Calliope, Sam and Dean sit in Chuck's living room , as he contacted them, saying he's got something to tell them. He is pacing around as he looks at the three of them, pages in his hand, as he tries to work up the courage to tell them what he needs to,

"So....you wrote another chapter?" Sam asks him.

"This was all so much easier before you were real" he says to them.

"Okay...Chuck just tell us, whatever it is they can take it" Calliope tells him.

"You especially are not going to like this" Chuck says looking at Dean.

"I didn't like hell" Dean tells him.

"It's Lilith, she's coming for Sam" he tells them.

"Coming to kill him?" Dean asks him.

"When?" Sam asks him ignoring Dean's question.

"Tonight" Chuck tells Sam.

"So what is she just going to show up here?" Calliope asks.

Chuck then sits down, putting his glasses on, "Uh..let's see, uh" he then reads from the manuscript, "'Lilith patted the bed seductively. Unable to deny his desire, Sam succumbed, and they sank into the throes of fiery demonic passion'"

Sam starts to laugh, "You're kidding me, right" he says.

"You think this is funny" Dean says to him.

"You don't? I mean, come on, 'Fiery demonic passion'" Sam says to his brother.

"It's just a first draft" Chuck remarks.

"Wait, isn't Lilith a little girl?" Calliope asks remembering the last time they encountered her.

"No, uh, this time she's a 'comely dental hygienist from Bloomington, Indiana" Chuck tells her.

"Great, perfect, so what happens after the...'Fiery demonic' whatever?" Dean then asks.

"I don't know, it hasn't come to me yet" Chuck tells him.

"Dean, look there's nothing to worry about, Lilith and me? In bed?" Sam says to him.

Dean glares at his brother, "How does this whole psychic thing of yours work?" he asks Chuck.

"You mean my process?" Chuck asks.

"Yes, your 'process'" Dean clarifies.

"Well, it usually starts with a headache, a really bad headache. Aspirin is useless, so..I drink, until I fall asleep. The first time it happened, I thought it was just a crazy dream" Chuck tells him.

"The first time you dreamt about us?" Dean asks.

"It flowed, it kept flowing, it still does. I-I can't stop it, really" Chuck says.

"You can't seriously believe-" Sam says.

"Humour me" Dean remarks as he then stands up, "Look, why don't we, we just..", Chuck holds up the manuscript toward Dean, and Dean takes it, "take a look at these and see what's what" Dean then looks at Chuck, "You"

"Knew you were gonna ask for that, yeah" Chuck says to him.

Dean, Sam and Calliope are in the Impala, with Dean driving, as Sam is reading the manuscript, "Dean, come on, 'The minivan accident wasn't that bad, as Calliope had saved Dean, but Dean was still seeing stars. He scratched absently at the pink flower band-aids on his face, and Calliope couldn't help but laugh'" Sam reads.

"At least now I'm in them" Calliope says to them.

"So?" Dean then asks.

"So, we've seen you gushing blood. You'd use duct tape and bar rags before you'd put on a pink flower Band-Aid" Sam tells his brother.

"What's your point?" Dean asks him.

"My point is this-all of this-is totally implausible, it's nuts" Sam tells him.

"He's been right about everything so far. You think he's just gonna ground out at first now?" Dean says to him.

Sam scoffs at his brother, "Huh, 'Dean slid behind the wheel of his beloved Impala, with Calliope sliding in beside him, as he drove off, the plastic tarp on the rear window flapping like the wings of a crow" he reads to them.

"A tarp?" Dean asks.

"Yeah, on the rear window, and you drive it like that" Sam tells him.

"Well, he might be wrong about the details, but doesn't mean he's wrong about the end result" Dean says to Sam.

"So, what are we just gonna leave town" Calliope says to Dean.

"Callie, we are a long way from ready for a face-to-face death match with Lilith" he says as they pull up to a roadblock. Dean rolls his window down, as a deputy leans over to talk to Dean.

"What seems to be the problem?" Dean asks.

"Bridge is out ahead" the Deputy tells him.

"We're just trying to get out of town" Dean tells him.

"Yeah, afraid not" the Deputy says.

"Is there any possible detour?" Calliope then asks.

"Nope" he answers her.

"There's not a side road that takes us to the highway?" Dean then asks.

"To get to the highway, you have to cross that river. To cross the river, you have to take that bridge" he explains to Dean.

"How deep's the river?" Dean asks desperation in his voice to get out of this town.

"Sorry, afraid you boys and the lady are gonna have to spend the night in town" the deputy says.

"Great...just great" Dean says as he turns the Impala around and heads back to town.

Dean, Calliope and Sam are seated at a table in a local diner, as Dean reads over the manuscript, and Sam and Calliope look at the menus. "Hey, this could be a good thing, I mean, if this is what puts on the path to Lilith, then all we got to do is get off the path " Dean tells them.

"What do you mean?" Calliope asks.

"It's a blueprint of what not to do, I mean, if the pages say that we go left-" Dean says.

"Then we go right" Sam finishes for him.

"Exactly, we get off-book. We never make it to the end, it's opposite day. It says that we, uh, we get into a fight, so no fighting,no research for you..." Dean mentions to Sam.

"No bacon cheeseburger for you" Sam tells him.

"Yeah no problem, I'll just order something else" he tells him as the waitress comes over. "Hi, uh what's good" he asks the waitress.

"Well, if you like burgers, Oprah's girlfriend said we have the best bacon cheeseburgers in the country" she tells Dean and both Calliope and Sam laugh.

"Really?" Dean says.

"I'll just have the cob salad, thanks" Sam tells her.

"Can I get the chicken wrap, thank –you" Calliope tells her.

"I'll have the...veggie tofu burger, thanks" Dean then says and she takes their menus, walking away.

"This whole thing's ridiculous" Sam tells his brother.

"Lilith is ridiculous?" Dean asks

"The idea of me hooking up with her is, that's like you and Calliope hooking up" Sam says.

"Right, cause something like that can never happen" Dean remarks.

"Umm, we are not hooking up Dean" Calliope says, "And don't compare me to Lilith" she adds looking at Sam.

"Sorry, but listen Dean for the first time, we have warning that Lilith is close" Sam says as he tries to control himself.

"So?" Dean asks.

"So...we've got the jump on her. If we know when she's coming, we know where she's-this is an opportunity" Sam says to him.

Calliope can tell that Dean is trying not to fight back with his brother, "Are you-" he tries to compose himself, "it frustrates me when you say such reckless things"

"Well, it frustrates me with you'd rather hide than fight" Sam says back to him.

The waitress then comes back with their food, "Chick wrap for you, Cobb Salad for you" she says as she places the food down in front of Calliope and Sam. "And the Tofu veggie burger for you" she says as she places the burger in front of Dean.

"Thank You" Dean says to her, as she walks away. "It's not hiding, it's being smart. It's picking your battles. This is a battle that we are not ready to fight" he tells Sam as he then takes a big bite of the burger, and he was surprised at the taste. "Oh, My God this is delicious, Tofu is amazing!"

Just then the waitress comes back, looking embarrassed, "I am so sorry, I gave you the bacon cheeseburger by mistake" she says as she then takes Dean's plate. Sam and Calliope both give Dean a look telling him basically his plan is not going to work.

After a very quiet lunch, the three of them left the diner and got in the Impala, as Dean drove them toward a very sketchy run down looking motel. "Dude, this place charges by the hour" Sam remarks as they see the sign advertising just that.

"Yeah, well the book says Lilith finds you at the Red Motel. Hence, the uh, hooker inn it's opposite day, remember?" Dean says to his brother, as he parks the car, and they step out of the ar. Dean deals with getting a room, and comes back and they follow him to a room. They enter the room, and Dean tosses a bag on one of the beds, and then starts taking items out of the bag. Calliope sees him taking out what looks like hex bags, and he starts placing them around the room.

"What are you doing?" Sam asks him.

"Couple hex bags ought to Lilith-proof the room" he tells him.

"So, what? I'm supposed to just hole up here all night?" Sam asks him.

"That's exactly what you're gonna do, okay? And no research, I don't care what you to-use the Magic Fingers or watch Casa Erotica on Pay-Per-View" Dean says as she then takes Sam's bag and takes his laptop out of the bag.

"Oh, dude, come on" Sam says to him.

"Just call it a little insurance" Dean says to him.

"What are you two gonna do?" Sam asks them.

"Well, the manuscripts says that we drive around in the Impala, discussing our... well... our feelings for one another" Calliope tells him.

"So I'm gonna go park her, and we are not discussing anything. Behave yourself, would you? No homework, watch some porn" Dean smiles at his brother as he then walks out of the motel room, with Calliope following.

Calliope and Dean get into the Impala, and Dean drives away from the motel, what they don't notice is as they drive away some of the letters on the motel sign go out, leaving the letters R E D light up. Dean and Calliope stay mostly silent in the car, not knowing what to say without it leading to a conversation they are trying to avoid. "This looks like a good spot" Dean says as he parks the car, and the two of them get out. The two of them walk away heading across the street when they hear something, looking back they see two teenagers attempting to break into the car.

"Hey!"Dean shouts as he starts to run toward them. Calliope then spots a van coming toward him, "Dean!" she shouts out, using her powers to move him out of the way, but he still crashes into the ground. Calliope runs over to him, and the woman in the van gets out, along with her daughter.

"Is...is he okay" she asks Calliope.

"I think he's just knocked out" Calliope tells her, as the little girl then starts to put band-aids on Dean's face, and Calliope notices that they are the exact ones that Chuck wrote about in the manuscript. Dean starts to come too, looking up at the woman who had almost hit him,.

"Oh, my god, just take it easy, you're gonna be okay" she tells Dean.

"Stars" he then says and Calliope notices the woman has star shaped earring in.

"What was that?" the woman asks as Dean slowly tries to raise his head.

"I'm so sorry I just didn't see you, are you okay?" she aks Dean as he sits up. "And sorry about...you know" the woman nods toward her daughter nearby, "M-my daughters' going through a doctor phase" she explains.

"What are you talking about?" Dean asks the woman.

"You're all better now" the little girl says.

Dean stands up looking at Calliope, before looking over at the Impala, and that's when they both see the back window has been smashed.

"Oh. No..." Dean says.

"I'm sorry Dean, I wanted to make sure you were okay, I didn't even hear the kids doing that" Calliope says as they make their way back over to the Impala, Dean look sin the side window of the car, seeing the flowery band-aids on his face. Calliope tries not to laugh, but she can't help at how funny he looks. Dean gives her a stern look as he pulls the band-aids off his face; he then finds a tarp nearby and wraps it around the broken back window. The two of them slid into their seats, as Dean drives away, clearly pissed off about everything going on.

Dean pulls the car up to Chucks house, "Dean why are we here?" Calliope asks him.

"I want some damn answers" he says to her.

"Dean, come on, all of this...this is just some weird coincidence that's all" she says to him.

"No, Calliope this isn't some coincidence" he says to her as he puts the car in park and they get out.

The two of them walk up to the house, and knock on the door, waiting for Chuck to answer. After a few moments, no one comes to the door, and Dean starts banging on it.

"Dean..Dean..stop he's not home" Calliope tells him.

"Then I guess we just go inside and wait, use your powers to unlock the door please" he says to her.

"Really Dean" she says rolling her eyes at him.

"Your quicker, then me getting my lock picking kit out and using it" he says to her.

"Fine" she says as she places her hand on the door and after a few seconds they hear the unlocking of the lock on the door. "Age before beauty" Calliope remarks as she opens the door for Dean to go inside. He steps into the house, and Calliope follows, closing the door behind them locking it back up, as they go and sit down on the couch, and wait for Chuck to come home.

"So..do you want to discuss the elephant in the room or should I start first" Calliope then says to Dean.

"What are you talking about?" he asks her.

"I think you know Dean, the conversation we are trying not to have, you know we are going to have to have it eventually" she says to him.

"Callie, I got nothing to talk about, you and I not happening, we are like siblings, you're the annoying little sister I never had growing up" he tells her.

"Yeah..and you're the jerk older brother who is way over protective" she remarks.

"I am just protective of you because I care" he tells her as they then hear the door unlock and open. Calliope sees Chuck enter the house, walking slowly; she notices he has a brown bag and a six-pack of cans in his hands. As he comes into the living room, he isn't even fazed that the two of them are there.

"Dean, Calliope" he says to them.

"Wild guess you knew we would be here" Calliope says to him.

"You look terrible" Chuck says to Dean.

"That's cause she knocked me to the ground protecting me from getting hit by a minivan, Chuck" Dean says to him.

"Oh" he replies.

"That's it? Every damn thing you write about me comes true, that's all you have to say is 'oh'" Dean says his voice raising in anger.

"Please don't yell at me" he says to Dean.

"Why do I get the feeling there's something that you're not telling us?" Dean says as he stands up.

"What wouldn't I be telling you?" Chuck says as he puts the alcohol down that was in his hands.

"Well, maybe by telling us how you know everything you know to begin with" Calliope says as she stands up beside Dean.

"I don't know how I know, I just do!" Chuck tells her.

"That's not good enough!" Dean shouts at him as he shoves Chuck up against a wall, "How the hell are you doing this!"

Just then they hear a noise, and Calliope sees Castiel appear in the home, "Dean, let him go!" he tells Dean. Dean lets Chuck go and turns to look at Castiel, "This man is to be protected" he tells Dean.

"Why?" Dean asks.

"He's a prophet of the Lord" Castiel then tells them.

"You...you're Castiel...aren't you?" Chuck then asks the angel.

"It's an honour to meet you, Chuck, I ...admire your work" Castiel says as he picks up one of the books and starts going through ti.

"Whoa, whoa, what? This guy, a prophet? Come on, he's-he's...he's practically a Penthouse Forum writer" Dean says as he looks at Chuck, "Did you know about this?" he asks him.

Chuck then heads over to his armchair, opening the bottle of whiskey and pouring himself a glass, "I, uh, I might have dreamt about it" he tells Dean.

"And you didn't want to tell us?" Calliope says looking at him.

"It was too preposterous. Not to mention arrogant, I mean, writing myself into the story is one thing, but as a prophet? That's like M.Night level douchiness" Chuck says as he takes a swig of the whiskey, drinking it all down.

"This is the guy who decides our fate?" Dean quietly says to Castiel.

"He isn't deciding anything. He's a mouth piece-a conduit for the inspired word" Castiel tells him.

"The word? The word of god? What like the new new testament?" Dean asks him.

"One day, these books-they'll be known as the Winchester gospel" Castiel says to them.

"You got to be kidding me" Chuck and Dean say together.

"I am no..kidding you" Castiel says to them.

"If you'd all please excuse me one minute" Chuck says as he stands up, clutching the whiskey bottle, and heads upstairs.

"Him? Really?" Dean says to Castiel.

"You should've seen Luke" the angel says to them.

"Why'd he get tapped?" Dean then asks.

"I don't know how prophets are chosen. The order comes from high up on the celestial chain of command" Castiel tells Dean.

"Exactly how high?" Calliope then asks.

"Very" he answers her.

"Well, whatever. How do you get around this?" Dean asks.

"Around what?" Castiel asks him.

"The Sam-Lilith love connection. How do we stop it from happening?" Dean asks him.

"What the prophet has written can't be unwritten. As he has seen it, so it shall come to pass" Castiel tells him. Deans face goes hard, and he starts to leave Chucks, Calliope following closely behind him.

"Dean...Dean...what are you doing?" Calliope asks him as he heads back to the Imapala.

"We are going to get Sam, then get the hell out of here" he tells her as the two of them get into the car, and Dean takes off for the motel. He gets back to the motel, parking the car, the two of them step out of the car, they look up and notice the altered sign now matching what Chuck had written, and Dean shakes his head. The two of them then go to the room, and "Come oon, we're getting out of here" Dean says to his brother.

"What? Where?" Sam asks him confused.

"Anywhere, okay? Out of this motel, out of this town, I don't care if we got to swim, we are getting out" Dean says as he looks around the room, "Dude, where are all the hex bags?" he asks Sam.

"I burned them" Sam tells him.

"You did what?" Calliope asks him.

"Look, if Lilith is coming, which is a big 'if'-" Sam says to her.

"No, no, no it's more than an 'if'. Chuck is not a psychic, he's a prophet" Dean tells him.

"What?"Sam asks.

"Cas showed up, and apparently, Chuck is writing the gospel of us" Dean explains to him.

"Okay" Sam says to him.

"Okay, let's get the hell out of here" Dean says to him.

"No" Sam tells him bluntly.

"Sam, Lilith is going to kill you" Calliope says to him.

"Maybe she will, maybe she won't" Sam tells her.

"So what? You think you can take her?" Dean says to his brother.

"Only one way to find out, Dean, and I say bring her on" Sam says back at him.

"Sam..."Dean says to him, and Calliope gives him a sympathetic look.

"You two think I'll do it, don't you? You both think I'll go dark side" Sam says looking at both of them.
