The only other people on the plane, other than the air crew, is Aubrey and her wife. Both of them sit tight lipped whilst holding a champagne flute away from them, with one leg draped over the other. Charlie watches them in humour while Dan teaches Kyle how to give Lacey her bottle.
The reason why Aubrey and Dakota are so serious is because of their upcoming afflicting schedules. The wife duo are both directors for big budget Hollywood films, so they're basically going to be competing against one another for the highest box office score. They've both yet to even cast people for the film, though. Dakota is eyeing up Dan for the lead role in her upcoming film. Whereas Aubrey, of course, is signing Charlie up for her lead.
They've yet to tell the couple.
"Psst..." Charlie childishly whispers in boredom from behind Aubrey's seat.
Aubrey doesn't move, although she can hear Charlie trying to get her attention. "Psst" Charlie this times says louder. The immature smile on her face grows, but nobody notices.
"Psst!" Charlie says while she lets out a nervous laugh at the end.
"Ps-" Aubrey cuts her off.
"Do that one more fucking time! I dare you." Charlie jumps back while Aubrey sharply turns around in her seat looking very annoyed.
"Swear in front of my baby one more time. I dare you." Aubrey's eyes then trail off and spots Lacey looking at her while Dan and Kyle talk in depth about Bastille.
She smiles at the little girl with a happy face and sparkling deep blue eyes. She looks exactly like Charlie, although her eyes aren't her mother's.
"Sorry..." Aubrey apologises while Charlie bursts out laughing.
"It's only a fucking joke. Nah, her first word is gonna be 'fuck you' or something." Charlie, who is amused by the truth, then snorts like a pig before laughing even harder.

"Why did you want to eat my attention?!" Aubrey snaps while Charlie shrugs.
"I wanna get Lace christened, you know? And apparently I have to have a godmother...and I don't have a sister or brother...or female friends...and I need a person from my side..." this is extremely awkward for Charlie to say, considering how she dislikes Aubrey for past events. Although, she's trying to put that in the past.
Her father was apparently a forgiving person, or so she believes.
"Why don't you just get your mom to do it?"
Charlie then looks away to the side in nerves. "Because you've been there for me and Lacey more than she has." That's when Aubrey batters her eyes open from one of her painful migraines and looks at Charlie in complete shock.
"Did you just..." Aubrey's voice trails off while Charlie nods her head.
"The cancer isn't back, is it?" Aubrey whispers while she literally kneels and turns around on her seat, with both of her legs dangling off the edge.
"What? No!" Charlie loudly whispers while Aubrey looks seemingly confused.
"No. I'm actually being nice...if you don't want to be Lacey's godmother then I'll just ask Dan's sister. But she hasn't really been much of an aunt..." Fran has only seen Lacey twice, and Charlie once. Their meeting was very brief.
"I'm just...in shock." Aubrey whispers while Dan's eyes flicker away from Kyle's for a second...as he then notices the strange sight of Aubrey and Charlie whispering amongst themselves.
"Hold her for a minute." Dan says while he kisses Lacey on the jeep before gently passing her over to Kyle whole rubs her back, getting rid of her trapped wind.
Dan then stands up and walks towards Charlie's sofa where he notices both of the women have tears in their eyes, although he knows that they'll try denying them if he brings the tears up. So it's better if he doesn't ask about that, rather than the fact the two women are casually speaking to each other.

"Is everything...okay?" Dan asks whilst looking very confused.
"Go away..." Charlie tries to shoo him away with the back of her hand, but Dan doesn't budge. Instead he laughs at her guts, there's no way he can to this to Charlie without getting an earful. But he's learnt that she's always right...even when most of the time Charlie's technically always wrong.
"Charlotte." Aubrey snaps through her joy.
"Dan, come and join us. Charlie move over." Aubrey is delighted to see Dan's presence. She wants to know whether Charlie is telling the truth about wanting her to become Lacey's godmother. Surely she'll tell her fiancé the truth. Aubrey thinks to herself with a smile while Dan picks up Charlie's legs before sliding under them.
Charlie on the other hand grits her teeth. She doesn't want Dan to know that she's personally asked Aubrey. "What's going on over here then?" Dan awkwardly laughs while Charlie then shrugs.
"Not much." She lies while Aubrey rolls her eyes.
"Your fiancée has just asked me to be Lacey's godmother." With that even Dakota leans forwards in her chair. She overheard tiny bits of their conversation, but this is just mind blowing.
She thinks Charlie is up to some mischief and will probably have an unneeded argument with Aubrey...yet again.
"What the fuck?" Dan sniggers in shock whilst pointing at his soon-to-be bride.
Charlie looks away feeling completely defeated. "So what? I asked her to be Lacey's godmother, big deal. Go and tell your mates at the news stations so they can make it breaking news!" Charlie, who's clearly embarrassed, then tries to suffocate herself by diving her head into the cushioned sofa. But Dan who is ecstatic that Charlie isn't all 'hate' grabs her shoulders and moves her backwards and into his arms.
It's like a child who is holding a puppy the incorrect way.
"You have a soft side!" He immaturely teases while Aubrey laughs at their love...and of course Charlie's moody temperamental face.
"Shut up." Charlie says while she thinks of a way to excuse herself from the 'embarrassing' mess that she's made.
"Never." Aubrey plays along while Charlie bites her inner cheek whilst trying not to laugh with them. She's very stubborn.
