"Dan, where do you think you're going!" Aubrey shouts across the room while everyone is gathering their things together for the Easter week off.
Dan points to the door confusedly. "Maybe go and grab a packet of cigarettes then go home...why?!" Dan shouts back while holding open the door for some of the makeup team. Aubrey is disbelieved that Dan has clearly forgotten about Charlie's...revelation.
"I need you and Charlie to stay. Can you go and get her?" Aubrey feels the right to be present. All she's ever done is support her, even if Charlie doesn't realise.
"Okay..." Dan mumbles as he goes out of the room to find Charlie.
Aubrey on the other hand stands akimbo, watching Dan through the glass doors wrap both of his arms around Charlie. She has just got changed into her normal everyday clothes...which are far from being normal. She proudly wears pastel pink silk crop top, to show her flat abs, and flowery silk pastel pink trousers.
Dan then obviously explains that Aubrey needs them before Charlie tries yanking Dan towards the door, he smiles and pushes her towards the glass doors where he's just came from.
"Stupid fucking bitch wants us to stay behind just because she hates us being happy-oh, hi Aubrey!" Charlie says while she walks into the room with a false smile on her face. Aubrey looks away for a second or two while the last person walks out of the room, carrying a small pink suitcase.
Aubrey then removes her hand from behind her back and passes her a long thin box. "Jesus Christ..." Dan shakes his head while Charlie immediately snatches it off of her.
A state of the art pregnancy test. 99% accuracy within the first 3-5 days.

"What end do I piss on?" Charlie nudges Dan with her elbow while his eyes widen.
"Look at it." With that Charlie hands Dan the box while he reads the back. He doesn't take any of the words in, but he presumed it will be the end where the cap is.
"I think you take that bit off and then piss on it." He whispers while Charlie nods her head.
Dan looks at Charlie's flat abs and tells himself that this is just a scare. That she's probably forgotten that she's on the pill, so that explains the lateness of her period. Then again, if she is pregnant it'll explain her strange morning sickness that she's been having for a week or two now. And being even more hungry than usual...but then again Charlie likes her food so probably has nothing to do with it.
"Wicked." Charlie doesn't really care if she is or not. She's always wanted a family of her own. At the moment she has bigger things on her plate, like the film and helping composing the album score. Just the other day she got told that Howie, the creator of their characters, wants her to team up and help write a Marvel prequel comic to the film. Charlie then awkwardly backs away from Aubrey and Dan and quickly walks to the toilet.
After a minute Aubrey then faces Dan with a shy smile. "She really is the daughter of the mad man." Dan nods his head. Charlie isn't 'mad' like her father was, although at times Dan knows that is is different from the other girls. But she's definitely not like Holly. Charlie suffers with anxiety, and gets easily anxious over the littlest of things. She tries to be nice to everyone on most days, and hates people feeling left out....but sometimes she has off days where all she wants is for the world to go away.

"Whatever you did or said to her father...she really fucking hates you. I think it's stupid personally." Aubrey closes her eyes for a seconds, and embraces that fact. She hates feeling hated.
"Joe was a good guy...well he was barely a guy. He this skinny eighteen year old with heart shaped eyes for his little girl. I was a fucking bitch to that boy, and I deserve the all hate I get from her. I was the reason why she had nobody who loved her growing up. So don't you dare think for a second that Charlie is being irrational or stupid...because she isn't."
Dan doesn't say anything. Instead he crosses his arms before taking a deep breath. "I lost my ex to suicide." Aubrey then cringes, she wasn't expecting Dan to know what is feels like.
"Dan...I'm so sorry I didn't-" Dan cuts her off with a smile.
"It's okay not to be sorry, you didn't know her. Nobody knew her. The first thing I got taught by a grief group was that we can't blame ourselves for someone else's decisions. They took their own life for a reason. Sure, we can be apart of the reason...but we didn't physically force them. That was their choice." Say's Dan who still has survivors guilt.
"I'm sorry that you had to go through that." Aubrey whispers before Charlie shuffles out of the bathroom with tears in her eyes, despite them already being red raw.
"Babe!" Dan shouts in shock as he quickly rushes up to her.
Charlie then holds her mouth after giving Dan the pregnancy test, her pale hands are trembling from nerves. What was a simple joke about Charlie being hungry...has now turned into a unplanned pregnancy,,,.

War is coming - And when it comes - And where it comes - And whence it comes - The living shall envy the dead One to carry their sword in the name of their goddess and lady, to protect their land and people against the threat of the wicked. They know their path to be the righteous one. One to roam the land, hunting for all apparitions, and be scorned by man and beast alike. They know their path to be an arduous one. One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.

8 147The Shattered Circle
Aleyr Frostborn has survived a hundred prophecies of her defeat, breaking each one by slaying the champions of light sent to kill her. Amongst the forces of good, her very name is a curse, and with good reason. Beyond her own evil, it is said that so long as she lives, the reign of the Godslayer himself will last: the lich king who the terrified masses call the King in Black. While the kingdoms and empires that surround the blighted lands of the undead lands struggle to survive and beat back the tide of evil, the machinations of the Eternal Kingdom's dark court barely contain the bitter struggles for power between the forces that have made it what it is. With one foretold hero brutally snuffed out, another will inevitably arise. For Aleyr, the cycle only further embitters her towards the gods of good and all those who serve them. But the truth is that her downfall might be something much closer to home than their prophecies, those last dregs of mortality beating inside her own chest. With a thoughtless intersection between cruelty and mercy, she begins a chain of events that threatens to tear the Eternal Kingdom and her own loyalties into shreds. After all, many things can be broken, not just prophecies.
