow?" Sam then asks as he goes back into the room, and goes over to a table, looking through the man's things.
"Never heard of him" the man denies.
"That's weird...because you're carrying his wallet" Sam says to him. Calliope and Dean then come back into the room, and Dean goes over to the bed lifting the bedding, "Huh" he says as he puts it back, "Your wife told us about your birthmark there, that's nice" Dean says to him.
"Looking great, Cliff, get some work done" Calliope then asks.
"Can you give us some privacy?" Cliff then says to the woman who had been in his bed earlier, now dressed in robes. Dean looks over at the woman and winks at them, as Cliff grabs a nearby robe, and wraps it around his body. They then wait as he pays the woman, and watches them leave, "Please don't tell my wife" he says as soon as he closes the door.
"Slow down" Dean says to him.
"I'm begging you, as far as she knows, I'm dead. For the love of God let's keep it that way" he says to them.
"How can you possibly be Cliff Whitlow?" Dean then asks him.
"Ok well it's either you tell us, or we squeal to the missus" Calliope tells him crossing her arms in frustration.
"Okay! Okay, it was a game" Cliff says.
"Like Xbox?" Sam asks him.
"What's Xbox?" Cliff asks confused. "No, poker, high stakes. Instead of cash, you play for years" he tells them.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dean asks.
"Look I know it sounds crazy. Guy comes up to me at a bar, invites me to play. Gives me 25 of these weirdo poker chips, right. Chants some mumbo humbo over them, says now they're 25 years." He tells them this and Calliope, Dean and Sam look at one another confused as Cliff goes on to explain more, "I'm laughing, but then I come out up...and look at me" he says.
"What was he chanting?" Sam asks.

"How should I know? All I know is, my bad hip's good, I threw away my glasses...one of those ladies was here for free. Man's some kind of miracle worker" Cliff tells them.
"What does this miracle worker look like?" Dean asks.
"Just a guy. Maybe 35, brown hair, Irish accent. His name was Patrick" Cliff explains.
"All right where's' this game at?" Dean asks.
"Says he likes to keep moving, never stays I one bar long, he finds you" he tells Dean.
"Well, thanks Cliff" Calliope says as she nods at the boys and starts to head out of the room.
"Oh, uh,...stay classy" Dean says before following his brother and Calliope out of the motel room.
Once they leave the Motel Dean calls Bobby filling him in on what they had discovered, "That sounds crazy, right?...That would explain the crunchy corpse...There's a lot of dives in town, we'll have to split up" Dean then hangs up the phone. "Well I guess we are splitting up" Dean says looking at them.
"I guess we are, I'll go with Sam, check in after about an hour" she says to him.
Sam and Calliope start checking out some of the bars, asking around about any Irish guy names Patrick but keep coming up empty. After checking in with Dean who also still had nothing, he tells them to meet back at the motel in two hours if they hadn't got anything, and to pick up some dinner before they do. After a few more hours they had no luck, and after grabbing some take out, the two of them head back to the motel.
"Hey, Dean did you end up finding anything" Calliope asks as she closes the door and Sam puts the food down.
"Oh, you might say that" they then hear an elderly man say and Calliope and Sam look at one another as an older gentleman comes out of the bathroom with a robe on. Both Calliope and Sam draw their guns on him, "Who the hell are you?" Sam shouts at him.
"Dude, relax, it's me" he says to them and they both realize its Dean.
"Dean?" Calliope says to him.
"Hi" Older Dean says looking down.
"What the hell happened?" Sam asks.
"I-well you know I found the game" he says to Sam as he walks past them.
"You—I thought you said you were good at poker" Sam says as him and Calliope put their guns away.
"I am, shut up" Older Dean says as he goes over to the food Sam had bought. "So, you two were just gonna shoot some old guy? Is that it?" he says to them.
"We didn't know what you were. Have you seen you? You look like—" Sam says to his brother.
"The old chick in Titanic, I know, shut up" Dean says as he eats the burger and fries Sam had bought.
"I was gonna say Emperor Palpatine" Sam says and Calliope lightly chuckles at this.
Just then the motel door opens, and they see Bobby come rolling in, looking at Calliope and Sam then at the old Dean, "I see you met John McCain there" he says to them.
"Yeah, we have, either one of you wanna tell us what happened?" Calliope then asks.
"Bobby's an idiot, that's what happened" Dean tells them.
"Hey nobody asked you to play" Bobby says to him.
"Right, I should have just let you die" Dean argues with him.
"And for damn sure nobody asked you to lose" Bobby argues back at him.
Sam and Calliope can't help it but smile at them, "It's like Grumpy Old Men" Sam then says.
"Shut up, Sam" both Bobby and Dean say at the same time.
"What the hell were you thinking, he's a witch. He's been playing poker since guys wore tights" Dean shouts at him.
"You just don't get it" Bobby says to him.
"Yeah, I get it, Bobby. You saw a chance to turn the hands of the clock back, and get out of that damn chair. Pretty tempting, I can imagine" Dean says shaking his head.
"No, you can't" Bobby says.
"You got me, I never been paralyzed. But I'll tell you something, I've been to hell. And there's an archangel there wanting me to drop the soap" Dean says to Bobby, "Look at me, my junk's rustier than yours. You hear me bellyaching, huh?" he continues as they then hear Dean making odd noises.
"Actually, yeah" Sam says to him.
Dean then stands there looking at them, as he starts groaning, and he has to sit down, "I'm having a heart attack" he then says to them.
"No, you're not" Bobby tells him.
Dean looks at him, "What is it?" he then asks.
"Acid reflux. Guys your age can't digest certain foods. You're gonna need to put down that cheeseburger" Dean then looks at his cheeseburger, clearly not happy, "So you wanna keep emoting or you wanna talk about solving this little issue of yours?" Bobby asks him. "It's gotta be about the chips" Bobby says looking at Calliope and Sam.
"I slid them across, Patrick did his little witchy number and you prettied up in a hurry" Dean explains.
"So what are you thinking? The chips are magic or something?" Calliope asks as her and Sam sit down at the table.
"Defiantly" Bobby says to her.
"Remember what he chanted?" Sam then asks.
"Yep, every word" Bobby answers.
"All right, then let's find out where he stashes his chips" Sam says to them.
"And steal me 50, Benjamin Buttons me back into burger shape" Dean says, "What do you think?" he asks.
"I think you ought to put some clothes on" Bobby tells him.
Once Old Dean was dressed, they get ready to leave the motel room, when there's a knock on the door. Dean opens the door and a very attractive young woman stands there telling him she was housekeeping. Bobby, Calliope and Sam all watch as Dean tries to flirt with her, and isn't very successful. Leaving the Motel, the four of them get into the Impala as they head for the bar Dean and Bobby had met the witch at earlier in the night. Watching from afar they wait till he comes out, they see as he crosses the road, and suddenly gets hit by a car. As the man that hit him gets out, and starts freaking out they see Patrick get up off the ground then take off in the car that had just hit him moments ago. Dean makes a remark about liking this guy and the other three just stare at him.
Bobby then drives the car following the witch to wherever he was headed too. They watch as he enters a building and sit there and wait for him to come back out. Half an hour later Patrick comes back out, and gets in his car and takes off. They all look at one another, as the they then get out and head inside the building, Sam pushing Bobby in his wheelchair. Entering the building Bobby looks at the elevator, "Well, I'm out" he says as the elevator is down for maintence. "We got this" Calliope then says as her, Sam and Older Dean head for the stairwell.

The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets.
