You sighed as you took another call from your agent. As an up and coming singer, you were reliant on your manager to get your name out in the open. "Yes, Martha," you responded to your agent.

"Are you free right now?" she asked.

"Yes, why?" you questioned, looking around the quaint coffee shop.

"Meet me at the Italian restaurant down the street from the agency, we have things to discuss," she stated before hanging up on you. Rolling your eyes at her antics, you got up, discarding your trash on the way out, and hopped into your car. After a short drive, you pulled up to the Italian restaurant Martha had told you to go to. Getting out of the car, you pulled on your shades and walked inside the restaurant.

You weren't quite dressed to the nines in your Nike sneakers and matching workout clothes but the snobby-looking hostess led you to a secluded table where Martha and a man sat. You pulled out the chair next to Martha and plopped down in it. "What's up?" you asked.

"Could you be a bit more professional?" Martha replied, annoyed.

"Well you could have given me a bit of a head's up before you dragged my butt down here. And by the way, why am I here in the first place?" you asked.

"We'll explain in a little bit," Martha replied evasively. "We're still waiting on someone else." You raised your eyebrow at this but sat in your chair quietly, playing games on your phone.

"Ah, here he is," the man, Pedro, stated. Looking up from your phone, you locked eyes with a man. He was handsome, but you had no idea who he even was. "This is my client, Marc Bartra," Pedro replied. Marc took the seat across from you, looking as confused as you felt.

"Now you are both probably very confused," Martha said.

"Yes," you both chorused.

"Martha and I have been talking lately and we have a proposition for the both of you," Pedro responded.

"You are an up and coming singer, (Y/N), and Marc is an up and coming footballer," Martha pointed out.

"Which is why we think it would be in the best interest if the two of you enacted a relationship. You can both publicize each other and you will both rise to stardom in your respective fields."

"You want us to have a fake relationship?" you asked, narrowing your eyes.

"Yes," Martha and Pedro stated.

"Do we have any say in this?" Marc asked, looking like he would rather be anywhere else than here.

"Of course, we'll only go through with the deal if you both want to do it," Martha smiled.

"What do we get out of it?" you questioned.

"Like we said before, you both get more fame. (Y/N), you get the press off your back about your commitment issues and Marc, you get the press off your back about the break up." Marc stared hard at the ground before muttering.

"I'm in," he spat out, obviously angry about the touchy subject.

"What about you, (Y/N)?" Martha asked, looking expectantly. With a second to decide you just sighed and looked at Martha.

"I'm in too."

"Great, we'll get the contract set up tomorrow. Meet here at about 3 o'clock," Pedro said.

"Sounds good, see you tomorrow," Martha smiled. Marc got up out of his seat quickly, leaving in a hurry. You sighed. Whatever break up he had just had, it wasn't a subject you felt you should push. The following day the four of you returned to the restaurant. After looking over the contract, you signed your name. Marc did likewise and you two were officially 'dating'.

The first few months consisted of going out to dates in public, supporting each other at concerts/games, and the like. You had met his teammates, who seemed fond of you. The sixth month rolled around. Rumors had been circulating around the world that you two were dating, since neither of you confirmed it. Your phone rang one night, an incoming call from Martha. "Hello?"

"You need to make the relationship official tomorrow, in your interview," Martha stated.

"Ok, got it," you replied tiredly, hanging up. Outside of the public eye, yours and Marc's relationship was nonexistent. You two barely talked and you hardly knew anything about him, and he knew nearly nothing about you. The following day it was official, you and Marc were 'in love' according to every magazine across Europe. You saw an increase in ticket sales and Marc gained more support in jersey sales.

You two were forced to go on a 'home date' because Pedro and Martha worried that your relationship seemed more robotic than it should be. Knocking on his front door, you waited quietly for Marc to answer the door. He opened it, a bored look on his face. "Hello," you said.

He nodded curtly and let you into his house. It was large, as you had suspected. He walked back over to the couch were he sat down. You sat across the coffee table, on the other couch. Rubbing his face tiredly, he turned to look at you. "Pedro thinks that we need to learn more about each other, which will 'improve our relationship' apparently," Marc sighed.

"Okay," you replied. "I'll go first, what's your favorite color?" you asked.

"Red, yours?"

"Orange," you responded. "Favorite food?"

"I'm going to have to go with pasta, yours?"

"Pizza," you smiled. The conversation went on from there, the both of you asking basic questions and slowly getting deeper. You slowly learned more and more about Marc and him about you. Then you reached a touchy subject. "How many relationships have you had before this one?" you asked.

"One," he replied, an unreadable expression covering his face. You glanced around awkwardly before he returned the question.

"None," you stated. You hadn't ever been in a relationship before, which prompted the media to question you at ever chance they got. You felt awkward. "See you soon," you replied, getting up and walking out of the room and out of the house. Realizing the touchy subject, you stayed clear of it whenever the two of you were in the midst of a conversation. This fake relationship progressed further and you found yourself attracted to Marc. He seemed indifferent, however.

A.N. Should I continue it? I already started part 2 but would any of you read it?
