Calliope, Dean and Sam walk around the town, looking for anything that is out of the ordinary, when a woman jogging goes straight through Sam. Dean laughs, watching the woman continuing jogging and Sam looks at his brother.

"That was wild" Dean says as he then sticks his arm into Sam, and Sam looks at his brother stoned face, "Am I making you uncomfortable ?" Dean says to him.

"Get out of me" Sam tells him.

Dean takes his arm out of his brother, "You're such a prude, come on" he says as he continues down the street, Sam and Calliope following. The three of them walk around the town for hours, and hadn't found anything. "Oh, man, we've been spooking this town for hours, no demons, no black smoke. I say we hit Victoria's Secret and get our peep on, huh?" Dean says to them.

"Seriously Dean, you are such a jackass" Calliope says as she looks around, then spots a boy looking at them from a window in a nearby house, "Look, there's a kid in the window, and is it just me or is he watching us?" she then says to them.

"It's cause we've seen him before" Dean says to her.

"We have?" Sam then asks Dean, and Calliope looks closer at the kid, and she starts to realize who he is.

"The newspaper, its Cole Griffith the last person to die in this town, the one we were trying to communicate with" Calliope tells him as they watch Cole flicker and disappear. The three of them then head to the house, where they can hear a woman talking to herself. They follow the womans voice and come upon a room, that she was in, and she walks through the three of them, as they see Cole tossing balls that are making contact with the nearby wall.

"Stop! How are you doing that?" Dean calls out to him.

"Who are you?" he then asks them.

"Cole, it's okay we're here to help" Calliope says to him.

"How do you know my name?" he then asks.

"Look, this isn't gonna be easy to hear, but...you're-dead. You're a spirit, us too" Sam says and both Calliope and Dean give him a look.

"Yeah, thanks, Haley Joel. I know I'm dead. What do you want?" Cole asks the three of them.

"We just want to talk" Sam tells him.

"About what?" Cole then asks.

"What happened to you" Calliope tells him.

Calliope, Sam and Dean sit at the kitchen table, as Cole leans against the counter the three of them watching Cole's mother pouring herself some vodka. "I was outside all morning" Cole tells them as he turns to face the three of them, "They tell you to be careful when it's cold" he adds.

"Cold air can cause an asthma attack?" Dean then asks and Cole just shrugs his shoulders.

"But then I was in my room. It happened so fast, I called out for my mom, but nothing came out. Everything started spinning, and the I was just standing there, looking down at my body" Cole tells them as he leans on the table.

"I'm guessing that is when you saw the man?" Calliope asks him.

"Creepy old guy in a black suit, he wanted me to go with him, but..." he looks at his mother, "I didn't want to go" he tells them.

"Reaper" Calliope says to the boys, and Dean nods at her, "How did you make him go?" she then asks.

"I didn't, the black smoke did" he tells her.

"Black smoke?" Dean asks him.

"Do you know where the smoke went?" Dean asks.

"No, but I know where it is" he tells him and that is when the lights start to flicker, and Cole jumps. Dean and Calliope look around, as Coles mother looks up.

"They're back" Cole suddenly says.

"Who?" Calliope and Dean asks together and Cole disappears. The three of them get up and look around, as a blast of wind hits them in the face, and something white in the form of a human goes through the room and up the stairs.

"Another reaper?" Sam asks them and the three of them head for the stairs.

"Hey! Hey! Wait! We need to talk to you!" Dean yells at the figure.

The three of them stare, as a woman descends the stairs, "Dean" the woman says.

Sam and Calliope look at Dean who looks confused, "Do I know you?" Dean asks.

"We go way back" she says as she walks past them and into the kitchen, and the three of them follow her. "You don't remember me?" she asks Dean.

"Honestly, if I had a nickel for every time I heard a girl say that...You're gonna have to freshen my memory" Dean says to her. She then steps toward Dean, and reaches up and pulls Dean in for a kiss, and after a few minutes she pulls away, "Tessa" he says to her.

"That's one of my names, yeah" she says to him.

"So you do know her" Sam says to his brother,.

"From the hospital, after the accident" Dean tells him.

"The accident with Dad?" Sam asks him, and Dean nods, "So, this is the reaper that came after you" he then adds.

"Yeah" Dean answers him.

"Well this was fun" Tessa says to them, "Now if you'll excuse me-" she goes to turn away but Dean stops her.

"Wait, wait,wait, you can't-you can't take the kid" Dean tells her.

"Why?" she asks.

"Because there are demons in town, and they've already taken one reaper, and this kid knows where they are" Calliope tells her.

"So?" she says to Calliope.

"You should leave, they might come out of nowhere and snag you too" Calliope says.

"Except that this town is off the rails, and someone has to set it straight" Tessa tells her as they watch Coles mother come in and pick something up and leave the room.

"Yeah, we understand that, but these are special circumstances" Dean tells her.

"What? Your whole angel-demon dance off? I could care less, I just want to do my job" Tessa says to him.

"Right, yeah, and look we want to help you do your job. So if you would just bail town" Sam says to her.

"No" Tessa says to them.

"Then can you just hold off until we fix this, please" Calliope says to her.

Tessa lets out a sigh, "All right, but just so we're clear, when I start reaping again, I'm starting with the kid" she informs them.

"Understood, I'll find him" Sam says as he turns away to go back upstairs.

"Wait..."Calliope calls out and Sam turns back to look at her, "what are you going to say to him?" she asks.

"Whatever I have to" he tells her as he turns back and heads up the stairs and Tessa, Calliope and Dean watch him go.

"I'll tell you, life is funny" Tessa then says looking at Dean.

"What do you mean?" Dean asks her.

"You and me, together again" she says to him.

"Are you-are you making a move on me?" Dean asks her.

She shakes her head, "You're the one that got away, Dean. You'd be surprised how little that happens to me" she says to him.

"I'm guessing not very often" Calliope says to her.

"No" she says to Calliope.

"Can I tell you something between the three of us?" Dean says.

"Who am I gonna tell" Tessa says to him.

"You know I keep all your secrets" Calliope tells him.

"After our little experience..for that whole year, I felt like I had this...hole in my gut...like I was missing something. I didn't know what, do you know what it was?" Dean says to Tessa, "It was you. The pain of losing my father, Sammy. I just..I wish I had gone with you for good. But I guess things are different now" he says and he looks over at Calliope.

"What? The angels on your shoulder?" Tessa then says to him.

"So, you know about that, huh? Well hey, don't get me wrong. I mean most of the once we've meet are dicks with wings. But still ...you know I've done things. Horrible things, and someone upstairs still decided to give me a second chance. It just makes me feel...I don't know" Dean says and Calliope gently touches his arm.

"Uh-huh" Tessa says, and before anyone can say anything else they hear someone clearing their throat. They turn to see Sam standing there with Cole, "Hey guys" he says to them.

"Hey, Cole, I'm Tessa. I'm not going to hurt you" she tells him.

"It's okay Cole, just tell them what you told me" Sam tells the kid.

"I saw the black smoke at my funeral" Cole tells them.

"At the cemetery?" Dean asks him.

"At the funeral home, it was everywhere" Cole explains.

The lights in the room start to flicker and everyone looks around Dean looks at Tessa, "You doing that?" he asks her.

"No" she says to him. The front doors open on the house, and black smoke comes pouring through the home filling the house. They all have to duck as it pours over them, and when the smoke is gone, they all look around and see that Tessa is gone.

"Tessa!" Dean shouts.

"Cole, you okay?" Sam asks the kid.

"So the hell are we supposed to stop that" Calliope asks the boys.

"I don't know learn some ghost moves?" Sam says to her.

"By tonight? Yeah sure, I'll meet you back at Mr. Miyagi's" Dean says to his brother.

"Who's Mr. Miyagi?" Cole then asks and the three of them just look at one another.

Calliope, Dean and Sam stand on the porch outside the home, as they try to get things to move. Dean is standing there starting at the mini windmill trying to make it move.

"It's not gonna move if you don't concentrate" Cole tells him.

"I am concentrating" Dean says earning a look from Sam and Calliope, before focusing back on the windmill, making it slowly start to turn, "Aw, there we go Baby" Dean says, as the windmill keeps turning then suddenly stops.

"You pull a muscle?" Cole says to him.

"All right, Yoda, let's see what you got" Dean says to him.

Cole then looks at the windmill and it starts to spin, not stopping. The porch swing then starts to swing, followed by the wind chimes moving, and Calliope and Sam let out a light laugh.

"Dude! You are so Amityville" Dean says to him.

"This isn't even the good stuff" Cole grins at Dean.

Cole takes them back inside, wanting to show them more things to try and learn, he punches Sam in the stomach, and Sam folds over.

"See? If you want to hit something, you just got to get mad" Cole tells them as Sam straightens back up.

"Yeah, got it" Sam says.

"Now, you try. Hit me" Cole says looking at Dean.

"Uh, I think I'll stick to just picking on somebody my own size" Dean says as he then looks over at Sam, when Cole punches Dean in the face, and both Sam and Calliope let out a laugh. Dean rubs his face, as Cole moves back toward Sam again.

"Hit me as hard as you can" Cole tells him.

"Dude, I'm not gona do Fight Club with a twelve-year-old" Sam says to him, and that's when Cole punches Sam, and Sam shakes his head.

"All right, cut it out" Sam tells him.

"Make me" Cole taunts him as he goes to take another swing at Sam, and Sam manages to block it. As Sam goes to swing back, Cole disappears, and reappears further away from the three of them.

"Whoa, Whoa, you got to teach us that" Dean says.

After spending some time with Cole teaching them some ghost tricks, Sam, Dean and Calliope make their way toward the funeral home. As they get closer they notice glowing blue symbols all over the building. The three of them make their way across the street, and notice pedstrains just walking by not noticing the symbols at all.

"This looks like New Jack City. Can nobody see this?" Dean asks.

"Maybe it's demon invisible ink, only see it in the veil" Sam suggests.

"Any idea what it's for?" Dean then asks his brother.

"We'll find out" Sam says and they three of them go to enter the building, when Calliope tries to enter she feels like something is pushing back against her.

"What the hell?" she says and the boys look at her."Something is trying to stop me from entering" she says to them.

"You think it's the symbols?" Sam asks her.

"Possibly, I am supposedly part angel right, makes sense if the demons are trying to keep angels out" Calliope says as they try to enter the building. Sam and Dean go ahead of Calliope, as she tries to enter once again, it hurt her to go in but she managed to break through whatever barrier was keeping her out.

"You okay?" Dean asks her.

"Yeah..just hurts a little" she tells him as the three of them continue walking through the funeral home. They come upon an open door and slowly they all enter through, and Sam see's a set of stairs going around them. Dean and Calliope go around the other, and don't find anything until they hit the middle of the room. ON the floor of the room is what looks like an eight pointed star in a square with weird symbols at each point of the star. Lying on the ground is Tessa, and an older man in a suit that must be the orginal reaper of the town.

As they get a closer look they spot a man that is a guard and he doesn't seem to see the three of them, "Dude, check me out" Dean whispers to Calliope and Sam. He takes a step forward and disappears, reappearing behind the man where he taps him on the shoulder, and the man turns around. Dean punches the man in the face, and when the man goes to swing back Dean disappears again. This time Sam taps the man on the shoulder, then punches him. Calliope appears on the other side of the man and she takes her turn punching him. Sam then knees the man, and he tries to scramble away from the three of them and Dean kicks him. The man scurries to hide from the three of them, but they follow.

"You know, this ghost thing, it's, it's kind of rad" Dean says to them. Just then they hear movement, and see another man come out from behind a curtain, a chain in his hand, as the one they were chasing earlier scrambles over the coffin to get out of the way. The man from behind the curtain then pulls the chain tight and hooks it tight to a candle stand.

"It's iron" Sam remarks as they see the man let go of the chain and his hands are smoking. The three of them then look around and realize that the chain is surrounding them.

Another man enters the room looking at the three of them, "You three find the place okay?" he says as his eyes roll back and show white and they realize its Alastair.

His eyes turn back to human and he walks toward the chain, as another demon in the room hands him a shotgun before leaving. Alastair cocks the shotgun then aims it at Dean, he shoots it, and Dean disappears.

"Rock salt's not so much fun anymore, is it?" Alastair says as Calliope glares at him, and Dean comes back beside her.

"Alastair, you bastard" Dean shouts at him.

"Well, go on why don't you try some of your mojo on me now, hotshot?" Alastair says to them and they are all fuming.

"It's hard to get it up when you're not wearing your meat, huh?" Alastair says to them.

"Go to hell" Sam says to him.

"Ah, if only I could" he says to Sam as he turns away and crosses the room, "But they just keep sending me back up to this arctic craphole" he tells them.

"To do what kill Death?" Calliope asks him.

"No, to kill death twice, It takes two to break a seal. I figured another one would show up, though. They're like lemmings" Alastair says as he pumps the shotgun again and this time shoots Sam, who disappears. He steps back toward the chain again, "By the way, it's, uh, good to see you again, Dean" he says to him.

"You can shoot us all you want, but you can't kill us" Dean says to him as Sam reappears his arms wrapped around his torso.

"Ah, is that so" he says to him. As he goes to shoot at Calliope this time, Dean steps infront of her taking the hit instead.

"Ohh he must like you" Alastair teases as he puts the shot gun down and picks up a scythe, and Dean reappears.

"Anyhoo...Moon's in the right spot. The board is set, let's get started shall we" Alastair says to them.

"You're gonna kill a reaper with that? It's a little on the nose, don't you think" Dean says to him.

"Is it? An old friend lent it to me. You know, he doesn't really ride a pale horse, but her does have three amigos" Alastair says as he walks over toward the reapers, "And they're just jonesing for the apocalypse" he says as he kneels next to the older reaper.

"It pays to have friends in low places" Alastair says as he grabs the reaper by the collar and hauls him up, "Don't you think" he says as he places the scythe behind the reapers neck, he starts the indication and pulls the scythe, and a white blue light glows, as Alastair lowers the dead reaper to the floor. Alastair then straightens himself out, as Calliope looks around for anything to help get them out of there. Calliope looks at the boys then up at the chandliear hinting at them to try and knock it down.

"Stop!" they hear Tessa shout out, as they concentrate on the chandelier, as Alastair starts his spell once again. They concentrate even harder and the chandelier starts to shake, before it finally lands on a corner of the reaper trap, breaking it. Tessa disappears for a moment, before reappearing by the candle stand, and removing the chain that was holding the three of them back.

"Bye-Bye" Dean says to him and the four of them disappear.

Tessa, Dean and Calliope appear outside the funeral home, and realize Sam is not with them, "Where's your brother?" Tessa asks Dean.

"We'll go find him, you get out of here" Dean tells her, as him and Calliope walk away looking for Sam. The two of them head down an alleyway, and Calliope gets the feeling they aren't alone anymore, "You can't run" they hear Alastair say and turn to see him standing in the alley with them.

"Dean, not from me, I'm inside that angstly little noggin of yours" Alastair says as he starts to advance toward them, when out of nowhere, there is blue and white lightning that strikes Alastair, and he vansishes.

"What the hell?" Dean says.

"Guess again" they hear a voice say and turn around to see Castiel.

"What the hell just happened?" Calliope asks him.

"What just happened, You, Dean and Sam just saved a seal. We captured Alastair, Calliope, Dean, this was a victory" Castiel says to them.

"Well, no thanks to you" Dean says to him.

"What makes you say that?" Castiel asks.

"You were here the whole time?" Dean asks him.

"Enough of it" CAstiel says as he looks away from them.

"Well, thanks for your help with the rock salt" Dean says to him.

"Dean, the writing on the funeral home, it was angle proof wasn't it. They couldn't penetrate it, that's why it hurt me to go through" Calliope says realizing why Castiel couldn't come help them inside.

"She is right, why do you think I recruited the three of you in the first place?" Castiel says looking at them.

"You recruited us?" Dean asks him.

"That wasn't your friend Bobby who called, Dean. It wasn't Bobby who told Sam about the seal" he tells Dean.

"That was you?" Dean asks as Castiel looks down, "If you want our help, why the hell didn't you just ask?" Dean says.
