TRIGGER WARNING: This chapter touches on some sensitive and heavy topics, so if you are easily disturbed, please proceed with caution at your own risk. The trigger part is written in italic.

Finn Hudson was furious about the photo-shopped image that Sebatian had made. Haley was rather vexed and wanted to confront Sebastian, but she refrained. Rachel and Kurt had brought the disturbing picture to Glee Club.

"That's it. I'm done." Finn said angrily. I'm leaving this classroom, and I'm going to beat that Sebastian kid's ass!"

"Finn, chill." Mr. Schue tried to stop him.

"No, I'm not going to chill. I...I'm done chilling." Finn spat.

"The official show choir rule book states that 'any real or perceived threat of violence, vandalism or humiliation will be met with a swift and unquestioned disqualification of the threatening party's team with extreme prejudice'." Arite said, as he and Sam brought Mr. Schue the book. "It's right here. Page 72, by-law 15, section six, article 44."

"Guys, I contacted the headmaster of Dalton." Mr. Schue said.

"Like you did when Sebastian almost blinded? What did they do then? Scoffed Blaine.

"The point is, they won't do anything, which isn't morally correct." Haley commented.

"Look, none of this matters now anyways, okay? We're not going to let him beat us like this. I'm going to perform at Regionals." Rachel said.

"Even if he's going to post a photo like this of me if you do?" Finn demanded.

"Finn, I'm not going to negotiate with terrorists." Rachel said.

"If someone posted a picture like that of me online, I'd probably kill myself." Sugar commented.

Haley was triggered at the word 'kill'. She began pulling at her fingers, and sighed. Sam saw this and tried to calm her down, telling her to breathe, but it didn't seem to benefit.

"Twice to be sure I was dead." Rory agreed.

"Look, you guys are just going to have to deal with things like this. The more successful you get, the more garbage people are going to make about you. They're going to love to tear down." Mr. Schue explained.

"So, we can deal with slushies, the rumours and gossip....It shouldn't be tolerated in high school or even in life. But this is blackmailing, Mr. Schue. It's a crime, and so was Sebastian's assault on Blaine. We are really going to sit here and do nothing? It's stupid if you ask me." Haley said.

"I can't believe you would do that to me." Finn said to Rachel.

"I'm going to be married to you. Don't you think I'm going to suffer the consequences as well? I mean, I just...I don't care about stuff like that. I love you, and we'll...We'll manage this together. Okay, the important thing right now is that we win."

"Wow, that's what you call a working relationship. Doesn't seem healthy or like you love each other." Haley commented.

"So, you wouldn't care if I photoshopped a photo of you like this and put it on the internet?"

"Look, our future depends on us winning Regionals. It'll help me towards my NYADA application."

"Hmm. Hope you get in." Finn said, storming out of the room.

"You're so egotistically minded, Berry. No wonder you don't care about this situation, because your NYADA application is more important to you than us, and your fiance's blackmail situation." Haley stated. "If I were Finn, I would react like him exactly and maybe be reconsidering my choice to marry you."

"Well there he is." Haley pointed as Sebastian sat at a table alone. Kurt, Haley, Santana, and Blaine approached him.

"Let me break it down for you, form one bitch to another. All this vicious, underhanded crap has got to stop." Santana said.

"Exactly. That's why I called you here. First of all... Blaine, I am sorry about your eye."

"That means nothing to me." Blaine said.

"Just give me a chance. I have no excuses, other than a lame prank got completely out of control Second, the Finn photos have all been destroyed. I want the Warblers to win fair and square. And we're gonna take donations for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. Win, lose or draw, we're gonna dedicate our performance to Dave Karofsky. I thought you might want to join us."

Haley felt light headed even when she heard Karofsky's name because it triggered the word dead and suicide. She held onto Kurt for balance, who wrapped his arm around her.

"Wait for the punch, you know it's coming." Kurt spoke up.

"No, not this time."

"What made you have a change of heart?" Haley asked.

"For too long I have treated everything like a big joke. I mistreated David when he came to talk to me in a bar a few days ago so, in a way, I feel responsible. It's all fun and games.... Until it's not." Sebastian sighed.

"So that means Rachel can perform at Regionals? Since there are no more photoshopped pictures?" Kurt asked.

"That's right." Sebastian clarified.

"Well, that's good, meerkat. I hope that this isn't a one time thing. I hope you've learned from your terrible actions, and continue to grow into a better and morally correct human being." Haley commented.

----

"Mr. Schue, why do you have a jar of peanut butter with one spoon?" Mercedes asked as everyone sat in a circle.

"Yeah, there are 15 of us here, and I'm only comfortable sharing a spoon with about half of you." Sugar said.

"Well, it's come to my attention that our good friend Rory Flanagan has never tasted peanut butter." Mr. Schue explained, while everyone turned to look at Rory.

"What?! Are you serious?" Finn asked, shocked.

"No way. It's not possible." Brittany commented.

"Rory, if you don't mind." Mr. Schue said getting up, and passing him the peanut butter jar and a spoon.

"Oh, my God...That's the best thing I've ever had." Rory said.

"Mr. Schuester, while that's incredibly moving, what's the point of all this?" Asked Kurt.

"The point is Rory just had a brand-new experience, something as simple as peanut butter. You guys are young. I want you to promise me that, no matter how depressed you get, no matter how hopeless or alone you feel, you'll try your best to imagine all of the amazing experiences ahead of you."

"Mr. Schue, look, I know we're a little dramatic sometimes, but I don't think anyone will ever consider taking their own life." Mercedes commented.

Haley began to play with her hands as she spoke up.

"Actually, I did." She said, on the verge of tears. This was a confession she didn't tell anyone, until now.

"Wait...What?" Quinn and Sam both asked, shocked.

"Hay, what do you mean?" Sam asked, as he brought her closer to him, wrapping his arm around her waist. She continued with her story.

"Not many of you know this, but my parents weren't really there for me. My dad was emotionally abusive, turned physical at one point later on, and my mom didn't have time for me. She wouldn't even acknowledge my presence, so that's why I live with Kurt and Finn now. I didn't have any parental figure to teach me to drive, the basics, or any of the private talk, so little Haley did it all on her own.

She began crying, as she continued. Her voice was shaky.

"I felt so alone at one point. I was very hurt, and this was around the age of 14 in my last year of middle school before my sophomore year last year. I met Kurt and Finn around then, but I was struggling. After one of my physical and emotional abuse situations with my dad, and my mom's painful ignorance, I decided that, 'oh I'm not wanted, I'm not important. I don't matter. No one will ever acknowledge my presence.' so I went to the bathroom and grabbed some pills, but before I could try to swallow them, Kurt came running into the bathroom and stopped me from trying to kill myself. Finn eventually came afterwards, both are really my heroes. And that is why I am still here in front of all of you today. The truth is that you can't escape your past, but you have to embrace the scars that made you who you are today. They symbolize all the adversities you endured that made you the strong person you are in the present day. I'm glad that I was saved, because I wouldn't have joined Glee Club, you guys are my family. I wouldn't have met Sam, who's the love of my life, and my constant joy and support system. Life will be difficult, it sucks. You'll experience the darkness and find light eventually. People will come and go, sometimes they'll stay, but you learn from your bad mistakes. To wrap it up, I'm really grateful to be here, surrounded by all of you today.

Haley let out a shaky breath as Sam pressed a kiss to her head, pulling her into him. She closed her eyes, as he wiped the remainder of her tears.

Thank you for sharing your personal story, Haley." Mr. Schue spoke up. "We are glad that you are still here today. We know you have so much to look forward to in the years to come."

"Yes we are. You are a wonderful person Hay." Quinn added, as everyone nodded in agreement.

"We never want you to feel that way again. It might be inevitable, but we want you to call any of us if you ever begin to travel downhill again." Kurt added.

Haley nodded as she sent everyone grateful smiles.

"So right now, I want all of you to think of something that you're looking forward to." Mr. Schue continued, trying to lift to mod. "Big things."

After a moment of silence, Sam spoke up. "Someday, I want to earn enough money to buy my folks a new place, so they don't ever have to go through losing their home again." Haley looked at him proudly, before pressing a kiss to his cheek. She laid her head on his shoulder again after their little moment.

"I'm most looking forward to meeting Rachel Berry's children." Mercedes said.

"I want to be there to see my kid's first steps." Artie said.

"I'm looking forward to being a mom, I wish I had growing up, and hopefully seeing Sam be an amazing dad." Haley said aloud.

"I want to be there to see Sex and the City Part III." Sugar said.

"Wow." Mr. Schue chuckled, as everyone laughed.

"I'm sort of embarrassed to admit it, but I really do want to graduate high school." Admitted Puck.

"I'm gonna petition the Army to change my dad's dishonorable discharge status to an honorable one." Finn answered.

"I'm looking forward to graduating from Yale at the top of my class." Quinn smiled.

"I'm looking forward to the day when my grandmother loves me again." Santana said.

"I want Lord Tubbington to kick his Ecstasy addiction." Brittany commented.

"I'm looking forward to marriage equality in all 50 states." Blaine said.

"I'm looking forward to the first time I dance at Carnegie Hall." Mike said.

"I just want a song." Tina shrugged.

"I'm looking forward to watching my dad make a difference in Congress." Kurt said.

"I'm looking forward to benign friends with all of you for the rest of my life." Rachel said, a smile visible.

"I know this sounds silly, and the peanut butter really is amazing, Mr. Schue, but do you know what I'm looking forward to?" Asked Rory, as everyone turned to look at him. "Winning at Regionals."

"Cheers to that." Haley said, wiping her tears, as everyone clapped and cheered in the circle. She really felt like she truly belonged and had found her true family.

----

Ever since Haley had told her personal struggle story in the auditorium, Sam had not left her side. He wanted to make sure she was okay, and she was grateful. They had gone home that night and had a private conversation about her past, and Sam's family as well, hashing everything out, and it was all going well. Haley felt that ever since Valentine's Day, and now this, their relationship had only strengthened.

And there Haley sat looking in the mirror getting ready, as she took three deep breaths. She found that three deep breaths could change everything.

"Hey, are you doing okay?" Sam asked, as he approached her.

"Yeah, I am." She assured him as he pulled her into a hug.

"Thanks for the chat last night. I needed it." She continued as he swayed them back and fourth.

"Same here, Hay." He replied as he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. As they pulled away, he held her in his arms. "Everything will be okay, you have me, and your Glee family. Okay? We are here for you, and we love and accept who you are, no matter the struggles you have been through or are struggling with now." He assured her, as she wiped her tears away.

"Thank you, I love you." She said.

"I love you too." He replied.

----

After the New Directions had won Regionals, the girls sat around the room in pink dresses waiting for Quinn. Rachel was persistent that they wait for her.

"Are you sure she's coming?" Rachel asked.

"Yes, Berry, I'm sure. She had to go home, and get her dress, and she'd be on her way." Haley said. "She's most likely driving." She added as she played with her phone anxiously.

"Face it, Quinn's not coming." Santana spoke up when it was 3:55.

"She said she'd be here, okay? I don't want to start without her." Rachel pleaded.

"Finn out.." Mercedes gasped when she saw Finn and the boys enter the room. "You can't see the bride before the wedding."

"I've already seen her."

"But that's bad luck." Tina added.

"No, it's fine." Rachel assured the group.

"Rachel, we gotta go right now, or we're gonna lose our slot." Finn said.

"Could we please just wait a couple more minutes for Quinn, please?" Rachel asked.

"It's now or never.: Finn said.

"I don't know Rachel." Haley commented. "She's not answering her phone."

"Rach, we need to go now." Finn said.

As Haley wandered out into the hallway, her phone rang. She answered, only to receive heartbreaking and terrifying news.

She shakily walked back into the room. "Guys, Quinn's been in a car accident." She managed to get out as she fell to the ground sobbing. Sam ran to help her, and pulled her into a hug, whispering words into her ear, as she tried to calm down. "Shh, Hay, she's going to be okay." He said.

"But, how do you know that???" Haley sniffled. "I don't want to lose another person that matters to me." She continued to cry quietly.

"I just know, she is going to be okay." He answered. "You have to breathe, and trust me okay, Hay?"

Such a heavy episode, but one of my favorites.

I beg you to get help if you are struggling with not only anxiety, but depression or even emotional abuse, or domestic violence, or assault. There are hotline numbers you can call, you also have the therapy option.

On a lighter note, I will be posting Saturday Night Glee-ver later, and maybe another one if I'm up for it:)
