(Season 4 x 19)
Sam and Calliope were leaning against the Impala, Sam brushing his teeth as Calliope was putting her hair up in a pony tail. Dean was still lying across the front seat of the Impala, they hear him moving, and calliope grins as she opens the front door, nearly causing him to fall out of the car.
"So, how'd you sleep?" she asks Dean as he stumbles out of the car.
"How do you think? I'm starving, let's get breakfast" he says to her.
"Where? We're like two hours away from anything" Sam says to him.
"But I'm hungry now" he says to them as he goes around the front of the Impala.
"I think there's still a sandwich in the back" Calliope tells him. Dean turns around, rubbing his face before going and reaching in through the open window in the back, taking out a paper bag. He opens the bag, and smells it, leaning his head back he inhales the fresh air.
"Its tuna" he tells her. Just then they hear a phone ringing, and Dean puts the bag down before reaching into his pockets. Realizing it's not the phone on him, he leans in through the front window and starts looking through the glove box that they keep all their burner phones in. Dean takes the one that is ringing, and as he pulls himself out of the window he hits his head on the roof, and Calliope tries not to laugh.
Dean looks at the phone, "Isn't that Dad's phone?" Sam asks him, as Dean flips the phone open and presses a button.
"Hello....he can't come to the phone. Can I help you?....Well, sorry to be the one to break this to you, pal, but John died more than two years ago...Who is this?" Dean then looks over at Sam and Calliope, a confused look on his face.
After the confusing phone call Dean received they decided to meet this boy claiming to be their brother, Dean parks the car outside a cafe, as the three of them get out.
"Dean, look, the best I can tell, Adam Milligan is real" Sam tells his brother as Dean goes and opens the trunk, "Um, born September twenty-ninth, 1990 to Kate Milligan. No father listed on the birth certificate. He's an Eagle Scout" Sam tells him, as Dean starts to take an assortment of weapons, including the demon knife. "Graduated from high school with honours and currently goes to the University of Wisconsin-biology major, pre-med" Sam goes on to say as Dean closes the weapons box.
"Dean, did you hear a word your brother said?" Calliope says to him.
"This is a trap, Callie be prepared to use your mojo" he says to her as he closes the trunk and heads past the two of them, going inside the diner. The three of them enter the diner, taking a look around, before spotting a table at the back. They head for it and Dean takes one of the chairs putting it on the end of the table, leaving one on the other side alone, as Dean and Sam sit in the other two, leaving Calliope to sit in the chair at the end. Sam takes out their dad's journal and places it on the table along with the folder with the info on Adam inside.
"Dean, I'm telling you the kid checks out" Sam tells him.
"Great so he's an actual person on the planet Earth, sucks he's got a demon in him" Dean says as a waitress approaches their table with menus, and glasses of water, handing each of them a glass.

"Hi Welcome to Cousin Oliver's" she says to them.
"Thanks" Sam says to her.
"Can I-" "We're actually waiting on somebody" Dean interrupts her, and she looks at him annoyed before placing menus in front of each of them.
"Thank You" Sam says as she walks away from them.
Calliope picks up her menu to look at it before putting it back down watching as Dean dumps the water out of his glass into the nearby potted plant.
"What are you-"Sam starts to say as Dean takes a flask out unscrewing the top.
"Holy water" Sam asks him.
"Yep" Dean says as he puts the glass under the table and pours the holy water into it. "One sip of Jesus juice, this evil bitch is gonna be in a world of hurt" Dean says to them, as he waits for the waitress to walk past he places the glass back on the table in front of the other seat.
"And if he's not possessed Dean?" Calliope asks as he then takes a package out of his pocket.
"Then he is a shape shifter" Dean says to her as he opens the package to show silver cutlery, which he switches out with the cutlery that was already on the table, tossing the other cutlery to the floor.
"Hence the silver" Sam says to him, as he places their dad's journal on the table.
"Look, either way this thing is gonna bleed. I mean, using Dad as bait? That's the last mistake of its short, pitiful life" Dean says to him.
Sam frowns at his brother, "What?" Dean asks him, and Sam looks away for a moment.
"What?" Dean asks him again.
"Dean...listen there's an entry in Dad's journal" he tells Dean as he flips through the pages in the journal, "From January 1990, saying he's headed to Minnesota to check out a case. That's roughly, oh, about nine months before the kid was born" he tells him.
"Coincidence" Dean says to him.
"Coincidence, next two-pages of the journal-torn out" Sam says showing Dean the pages that had been ripped out.
"You're not actually buying this, are you?" Dean asks him.
"Look, man, I don't want to believe it either, I'm just saying it's possible" Sam says as he closes the journal.
"I mean, Dad would be gone for weeks at a time, and he wasn't exactly a monk" Sam says as he puts journal away. "I mean a hunter rolls into town, kills a monster, saves the girl...sometimes the girls grateful" Sam says to Dean.
"Well, now I'm thinking about Dad sex, stop talking" Dean tells him.
"Maybe he slipped one past the goalie" Sam says to him.
"Dude!" Dean says disgusted, and Calliope laughs at the boys.
Just then they hear the door chime as someone comes into the diner, they look up to see a young man enter, looking around for someone.
"Adam?" Sam calls out raising his hand, Adam sees him and comes over to the table.
"You Sam?" he asks him.
"Yeah, uh this is Dean, and Calliope" Sam tells him.
"Hey" Adam says as he puts his bag down and sits down in the chair.
"So, um...how did you know my dad?" he asks them.
"Uhh, we worked together" Sam tells him.
Adam looks at them confused, "How did he die?" he asks.
"On the job" Sam tells him.
"He was a mechanic, right?" he asks them.
"A car fell on him" Dean says bluntly.
The waitress came back over to the table, "Hey, Adam, how you doing?" she asks him as she goes to put the glass in front of him, Dean leans forward and takes the glass instead.

"Oh, I'll take that, I'm very thirsty" Dean says to them.
"The usual, Adam?" she then asks him.
"Uh, yeah, thanks Denise" Adam says as she then walks away. Adam then takes the glass in front of him with the Holy Water, taking a sip the three of them watch carefully as nothing happens.
"So, uh, when's the last time you saw John?" Sam asks him.
"I don't even know, it's...a couple years?" Adam answers him.
"So why did you decide to call him now after all these years?" Calliope asks him.
"I didn't know who else to call. He's the only family I got" he tells her, "My mom's missing" he then adds.
"Really? I'm sorry, uh for how long?" Sam asks.
"It's tragic, really. But if you're John's kid, how come we've never heard of you" Dean bluntly says.
"Cause John and I didn't really know each other. Not until a few years ago, anyway" Adam tells him.
"What do you mean?" Sam asks him.
"My mom never talked about him, I knew some stuff" Adam tells him.
"What kind of stuff?" Dean asks.
"My mom's a nurse, and Dad came into the ER, pretty torn up. Hunting accident or something, and I knew his name. John Winchester, that's about it. We're not exactly a nuclear family" He tells them.
"Yeah, well who is these days" Sam tells him.
"So, when did you finally meet John?" Calliope asks.
"When I was twelve, my mom had one of his old numbers and – and after I begged her-God, twenty-four-seven-she finally called him. God, when John heard he had a son, he raced to town, I mean he dropped everything, he drove all night" Adam tells her as the waitress comes back with the food Adam had ordered.
"There you go" she says to him.
"Thanks" Adam says as she then walks away.
"Well, that's heartwarming" Dean then says.
"You mind?" he asks them pointing to the food.
"Please dig in" Dean tells him as Adam takes the napkin from under the silverware, and places it on his lap. Calliope can hear Dean cocking the gun that he has under the table.
"He would swing by once a year or so" Adam then says as he picks the knife and fork up and once again nothing happens, indicting he is not a shape shifter.
"You know he called when he could, but still..." Adam says as he takes a bite, "He taught me poker; pool even bought me my first beer when I was fifteen. And uh...he showed me how to drive. Dad, he had this beautiful sixty-seven Impala" Adam goes on.
"Oh, this is crap, you know what, you're lying" Dean says getting pissed off.
"No, I'm not" Adam says to him.
"Uh yeah you are" Dean says getting frustrated.
"I'm sorry, but who the hell are you to call me a liar" Adam says anger in his voice.
"We're John Winchester's sons, that's who" Dean says indicating to Sam and himself. "We are his sons" he adds.
Adam stares at Dean for a moment, before looking at Sam, then back at Dean," I've got brothers, are you my sister" Adam says looking at Calliope.
"No...No...I am their friend" Calliope tells him.
"You don't have brothers. Look, man, I don't know if you're a hunter or what kind of game you're playing here" Dean says to him.
"I have never been hunting in my life" Adam tells him.
"Whatever, I'm out of here, come on Sam, Callie" Dean says as he gets up and starts to leave.
"I can prove it" Adam says getting Dean's attention
Dean, Calliope, and Sam follow Adam back to his house, where he takes them inside, and shows them a picture of Adam with a man, that Calliope now knew as John Winchester.
"He took you to a baseball game?" Dean asks him.
"Yeah, when I turned fourteen, Dad was around for a few of my birthdays" Adam tells him.
Sam opens his Dad's journal turning some of the pages, "September twenty-ninth, two thousand and four. One words 'Minnesota'" he reads out to them.
"He took you to a freakin' baseball game?" Dean asks him.
"Yeah" Adam says as he takes the picture back from Dean, "Why? What'd Dad do with you on your birthday?" he asks him.
"Oh..." Dean says.
"Adam, you mentioned that you called because your moms missing" Calliope says to him.
"Yeah" he says to her.
"How long as she been gone" Sam asks him.
"Three days" He tells him.
"And who was the last person to see your mom?" Calliope asks.
"Mr. Abbinanti, our neighbour. He saw he comes home Tuesday night, but she never showed up to work on Wednesday" Adam tells her.
"Did you call the police?" Sam asks him.
"Mom's supervisor at the hospital did, and then I drove down here as fast as I could" he tells him, "I should have been here" he adds.
"What'd the, uh, what'd the cops say?" Dean asks him.
"That they, uh, searched the house, they didn't find anything" he tells him. "She wouldn't leave without telling anybody. It's like she just dropped off the face of the earth, you know" he says to them.
"Do you mind if we look around?" Calliope asks, "I umm...I'm an officer in Sioux Falls, Dean and I are kinda a thing, that's why I am here with them" she lies to him.
"Uhh, yeah sure" he tells them.
"Sam you mind calling the local station see what they can tell you about his mom's case, and if there is anything else going on that might connect. Adam, where's your moms room" she asks.
"This way" he says as he leaves the room and heads to his moms room.
"You and I are a thing eh?" Dean smiles at her.
"Whatever works" she smiles back at him as they follow Adam.
They enter the bedroom, and start to look around; Dean moves the dresser but finds nothing behind it. Calliope looks at the pictures on the dresser, seeing one of Adam's mom with John and a young Adam, and another with his mom and a toddler Adam. The two of them hear the floorboard creak behind them and turn to see Adam standing in the doorway.
"The nightstand was knocked over, was there anything else?" Dean asks him.
"Well, not really, the sheriff said there's no sign of a break-in" he tells him.
"What, do you two think the cops missed something?" he then asks.
"Possibly, they don't have our eyes" Calliope says to him.
"You're a mechanic" Adam then says to Dean.
"Yeah, that's right" Dean lies to him.
"Dean, what else can you tell me about Dad?" Adam then asks.
"You knew him" Dean says to him.
"Not as well as you" Adam says to him.
"Trust me, kid, you don't wanna know" Dean says as Sam comes to the door, with some papers in his hand.
"Umm give us a minute Adam" Calliope says as her and Dean leave the room.
"So what did the cops say?" Calliope asks Sam.
"Like, Adam said, no leads on his mom" he tells her.
"Shocker there" Dean says.
"But I did find this" Sam says as he goes through the papers in his hands, showing them an article that he found. 'Missing Bodies Found" the headline reads, 'Seventeen bodies recovered from abandoned shed' the subtitle reads.
"Um...here. In nineteen ninety there was seventeen grave robberies in Windom" Sam says to them.
"You think that's why Dad came through here?" Dean asks his brother.
"I'd say so, check it out" Sam says as he shows the picture that is on the article, and they take a closer look, where Dean sees his father in the background.
"All right, so he was hunting something. What?" Dean asks hm.
"No idea, those were the pages he threw out of the journal. But last month the corpse snatching started up again. Three bodies from the local cemetery" Sam tells them.
"So whatever he was after, he didn't kill it, its back" Dean says to him.
"And, what, it's stepped up its game to fresh meat? I mean, Kate's missing, and, uh-"Sam pulls out the next paper, showing them a photo of a man. "So is a local bartender- a guy names Joe Barton" Sam tells them.
Dean takes the paper and heads back into the bedroom, "Hey does your mom know Joe Barton?" Dean asks Adam.
"Uh, I don't think so, why?" Adam says to him. Dean looks back as Sam and Calliope, before looking back at Adam, when he notices scratches on the floor by Adam's feet. He moves closer to them, bending down to investigate. "What is it?" Adam asks him.
"Watch out" Dean tells him and Adam moves off the bed. Dean flips up the edge of the comforter, and looks under the bed, before standing back up. "Give me a hand with the mattress" he says to Adam. Dean moves the pillows off the bed, as Adam helps him move the mattress off the bed frame. They notice a large vent under the bed. Sam and Calliope both look at it, and Dean looks at them.
"Nope, you two decide" Calliope says to the boys. They both raise their hands and play rock-paper-scissors, Sam picking rock, and Dean picking scissors. Sam smirks at his brother, and Dean waves his arms, frustrated, as he puts his hands on his hips, "Every time" he says.
They get the vent cover off, and Calliope hands Dean a flashlight, giving him a weak smile as he takes it grudgingly. Dean turns the flashlight on, and then slowly makes his way inside the vent. Crawling inside Dean looks around, "Why didn't I throw paper?" he mumbles to himself as he continues on. As he crawls through he sees blood stains on the side of the walls of the vent, he comes to a junction, and he takes his pistol out, pointing it ahead of himself, as he points the flashlight around one of the corners of the vent, when he discovers a large amount of blood, and what looks like flesh and bones. Quickly coming back out of the vent, Dean looks at Sam and Calliope and they both know what he found isn't good.
At the motel, Sam and Calliope are looking into the recent grave robberies trying to solve what they are dealing with, while Dean is cleaning his shotgun, when there is knocking on the motel door. Sam gets up and opens the door, and Adam comes barging in.
"Who the hell are you?" he asks them.
"Adam, hey" Sam says to him, as Dean puts a cloth over the shotgun hiding it, and Sam closes the door, "Take it easy" he says to him.
"No, don't tell me to take it easy, okay? My house is a crime scene, my mom's probably dead, and you three-well you tell me to call the cops, but you got to bail before they show? So who are you really, because I thought she was a cop?" Adam says looking at Calliope. The three of them look at one another, unsure what to say to him, "Cops didn't know where to look for my mom, Dean, but you did. And I heard you talking earlier-something about grave robberies" Adam goes on to say, as he then spots the shotgun pointing out from under the cloth, "You're not mechanics, and she's not an actual cop, I just want to know what's going on" he says to them, "Please"
"We're hunters" Sam then says to him.
"Sammy!" Dean yells at his brother.
"He deserves to know, Dean" Sam says to him.
"What do you mean hunters?" Adam asks them.
"Sammy's right Dean, you need to tell him the truth" Calliope tells him.
"Fine, fine" Dean agrees and they all sit down to tell Adam the truth about who they are and what they do.

DOES it even exist? As such, the legend of this seemingly magical stone entered the realm of being termed as myth. Anybody stating their dream was to find the Stone of Eclipse would be branded as a laughing stock.
