Calliope and Bobby follow as close as possible to Dean, keeping their eyes peeled in case he tries to ditch them again.
"You know you're playing with fire Calliope" Bobby says to her.
"I know exactly what I am getting into Bobby, and there's nothing that can change my mind" she says.
"I just don't want to see you get hurt, by those boys" he says to her.
"Bobby, I am a big girl I can handle it" she tells them, as they spot a police car parked behind the Impala. Calliope stops the car, and they boy get out just as they see Dean beating the crap out of a police officer, and then stab him in the neck.
"What the hell happened?"Bobby asks as they both look at Dean in shock.
"Dean just killed a demon" Sam says startled by what just happened, "How'd you know?" he then asks his brother.
"I just knew" Dean answers him, "I could see its face, its real face under that one" he tells them shaken up by what is happening to him.
The four of them then decided to try and cover this all up, they buried the police officers body in a nearby forest, and Calliope drove the car into the same wooded area. She wiped down all the parts of the car she had touched so nothing would ever trace back to her, as the men all gather broken tree branches hoping to cover the car all oup.
"So you are seeing demons now?" Calliope asks Dean as she tosses another tree branch on the car.
"I've been seeing all kinds of things lately, but nothing like this" he tells her.
"Actually, it's not all that crazy" Bobby then says, causing the three of them ot look at him.
"How is it not that crazy?" Dean asks him.
"Well you've got what, just over five hours to go? You're piercing the veil, Dean. You're glimpsing the B side" Bobby explains.
"A little less new age-y please" Dean says to him.
"You're almost hells bitch." Bobby says earning a look of surprise from Dean, "So you can see hell's other bitches" he adds.
"Thank you " Dean sasy mockingly.
"That might actually come in handy" Calliope then says as they continue to try and cover up the car.
"Oh, well, I'm glad my doomed soul is good for something" Dean says to her.
"Damn right it is. Lilith's probably got demons stashed all over town. We can't let them sound the alarm. She knows we're here we're dead before we're started" Bobby says to Dean.
"Well this is a terrific plan, I'm excited to be a part of it" Dean says to them, "Can we go please?" he then adds as he starts to walk away. The three others then follow him, each going back to their cars and continuing on for town.
The four of them manage to find a vacant house in a small cul-de-sac. The manage to break in without anyone noticing and take their things inside. The four of them are looking at the house across the street, watching as the ould man seated at the end of the table, is suddenly killed before their eyes.
"It's the little girl" Dean says to them, "her face is awful" he adds.
"Alright then, let's go. We're waisting time" Sam then says and stars to make his way out of the house, when Dean stops him.
"Wait!"Dean says to him.
"For what, her to kill the rest of them?" Sam asks his brother.

"Yeah, and us too if we're not careful. Look, see the real go-getter mailman on the clock at nine PM" Dean says motioning to a mail man on the street tossing letters into his truck. "And Mr.Rogers over there" he adds pointing to a man in another house seated by the front window smoking a pipe.
"Demons" Bobby asks him.
"Yes" Dean replies.
"Okay, fine, we-we-we- we ninja pass those guys, sneak in" Sam tells him.
"Then what? Give a 'Colombian necktie' to a ten year old girl, come on!" Dean says to him.
"Look, Dean, I know it's awful "Sam says to him.
"You think" Dean replies.
"This isn't about saving you, Dean. This is about saving everybody" Sam says.
"Dean, she has to be stopped no matter what body she is in" Calliope tells him. Dean looks at her then out the window.
"Oh, damn it" he says.
"So, then we take care of the two demons that we know of first, then take care of Lilith" Calliope tells them.
"Jut how are we gonna do that?" Bobby asks her.
"You do an exorisim with a rosary, and put it into the water line, while the three of us get the demon's attention with Dean as bait" she suggests.
"Is she always this bossy" Bobby remarks, and both Sam and Dean give him a yes she is look.
Dean gets the mailman demon's attention and has him chase him around a corner where Calliope manages to stab him in the stomach, as Dean holds him . Once he is dead, they drag the body far enough to hide before taking care of Mr. Rogers. As Calliope pulls the knife out of Mr. Rogers, Dean and Sam take the body away. Dean runs off ahead of them, when he is ambused by Ruby who shoves him against the fence.
"I want my knife back, please, or your neck snaps like a chicken bone" Calliope hears her threaten as she comes up behind Ruby holding the knife to her neck.
"He doesn't have it bitch, so take it easy" she warns as she pulls Ruby away from Dean, just as Sam comes to join them.
"How the hell did you get out?" Dean asks as he looks at her.
"What you don't know about me could fill a book" she answers.
"Whoa" Dean says as he has a reaction to her true face.
"What?" she asks him.
Dean looks away from her then glances back at her for a quick second, "Nothing, I just-I couldn't see your face before, but you're one ugly broad" he tells her.
"Give me the knife Calliope" she then demands.
"Not happening, you can have your stupid knife when this is all said and done" Calliope says to her, putting the knife in her back pocket.
"It's already over. I gave Sam a way to save Dean, and he shot me down. Now it's too late, he's dead. And I'm not going to let Sam die too" she says to her.
"You try and stop us, we'll kill you bitch" Calliope seethes at her.
"Hit me with your best shot, baby" Ruby says to her.
"Guys, guys! Hey!" Dean says getting their attention, "Have your little catfight later" he adds looking toward the houses, where they see people all standing on the front steps of each house. The people each have black eyes and start making their way toward the four of them.
"So much for the element of surprise" Dean says.
"Go, go, run, run" Sam says as Dean opens the fence gate and they all take off running for the house they had seen Lilith in earlier. They get to the house, and Sam starts to try and pick the lock.

"What the hell is taking Bobby?" Dean then asks.
Calliope sees that Sam is having problems with the lock, "I'm trying!" he tells her.
"Let me" she says just as the sprinklers turn on and spray the bodies with holy water, burning them. Calliope focuses on the lock, using her powers she manages to unlock the door and they all rush in.
Entering the house they see a dead body, as Dean closes the door behind them. Dean then notices the body the other three were looking at.
"You think Lilith knows we're here?" he asks them.
"Probably" Ruby answers.
"Let's check it out" Callioppe says holding the knife out infront of her, as the four of them start to explore the home. Entering the dining room, there is a sound behind Dean, who quickly turns around and grabs a man that has come out from the nearby closet. He covers the mans mouth telling him to shush.
"Were here to help" Dean whispers to the man, "Okay, I'm gonna move my hand, and we're gonna talk nice and quiet okay?" he asks him. The man nods in agreement, and Dean slowly removes his hand.
"Sir, where is your daughter?" Sam then asks.
"It's not..it's not her anymore" he shakily says.
"Where is she?" Sam then asks.
"Upstairs in her bedroom" he tells them.
"Okay, okay, listen to me. I want you to go downstairs to the basement. Put a line of salt at the door behind you." Dean tells the man, "Do you undertstand me?" he then asks.
"Not without my wife" he protests.
"Yes, without your wife" Dean tells him.
"No" he protests again. Dean then punches the man in the face knocking him out.
"Here take this" Calliope tells Sam, handing him the knife. "You two head upstairs, I'll help Dean with this" she says as she heads to the kitchen looking for salt. She finds some then heads toward the basement. As she enters she see's Dean place the man down on the hard floor. He steps away from the man, and they head upstairs. As she then places salt across the ground, baracading the door. The two of them head upstairs looking for Sam and Ruby, when they enter a girls bedroom. Dean rushes over and grabs Sam's arm stopping him from stabbing the young girl that was screaming at him.
"It's not her!" Dean shouts at him, "it's not in the girls anymore" he tells him.
The little girl continues to cry looking at her mom, "Mommy!".
"Mommy's here, mommy's here, it's okay" the woman assures her daughter.
The four of them lead the woman and the girl down the stairs and toward the basement that Dean had placed the man in earlier. "Alright no matter what you hear, you, your husband and daughter stay in the basement" Dean tells the woman, as him and Calliope safely lead them to the basement stairs.
"Don't break that line of salt no matter what you hear" Calliope tells the woman who lifts her daughter up and steps over the salt heading down the basement stairs. Dean and CAliiope shut the door behind them as they go back out to hear Sam asking Ruby what he needs to do.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Dean asks his brother grabbing him.
"Just shut up for a second" Sam tells Dean pulling away from his grip. "Ruby!" he says to her.
"You had your chance, you can't just flip a switch. We needed time" she explains to Sam.
"Well, there's gotta be something. There's gotta be some way, whatever it is, I'll do it" Sam tells her.
Dean tries to grab at him again, "Don't Dean!" Sam yells at him, "I'm not gonna let you go to hell Dean" he shouts moving away from him.
"Yes,you are!" Dean shouts back. All three of them look at Dean, shocked. "Yes you are" he repeats more calmly this time. "I'm sorry. I mean this is all my fault, I know that. But what you're doing, it's not gonna save me. It's only gonna kill you" he says to Sam.
Sam looks at his brother tears swelling up in his eyes, "Then, what am I suppose to do"
"Keep fighting, take care of my wheels, go on cases with Calliope, keep her safe. Sam, remember what Dad taught you..okay" Dean tells his brother, as Sam tries to hold his tears back. At this point Calliope can feel her own tears falling. "And remember what I taught you" Dean adds, as the tears form in his eyes.
Just then the grandfather clock chimes midnight, the three of them have tears on their faces knowing what is about to happen. "I'm sorry, Dean. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy" Ruby says to him. After a few secons they notice Dean's face fall as he turns around. Sam and Calliope then look in the same direction knowing he's hearing something. "Hellhound" Dean then says.
"Where?" Sam asks him.
"There" he replies and they look to where he is staring , suddenly Dean starts to run, and the others follow. They make their way inside an nearby office, and Sam, Ruby and Calliope hold the doors shut as the hellhound pounds at the door. Dean pulls a puch from his pocket pouring the goofer dust across the door. The pounding eventually comes to a stop as Dean bolts for the windows, covering the windowsills with the dust.
"Give me the knife, maybe I can fight it off" Ruby suddenly says to Sam. Calliope and Sam both look at her confused as to why she would want it.
"What?" he asks her.
"Come on! That dust won't last forever" she says to them. Sam starts to take the knife out when Dean calls him out to wait. "You wanna die" Ruby then says to Dean.
"Sam, Callie, that's not Ruby. It's not Ruby!" he then shouts at them. Sam then goes to attack her with the knife, when she tosses him toward a wall, using her powers to keep him trapped there. As Calliope goes to try and use hers to toss Ruby, she doesn't get a chance as Ruby makes Calliope go flying back onto the same wall as Sam, where she's held on by an invisible force. They then see her do the same thing to Dean, making him land on the desk.
"How long you been in her?" Dean then asks.
"Not long" Lilith then replies to him, as she looks over her new body, "But I like it. I'ts all grown up and pretty" she adds as her eyes turn white.
"And where's Ruby?" Sam asks her.
"She was a very bad girl, so I sent her far, far away" she answers as she cranes her neck.
"You know I should Have seen it before...but you all look alike to me" Dean tells her.
Lilith then looks over at Sam and Calliope, "Hello Sam, Calliope" she says as she steps closer to them. "I've wanted to meet you two for a very long time" she says to them, as she grabs Sam's face making him look at her, as her lips touch his, they can hear a sizzle noise. Lilith then pulls away, "you lips are soft" she says to Sam.
"You are not kissing me" Calliope warns her.
"Oh I have other things in mind for you" Lilith smiles at her.
"SO, you have us, let Dean go then" Calliope tells her.
"Silly goose, you want to bargin, you have to have something I want" she tells her, "You two don't" she says.
"I thought you were scared of me, that's why you wanted my head " Calliope says to her.
"I did, but now I have you where I want you" she says to her.
"So is this your big plan huh?" Dean asks as he struggles agains the invisible restraint, "Drag me to hell, kill Sam and Callie, and then what, become Queen Bitch" he says struggling.
"I don't have to answer to puppy chow" Lilith says to him. She then moves away from Sam and Calliope and heads toward the door, "Sic'em Boys" she says as she opens the door, allowinig the goofer dus t to disappear. Calliope and Sam watch in horror as the hellhound tears Dean apart.
"No!" Calliope and Sam both scream out.
"STOP IT!" Calliope continues to shout as Dean is toss around and torn, screaming in agony.
"NO!" They both yell again, when Dean collapses, no longer screaming.
"Yes" Lilith smiles at them, as she hold s her hand out toward the two of them.
The room is blinded in a bright white light, Calliope closes her eyes, waiting to embrace what is to come, when she feels her body fall down to the ground. The light finally vanishes and she looks to see Lilith standing there confused. Calliope looks at Sam who is crouched down on the ground hands out in front of him protectively. She then reaches over to him and he relaizes they are still there. Sam and Calliope both stand up, and look at Lilith. She looks at the floor afraid for once, and the two of them step toward her.
"Back" she says holding her hand out to stop them. "I said back" she tries to warn.
Calliope then sees the knife on the ground, bending down she picks it up, "I don't think so" she says as she goes to stab Lilith, she screams, and they watch as she leaves Ruby's body, Ruby collapsing on the ground beside Dean.
Calliope and Sam slowly walk toward Dean, whose eye are still open, "No" Sam cries as he lifts Dean's head.
"No!No!" Calliope cries out as she leans down beside Dean as well. She cries, as she slowly closes Dean's eyes. "I should have been able to save him" she says to Sam. Just then they hear the door of the house burst open and Bobby comes into the room.
"Son of a Bitch" he cries out seeing Dean laying there dead. The three hunters stay there in silence, not wanting to believe that their beloved Dean was gone.
"We..we should take him out of here" Bobby then speaks up saying. Calliope nods in agreement, as she slowly stands up. She sees Sam's hand shake as he goes to pick up his brother, she places her hand on his arm letting him know it's going to be okay.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
