The red carpet is much more of a bigger deal than Doctor Sleep was. Nearly everyone waiting behind the metal barriers are dressed up as Liam or Lily, despite Liam and Lily not having a suit of significance.
There's bright lights and massive wall-size posters planted everywhere. Nobody knows what they're about to watch...even Charlie and Dan who haven't seen the film in it's full entirety. But Aubrey on the other hand stands to one side of the carpet talking to the press about the film's importance and meaning.
Meanwhile Dan and Charlie are doing a double interview while the less important characters dominate the 'blue' carpet. Marvel basically has said screw the cliché red carpet.
"How are you guys feeling?!" An American girl says every enthusiastically into her microphone, whilst the video camera is mainly focused on the actors rather than her.
"Good." Dan says nodding his head while he continues to anxiously chew his gum.
Charlie on the other hand helplessly smiles while she points to the poster behind them. "I thought this day would never come...but here we are." She playfully pushes Dan backwards for a second, but he soon sways forwards. Dan smiles at her two-way answer.
"Wait a minute!" The interviewer shouts whilst Charlie slides her fingers through her hair and pushes it backwards. She can feel a few strands sticking to her lipgloss.
"Huh?" Charlie laughs for a second whilst looking confused, she thinks that she's missed something. But she hasn't.
The interviewer then points at both her and Dan's hands. "Is there something you two aren't telling us?" Both Fan And Charlie's eye's widen before they both smile at each other.
"Nah." Charlie immediately says.
"Nothing that needs to be said." They both know that they're going to have to reveal that they've got married to the world before their families and friends find out.
"Are you sure, because those bands totally match! What a beautiful colour..." Dan and Charlie shrugs at the exact same time, they're not sure what they can say to cover it up for a little while longer.
So they say nothing.
Instead Charlie awkwardly smiles at the interviewer...it's a silent hint to change the topic, of which she thankfully does. "Dan, isn't this your first time going to a premiere of a film that you're starring in?" Dan nods his head once again but this time he opens his mouth, like he's going to talk, and reveals his chipped top tooth.

"Technically yes...but I have been to a premiere of a film that I've been in before. But that premiere doesn't particularly count in my eyes, considering it was for my band's film at the Grammy Museum. I've never even seen myself act...I mean I've seen a bit...but the trailers went so fast! Me and Charlie are literally in the dark about everything." While they both know what's going to happen at the end of the film...there's a few surprise scenes that Aubrey has added with their 'deleted footage'.
"Really?" The interviewer looks disbelieved that Dan hasn't seen the film.
"I know, I know." Dan laughs with a smile growing larger on his face.
"So we've got a game called fuck, marry, kill...and we need some answers from you both." Both Dan and Charlie nod their heads. They've played more controversial games...like Cards Against Humanity.
"Out of all of the Avengers including your characters who would you...pick?" Charlie then smiles looking at Dan.
"I personally would fuck Thor from Endgame. I'd probably end up marrying this dude because my expectations of beer bellied Thor are still too high, but that being said I'll probably end up killing Dan." Charlie then smiles at her long detailed answer.
"One word: wow. Dan, your turn." Dan shrugs his shoulders back.
"Fuck Lizzie Olsen...or Scarlett, marry Charlie, kill...oh shit...what's that small hyperactive dude? Like he's British and young...but he is so energetic. It makes me feel incredibly jealous." Charlie shakes her head with a smile.
"How dare you kill Spider-Man, he's just a baby!" Dan hasn't really met much of the cast, though he ran into some of them at the Comic-Con event when they was promoting Spider-Man.
"I literally could FaceTime Tom Holland right now and tell him that a thirty three year old man wants to kill him." Dan shakes his head while Charlie nods her's.
"Why do you even have his number though?" Charlie shrugs.
"Long story short but a couple of years ago when we was newbies to Marvel...we went out and got drunk. I literally woke up on his parents, Nikki and Dom's, sofa. I think that they thought I was dead?" Charlie then snorts in embarrassment.
"Oh my god!" The interviewer laughs while Charlie nods her head.
"I mean I hope he's not changed his number. I know the last time I saw him his phone was...cracked beyond belief." Stars usually keep their SIM card but discard their phones. Tom Holland has done just that, so he has his same number.

Charlie then taps away on her phone and calls Tom, who plays Spider-Man, up. She nearly has the whole entire Avengers cast on her phone, all except Downey. He's one of the cast members who doesn't dish around his number, the rest of the MCU cast are pretty chill. They're like one big fucked up family.
"I mean it's ringing..." Charlie shrugs while Dan gives her the look of 'why are you doing this'. He's embarrassed to say the least. Although, she's just bored and wants to call as many other stars up as possible.
A few seconds later and Tom Holland picks up the call whilst looking surprised. "No way!" The interviewer says in disbelief whilst Tom cracks a smile, though he's very unprepared at the moment considering he's reshooting some scenes for his new film 'Cherry' which is due out in a few months.
"Is an interview?" He curiously asks with a smile while he fiddled his characters dog tags.
The interviewer nods her head while he laughs. "Knew it!" He calls out before holding the phone up above his head while he sits down next to his white trailer. He squints a little while he then reveals his best friend, Harrison, sitting besides him. He knows that this 'interview' probably be everywhere on his timeline for the next couple of days.
"Not your interview birch!" Charlie then pops her head around, while Tom laughs in relief. He wasn't really prepared to do an interview of any kind. But at least he knows he won't be on the phone for long.
"Charlie..." Tom almost laughs while Harrison stops playing around on his phone and points at the screen with a smile. Both of them have a weird crush on Charlie, but Harrison freely admits it.
"And this guy here!" Charlie laughs while she points the phone immaturity in Dan's face. Tom nods his head with a smile again, of course he's more confused as to why Charlie is calling, but he's still happy...even though he has barely met Dan. However, Tom is very aware of who he is.
"So we're doing a fuck marry avoid thing...and Dan said he'd kill you. How do you feel?" Tom's eyes widen for a second before he shrugs.
"I feel...pretty shi-" before he can continue to say 'shitty' Tom hold's his mouth, despite Charlie swearing seconds before.
"I feel pretty terrible. Wait...do you mean me as in...me? Or 'me' as in Peter Parker?" Dan awkwardly scratches the back of his head whilst feeling very uncomfortable. In all honesty he just wants to get the premiere and the after party done and over with so he can give his bride a night to remember...but that isn't going to happen any time soon.
"Peter Parker." Dan laughs whilst Tom squints his eyes, he does this because he knows Dan probably wasn't meaning to 'kill' Peter Parker. There's no bad blood between them at all, and in fact Tom's quite humoured by the randomness of the call.
"Right..." his voice trails off whilst Dan laughs.
"I can't wait for your new film man. Like..." Dan has no idea what his new film even is, he's just presuming since he's a young and good looking guy in Hollywood.
Of course he'll be making more movies.
"Which one? The Devil All The Time or Chaos Walking...or Cherry?" Dan has no idea what the young actor is talking about. Instead he just nods his head with a fake smile.
Although he does know a bit about the 'Cherry' film, considering he's also encountered one of the Russo brothers who left the world shaken by Endgame last year. "Cherry." Tom cracks a smile before nodding his head.
"Harrison was literally online just now about to buy midnight tickets for Illusion. Me and my brothers are completely hyped for this film." With that Charlie makes an awe noise as she then sees someone in the background telling them to hurry up with that interview and to move on.
"Tom, we gotta go now...but I'll text you tomorrow yeah?" Tom nods his head whilst Charlie then gets everyone to say their goodbyes before hanging up. Harrison however was planning on making a quick joke by saying 'I love you' but the call ended early.
"Well...I better let you guys go." The American interviewer says while she spots several people looking pissed off that they're still waiting.
"Lovely speaking to you!" Charlie says before she waves whilst being pushed away by her personal assistant for the night, as so does Dan.
It's going to be a long night for everyone. Dan thinks to himself whilst sighing at all the reporters they have yet got to talk to.

Beyond Floating
Muse thought her life had ended twenty years ago because, well, it had. Existing aimlessly for two decades as a ghost, she finds herself yanked along in a rip-tide of strange events. Thrust unwittingly into the midst of a group of paranormal hitmen-for-hire led by a man named Isaac. Michael, a normally rational and righteous holy soldier of God, succumbs to revenge and hatred, sacrificing everything in the fight to destroy Isaac and everyone who associates with him. Muse, by virtue of her inadvertent association with Isaac, is on that list. This is actually my first 'finished' fiction that I've ever written, which I completed about 8 years ago. I dug it up recently and I'm posting it as I thought people here might get a kick out of it. So, take that for what you will. Chapters will be released daily at 6:00pm EST.
