It's been nearly five weeks since the wrap party and seemingly not much has happened...expect for the fact that the reason went through a rough patch was because there's no evidence of cancer! She's no in recovery as a cancer free woman. Day by day she's getting stronger, as well as eating more and more.

But there's hardly any time to celebrate since Charlie and Dan are getting ready to fly around the world for Illusion press conferences which are going to be happening very soon...although it's not Dan's 'soon'.

It's actually soon.

"Did you pack Lacey's penguin?" Lacey has took a shine to a specific soft toy. It looks cartoonish but is soft and round. She can't really grasp it yet so she can only touch it with one hand, but the feel soothes her.

"Yeah...I think I have." To which Dan responds while Charlie's jaw drops.

"No! She's been looking for it! What suitcase is it in?" Charlie then leans over the bed and zips open the first suitcase, the one that's nearest to her. Dan, however, laughs in confusion.

"Lace can't talk yet...how do you know she's been looking for it?" Charlie then stops looking erratically for the soft toy and almost stands up while she thinks about the answer. She doesn't know exactly how she knows that her daughters been looking for it...she just...knows.

"I think it's a mum thing." Charlie knows every single one of Lacey's quirks. She knows when her daughter is tired, sad, hungry, anxious, mad, happy and so fourth. But she can tell when Lacey is also confused. Her face is like an open book and very easy to 'read', just like Dan's.

"She hasn't really cried for the thing..." Dan's voice trails off while Charlie gives him a long continuous look.

They've not even technically moved in with each other but they're already down each other's throats.

"Lacey hasn't been taking her usual afternoon naps. I think she misses the routine, why did you take it out of her cot?" Dan shrugs his shoulders back while the girl of the hour begins to scream her lungs out, she isn't even remotely upset, she merely wants attention.

"I'll go. You just find Rhino!" Dan looks confusedly at Charlie.

"What the fuck is Rhino? She doesn't have anything to do with a Rhino? Do you mean dinosaur?" As much as Lacey adores the penguin soft toy, she also is fascinated by dinosaurs.

"Rhino is the penguins name."

Dan then leans forwards while he laughs in hysterics. Never has he heard anything more stupid! "Why the fuck is the penguin called Rhino?"

"Because I was saying a list of animal animals and she laughed when I said Rhino, hence miss Rhino."

"Miss Rhino? Like...it's a girl?" Charlie nods her head.

"Fuck me." Dan then shrugs.

"You're both really....strange. You know that right?" He points at his fiancée while Charlie nods her head, however Lacey decides to scream a decibel higher.

Without another word Charlie then disappears from the room and happily skips into Lacey's pink nursery. Even though they've been living between houses, they stay more at Charlie's place than Dan's, hence why they painted Lacey's nursery here and not in Dan's place. Although they'll keep both of the houses, one can be Lacey's when she turns of age.

"Jesus..." Charlie almost stumbles back as Lacey does a ear shuddering scream, but luckily she doesn't. Instead she pops her head over the top of the cot and Lacey miraculously stops screaming...instead she smiles while Charlie admires her in awe.

"Do you wanna see daddy, huh? Is that your problem?" Dan normally says goodnight to his daughter every single night and she's always been a good girl and gone to sleep, they're lucky she sleeps soundlessly through the night unlike other parents.

However, Dan tonight had completely forgotten about the routine...but Lacey clearly hasn't.

Charlie picks her daughter up and holds her up straight, whilst Lacey's head rests against her neck. "We're going to go all over the world..." Charlie whispers while embracing her daughters love.

"You're gonna be bored by my voice the time it ends..." Lacey then turns her head around and looks at Charlie.

"You can't scream because you want mummy and daddy, okay? I know it's going to be hard, I know." They don't know what other new parents do in press conferences, but all they know is that they're going to be sat in the same hotel room for hours talking about the same old things.

Charlie then walks back into the bedroom while Dan stops what he is doing and smiles at the sight of his wide awake daughter. "This is because I forgot to read to her, isn't it?" Charlie nods her head while Dan holds his arms out.

"You calm her down, boring sod." Dan's jaw drops wide open before he kisses Lacey on her head while she looks around the room maniacally.

"I think I'm going to cry...she wants Rhino!" While Charlie might be the slightest bit over dramatic, Lacey is actually trying to look for the toy.

Dan tilts his head backwards while Charlie takes everything they put in the suitcases out, only to find Rhino in the pocket on the other side. "Lacey! Look what mummy found..." but Lacey doesn't look.

"Rhino!" Charlie shouts, quicker than anything her head turns around and she's greeted by one of her favourite people holding her favourite thing.

In Dan's arms she jumps up and down in excitement while Charlie places the soft toy in between Lacey and Dan so it doesn't fall. In appreciation she immediately closes her eyes while snuggling up against it.

"Fucking told you!" Charlie whispers in awe while Dan gently holds his daughters head so she doesn't get neck pain.

"I hate the fact that she's attached to a penguin called Rhino that is a girl..." Charlie shrugs.

"There's nothing you can do about it now." She says while Dan sways from left to right with a smile settled upon his lips.
