(Season 5 x 6)

Calliope pulls up to the medical examiners building, and parks her car, reaching into the back she finds her suit jacket and tosses it on, as she grabs her fake FBI badge, then steps out. Sam and Dean get out of the Impala, and catch up to her as they go into the building, heading down toward the morgue. The three of them flip their badges open showing them to the medical examiner that was there, "Agents Jones, Page and Plant, FBI" Calliope tells the man.

"Ma'am, Gentleman what brings you by?" he asks them.

"We need to see Amber Greer's body" Sam says to him as they put their 'badges' away.

"Really? What for?" he asks.

"The police report said something clawed through her skull" Dean says to him.

"You didn't read the autopsy report that I e-mailed out this morning" he says.

"We've been having server issues" Calliope quickly lies, and he buys it as he walks away and they follow him. He goes over to the area that the bodies are kept in and opens one of the doors, sliding the body out. Pulling back the sheet that was covering the girls body the three of them see the side of her face clawed apart.

"When they brought her in, we thought she was attacked by a wolf or something" the coroner says.

"Or something" Dean remarks.

"But we were wrong" the coroner says to them, as he picks up a evidence bag showing them what looks like a press on nail.

"Is that-?" Sam starts to ask.

"It's a press-on nail" the corner explains, "We found it in her temporal lobe" he adds.

"Is that even possible?" Sam asks.

"She did this to herself?" Calliope then asks.

"Uh-huh, she scratched her brains out. It'd take hours and it'd hurt like hell, but, sure, it seems possible" the coroner explains.

"How?" Dean asks.

"Pick your acronym. OCD, PCP, it all spells crazy" the coroner says, as Dean lifts part of the sheet to look at the girls hand seeing the missing nail, "My guess? Some kind of phantom itch. I mean, an extreme case, but—" he continues.

"Phantom itch?" Sam asks.

"Yeah" the coroner says as he puts the sheet back over the girls body and puts her back. "All it takes is someone talking about an itch, or thinking about one, and suddenly you can't stop scratching" he tells them.

"Thanks, Doc" Sam then says to him, as he walks away. Sam, Dean and Calliope look at one another scratching at an odd itch.

The three of them then head to the house, that Amber had been babysitting at, talking to the parents who had found her. As Sam questioned the parents, Dean and Calliope start to take a look around the house, looking for anything that might be out of place. As they walk around they spot a young boy standing in the doorway of another room, "What are you looking at?" he asks them.

"Not really sure yet" Calliope says to him.

"It's uh Jimmy, right?" Dean asks they boy as they walk over to him, and he nods at them, "So Amber was your babysitter?" Dean then asks.

"Yes, sir" the kid replies.

"Yeah, most of my babysitters sucked. Especially Miss Chancey, she only cared about two things: Dynasty and bedtime" Dean says chuckling, and doesn't get a reaction from the boy.

"Jimmy, did you happen to see anything strange that night?" Calliope then asks him.

"No, Ma'am" he says, but she can tell he's keeping something back, "Are you absolutely sure?" she asks.

"I would tell you if I knew something, I promise. A hundred percent, cross my heart" the boys says.

"Well, Jimmy I happen to know you're lying" Dean then says to the boy.

"I'm not" Jimmy quickly says.

Dean then steps closer to the boy, placing a hand on his shoulder, and leaning down, "We gonna start talking truth, or are you, my partner and I gonna take a little trip downtown?" Dean says to the boy, and that seems to get through to him.

"Okay, okay" Jimmy says as he goes and gets something to show them.

"Really Dean, scaring a little kid into confession" Calliope says to him.

"Well, it worked didn't it" he smiles at her as the boy comes back with something, and tells them what he knew.

Calliope, Sam and Dean leave the house, as Dean shows Sam the itching powder Jimmy had given them, "Kid said he put this on the babysitter's hairbrush" Dean tells Sam.

"Dean, there's no way itching powder made that girl scratch her brains out. It's just ground-up maple seeds" Sam explains.

"You have any other theories I'm open to them" Dean says as Sam's phone starts ringing.

Taking it out of his pocket he answers, "Yeah....yeah we'll be right there" he says hanging up the phone, and looking at Calliope and Dean.

They arrive at the hospital and find the coroner standing outside a room, "What happened?" Sam asks.

"Guy got electrocuted" he explains.

"Any idea how?" Dean then asks.

"Maybe a loose wire or a piece of equipment shorted out. So far, we haven't found anything" the coroner explains.

"Were there any witnesses?" Calliope asks.

"Yeah, guy in there, Mr. Stanley. He says he saw it, but he's not making a lick of sense, senile" the coroner tells them.

"Thanks" Sam tells him, as the three of them step into the room, walking toward the man, "Umm Mr. Stanley" Sam says.

"It was just a joke. I didn't know it would really work" Mr. Stanley says to them.

"What would work?" Dean asks.

Mr. Stanley then looks over at them, "All I did was shake his hand" he says showing them the hand buzzer.

Once back at the motel, Dean gets welding gear on, as he holds the buzzer in one of his gloved hands, "You ready" he says looking over at Calliope and Sam who were standing far back.

"Hit it, Mr. Wizard" Sam tells him, as Sam and Calliope put their own goggles on. Dean then takes the buzzer to the ham roast he had sitting on the table, and they watch in shock as the buzzer cooks the ham. Dean stops, and lifts up the flab on his goggles, "That'll do, pig" he comments looking down. Sam and Calliope both take the glasses off they were wearing and walk over.

"What the hell?" Sam asks, "That crap isn't supposed to work" he comments.

"That thing doesn't even have batteries" Calliope says to them.

"So, what? Are we looking at cursed objects?" Sam asks.

"Maybe there's a witch in town" Dean says as he takes a knife out and starts to cut into the ham, taking a piece off and eating it. "Is there any link between the joy buzzer and the itching powder?" he then asks.

"Well one of them was made in China, while the other was made in Mexico, but they were both bought at the same store" Calliope explains as he continues to cut pieces off, and then tries to offer some to Calliope and Sam who both shake their head no.

Sam, Dean and Calliope then head into town, walking into the joke store where the items had been purchased from. Walking in the three of them start looking around, when Dean spots something on the one rack, "Sam, Callie" he says holding up a whoopee cushion to show them, smiling at his find. The two of them just give him a serious look, and walk away.

"Welcome to the Conjuraium, sanctum of magic and mystery" A man comes out from the back saying to them.

"You the owner?" Sam asks as him and Calliope walk over to the counter beside Dean.

"Yep" the man replies.

"Sold any itching powder or joy buzzers lately?" Dean asks.

"Yeah, grand total, one of each" the owner says, "They aren't exactly big-ticket items. Look you guys here to by something, or what?" he then asks and Dean holds up the whoopee cushion and takes some money out of his pocket and pays for it.

"So you get many customers?" Sam asks as the owner takes Dean's money.

He shrugs his shoulders, "Kids come in, they don't buy much, but they're more than happy to break stuff. These days, all they care about are iPhones and those kissing-vampire movies. The whole thing makes me just-"

"Angry?" Dean asks him.

He then nods, "Yeah, yeah I am angry. This shop has been my life for 20 years, and now it's wasting away to nothing" the owner says.

"Which is why you hate them" Dean then asks.

"I suppose" he says to Dean.

"You wish there was something you could do about it" Dean says.

"Yeah, I guess I do" the owner tells him.

"So you're taking revenge" Dean says taking a rubber chicken off a rack and placing it on the counter, "with this" he says as he uses the joy buzzer from earlier on the chicken, and it starts melting. The owner of the shop starts screaming, and backs away, looking completely scared by what he just saw.

"Uhh, I don't think this guy is some powerful witch" Calliope then says.

"Sorry, sorry" Dean then says and the three of them very quickly leave the store.

The next day, Sam, Calliope and Dean all head to the hospital as another weird incident had occurred over night. As Sam went and talked to the victim, Dean and Calliope stood outside the room, waiting for Sam to come back out. As they stood there, Calliope watches as Dean talks to a cute nurse that was nearby, and can immediately feel jealousy boiling inside. Calliope then takes the cup of coffee that was in her hand, and walks over toward the two of them, "Dean I think we have pressing matters to attend to" she says to him.

"I was just talking to Jen" he smiles at the nurse, Calliope then looks at the girl who was totally falling for Dean's charm and 'accidently' makes the coffee spill all over the nurse.

"Oh, I am so sorry, I am terribly clumsy. Maybe you should go clean that up" Calliope smirks at the nurse who looks pissed at her, and starts to walk away. Calliope watches the girl walk away to get cleaned up and using her powers makes the girl trip and fall.

"Calliope" Dean then says and she just looks at Dean shrugging her shoulders, and pretending she doesn't know what just happened. Sam then comes out of the room looking at the two of them, "What's up with Toothless? Cavity creeps get ahold of him" Dean then asks.

"Yeah, close" Sam says looking down at the note he took. "He wrote up a description" 5'10, 350 pounds, wings and a pink tutu. Said it was the tooth fairy" he tells them.

"So, he's obviously whacked out on painkillers" Dean says.

"Maybe, whatever it was got past locked doors and windows without triggering the alarm" Sam explains.

"Really the tooth fairy?" Calliope then asks not believing this theory at all.

"And it left 32 quarters underneath his pillow. One for each tooth" Sam tells them.

"Well, I will see your crazy and raise you some. A couple kids upstairs with stomach ulcers say they got it from mixing Pop Rocks and Coke. Another guy, his face froze that way" Dean then explains.

"What way?" Sam asks.

Dean then looks around, and makes a face at them, "He held it too long, and it stuck. They're flying in a plastic surgeon" he adds.

"Get that all from that stupid nurse" Calliope says and Dean gives her a look.

"So, I mean, if you add all that up...." Sam says trying to think, ignoring whatever was going on with Dean and Calliope, "I got nothing" he then says as they all have no idea what they are messing with.

The three of them then start to walk down the hall, "I thought sea-monkey's were real" Dean then says.

"They are, they're brine shrimp" Sam explains.

"No, no, no, I mean, like in the ads. Like the Sea-Monkey wife cooks the pot roast for the Sea-Monkey husband and the Sea-Monkey kids play with the dog in a Sea-Monkey castle, real. I mean I was 6, but I believed it" Dean explains to them.

"Okay" Sam says not sure where his brother was going with this.

"The point is, maybe that's the connection" Dean says and they stop walking, "The tooth fairy, the Pop Rocks and Coke, the joy buzzer that shocks you, they're all lies that kids believe" Dean goes on to say.

"And now somehow they are all coming true. So, whatever is doing this is able to reshape reality. It practically has the powers of a God or even a trickster" Calliope says to them.

"And the sense of humor of a 9-year-old" Dean says to her.

"Or you" Sam says to his brother, as they then leave the hospital.

Dean heads back to the motel while Sam and Calliope try and figure out what was the connection between the odd occurrences. Looking at a town map the two of them discovered that all the locations took place in a certain area of the town. They head back to the motel, walking in the door Sam looks at his brother, "Dude, seriously? Still with the ham?" Sam says to his brother as they both see Dean eating a sandwich from the ham he had roasted with the buzzer.

"We don't have a fridge" Dean explains to him, as Calliope closes the door.

"Well, we found something" Sam then says as he comes over to the table placing a map down in front of Dean. "Here" he then points to a location on the map, "Tooth fairy attack was here, Pope Rocks and Coke was here" he says pointing again.

"In these locations we have itching powder, face freeze and joy buzzer" Calliope then says pointing them out on the map, "all of them being located within a two-mile radius"

"So, we got a blast zone of weird, and inside, fantasy becomes reality" Dean says.

"Looks like" Sam agrees.

"And what's the A-Bomb in the center?" Dean then asks.

"Four acres of farmland and a house" Sam answers him.

"Our motel isn't in that circle, by any chance?" Dean then asks.

"Yeah, why?" Sam asks as Dean then very slowly raises his hand showing that hair had grown on it, and both Calliope and Sam look at him in disgust.

"Oh, dude, that's not what I think it is, is it?" Sam asks his brother.

"I got bored, that nurse was hot" Dean tells him feeling embarrassed.

"Your disgusting" Calliope sneers at him.

"You know you can go blind from that too" Sam says to him.

"Give me five minutes. We'll go check out that house" Dean says as he starts to head to the bathroom.

"Hey, do not use my razor" Sam then shouts at him, as Dean goes into the bathroom.

"God your brother is..ugh" Calliope remarks as she then gets her pant suit out one again.

Dean pulls the Impala up to the house that Sam had pointed out earlier, and the three of them step out. Going up to the house, they glance around as Sam starts to pick the lock on the door, when it opens. Standing in the doorway is a young boy, who looks at the three of them, "Can I help you?" he asks them.

"Hi, what's your name?" Sam then casually asks the boy.

"Who wants to know?" he asks.

"The, ahem, FBI" Dean says as the three of them take their badges out to show him.

"Let me see those" the boy says and Dean hands him his to look at, "So, what, you guys don't knock?" he then asks handing Dean the badge back.

"Are your parents home?" Dan then asks.

"They work" he tells him.

"Well, do you mind if we ask you a few questions, maybe take a look around the house?" Sam asks the boy.

"I don't know" he tells Sam.

Calliope then steps forward bending down to look at the boys, "Hey, you can trust us, you know we are the good guys" she says looking at him. He looks back at her, then up at the brothers, and shrugs his shoulders before allowing them to come into the house. The three of them then follow the boy to the kitchen, where they see him walking over to the stove and turning it off.

"What's that?" Sam then asks him.

"It's called soup, you heat it up and you eat it" the boy says as he pours the soup into a bowl placed on the small table in the room.

"Right, I know. It's just...I used to make my own dinner too, when I was a kid" Sam explains to him.

"Well, I'm not a kid" the young boys says to him.

"Right, No, I kow" Sam says, "I'm Robert by the way" he says holding his hand out for the boy to shake.

"Jesse" the young boy says to Sam.

"Jesse? Nice to meet you" Sam says to him.

Dean then walks over to the boy having noticed a drawing on the fridge, "Did you draw this?" he asks him.

"It's the tooth fairy" Jesse explains.

"That's what you think the tooth fairy looks like, huh?" Dean asks looking at the drawing.

"Yeah, my dad told me about him" Jess says.

"Huh?" Dean says looking over at Calliope and Sam.

"What didn't your Dad tell you about the tooth fairy?" Jesse asks him.

"My dad?" Dean says, "No, my dad told me different stories" Dean says putting the drawing down.

"Well, the tooth fairy isn't a story" Jess then says.

Calliope then looks at the brothers then at Jesse, "Jesse can you tell me what you know about itching powder?" she then asks.

"That stuff will make you scratch your brains out" he tells her.

"What about Pop Rocks and Coke?" she then asks.

"You mix them and you'll end up in the hospital, everyone knows that" he tells her. Dean then takes the joy buzzer out of his pocket, "You shouldn't have that" Jesse says looking scared.

"Why not?" Dean asks.

"It can electrocute you" Jesses says to him.

"Actually it can't, it's just a wind-up toy. It's totally harmless, doesn't even have batteries" Dean explains.

"So it can't shock you?" Jesse asks.

"Nope, not at all, I swear" Dean says to him.

"Oh, okay" Jesse says looking at the joy buzzer.

"All it does is shake in your hand. It's kinda lame" Dean tells him as he then takes the joy buzzer and uses it on Sam, "See" he says and this time the buzzer just makes a noise, and doesn't electrocute Sam. Sam looks at Dean, a pissed look on his face at what Dean just pulled. "What did you say your name was again?" Dean then asks Jesse.

The three of them then leave the house, "Dude what the hell?" Sam asks Dean.

"I had a hunch, after Calliope asked him about the itching powder, and I went with it" Dean tells him.

"You risked my ass on a hunch" Sam says mad at him.

"You're fine, besides now we know who's turning the town into Willy Wonka's worst nightmare" Dean says to them.

"The kid" Sam and Calliope say together, as the three of them stop walking.

"Everything Jesse believes comes true. He thinks the tooth fairy looks like Belushi, joy buzzers really shock people, boom that's what happens" Dean says.

"Yeah but convince him that joy buzzers don't actually work, and they go from killing machines back into crap toys" Sam says.

"Jesse probably has no idea that he is even doing it" Calliope adds as they look back at the house to see Jesse looking out the second floor bedroom window at them, and she gives him a light wave. As the three of them turn away to leave, "How is he doing it?" Dean asks them, as they head for the Impala and back to the motel.
