《RWBY: Godzilla》Devastation

I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst night of my life.
It was the most heartbreaking, the most terrifying, the most tragic experience I've ever had to go through. The lengths (Y/N) went to for revenge, and the fact that he tried to kill me, and killed even more innocent people. It's a night that I, and everyone else in Vale, will never forget.
Godzilla was seen making his way towards land, slowly rising from the water the closer he got. Unlike last time, where the military immediately opened fire, this time, they waited. The electrical lines were built to keep him out, and if things went according to plan, they would.
Godzilla took his first couple steps onto land, and took a look at the electrical lines. Having been a part of the human world before, he knew exactly what they were.
As we watched Godzilla look at the electrical lines, all of us had our questions. Was he going to leave? Was he going to test it? Was he going to find a way around? Was he just going to bust through? Would it even work?
Then, to our surprise, Godzilla stepped into the electrical lines. I still remember jumping in fear as I heard the sound of the electricity shocking him. But, other than a frustrated growl, he showed no signs of pain.
The military opened fire, and everyone prayed their missiles combined with the electricity surging through Godzilla's body would kill him.
And though I had my hopes, a part of me hoped it wouldn't work. I still loved him. I just hoped that if he didn't die, he'd leave. I hated what he was doing.
But Godzilla showed no signs of quitting. He swung his arms at the electrical towers, knocking them down. But he was still somewhat tangled in the electrical wires, and he swung his tail back, smashing another tower.
Then, he did something that still horrifies me to this day.
I looked to his back, and those dorsal fins I used to find intriguing started glowing (F/C). He opened his mouth, and I could see a (F/C) glow in his throat, making its way out of his body.
Suddenly, a (F/C) ray blasted from his mouth, destroying the other towers as it hit them.
My jaw dropped as I started to realize how powerful Godzilla really was. He looked down at the people below, and let out a deafening roar.
There was no defending Vale now.
I remembered my objective, and, as Godzilla made his way through Vale, smashing buildings, trampling civilians, and burning both with his (F/C) ray, I ran through the streets, calling out for Emi.
"Emi!" I called. "Emi Lectrie!"
As I ran out of the sidewalk and into the streets, I was nearly knocked over by the stampede fleeing civilians.
Godzilla stormed downtown, blasting buildings with his (F/C) ray. A couple staff and students still in the kingdom blasted at him. Their weapons had no effect, obviously, and he looked down to them, baring his teeth.
He spewed his (F/C) ray, burning them to a crisp.
"Emi!" I called, as an explosion occurred nearby. "Emi Lectrie!"
"Hello?!"
I turned, and I an adult woman someone looking in my general direction.
"Did someone call me?!" she yelled.
I ran to her. "Are you Emi Lectrie?!"
She looked at me. "Yes."
"Do you know a Y/N Lectrie?" I asked.
Her eyes widened. "Did you find my son?! Where is my son?!"
I sighed in relief. "Don't worry! He's safe! My friends brought him to Beacon! I've been sticking with him for a few days now, looking for you!"

She smiled. "Can you bring me to him?!"
"Yes! Follow me!"
I took her hand, and we took off running together, hoping to reach the last bullhead heading for Beacon.
Behind us, Godzilla continued kicking down buildings as he made his way through the kingdom, killing any living thing he saw. He walked through the place, kicking down more and more buildings as he went, and blasting even more with his (F/C) ray. The night sky was filled with explosions, Godzilla's deafening roar, and the screams of his victims.
Whenever I looked behind me to see Godzilla, it was still hard to believe this was the same (Y/N) (L/N) I loved deeply. How could he have turned from such a kind, shy, adorable kid to a cruel, destructive, terrifying monster in just a few days? But yet, despite all of this destruction, all of the pain and suffering he was causing, I still wasn't giving up on his. I knew I could save him. I just had to get Emi out of here first.
Firetrucks drove through the streets, hurrying to put out the fires. Even if they got far enough, they would've had too many fires to deal with.
Unfortunately, they didn't get far.
They turned a corner, and found themselves heading directly towards Godzilla!
The first firetruck crashed into Godzilla's giant leg, while the others swerved out of control. Some swerved too fast and started to roll, while others crashed into buildings, adding more damage to Godzilla's rampage.
Godzilla bared his teeth at the easily destroyed firetrucks, and I could tell he was disappointed at how easily they were destroyed. It was like his mere presence caused disaster.
As Emi and I turned a corner, we quickly halted, and moved aside as tanks drove passed, making their way towards the giant monster.
They opened fire, and their missiles crashed against Godzilla's body. But they had no effect. As if more out of desperation than obligation, the tanks continued firing at Godzilla, with no results other than angering the beast even more.
Godzilla let out another roar, challenging the tanks to continue shooting.
But they didn't.
Instead, they began backing away. If anyone had any hope that maybe we could still get Godzilla away, it was completely gone now.
Godzilla blasted his (F/C) ray at the ground, causing an explosion. Flames ignited on the ground, and they started making their way to the tanks.
Emi and I finally made it to the bullhead take-off platform.
"We made it!" I said. "You'll be seeing your son soon!"
But the bullhead was full, and a crowd was trying to get in, while people shoved them aside.
"T-There isn't enough room!" Emi said.
We heard Godzilla's roar behind us, and I started to panic.
"We can't fail!" I said. "Not when we're so close!"
But then, I heard the sound of propellers rotating, and I looked back to the bullhead to see it taking off, making its way out of Vale.
"NO!" I screamed, pushing through the crowd with Emi, and looking up at the bullhead. "COME BACK!"
Then, I heard Godzilla roar, and I turned around to see him glaring at the bullhead, his jaws open, and his mouth glowing (F/C).
"COME BACK!" I screamed. "HE'S GOING TO--"
But Godzilla spewed his (F/C) ray from his mouth, and the bullhead exploded. The now-crispy-vehicle spun out of control as it fell to the ground.
We ran out of the way, and it hit the floor, crushing a few civilians underneath. Emi and I looked back at the flaming bullhead.

"What do we do now?" Emi asked.
I looked back up at Godzilla, who was roaring into the sky.
This was my chance. I knew (Y/N) was in that monster somewhere. If I could just reach out to him, maybe I could save him, and everyone else in Vale.
I stood up, and turned to Emi.
"He used to be my boyfriend," I said. "Maybe I can reach out to him."
"What?!" she said, having no clue what I was talking about.
I turned back to look at Godzilla as he looked down to the crowd I stood in, and prepared his (F/C) ray. I took a deep breath.
"Here goes nothing," I said.
I ran out of the crowd, and I stood in front of them, arms spread.
"(Y/N)!" I shouted.
Godzilla heard my voice, and he looked down to me. He stopped dead in his tracks, and the (F/C) light in his mouth faded. He glared down to me, baring his teeth, clearly trying to figure out what to do about me.
"(Y/N), this isn't you!" I yelled. "I know what happened on that ship looked bad, but I swear I didn't know they were going to do that! I'd never do anything like that to you!"
Godzilla's glare started to soften. (Y/N) was coming back. I knew he was.
"I know you feel like the world is against you!" I said. "And I... I understand!"
Godzilla seemed to be growing softer the more I spoke. It had to be working! I started to slowly approach, and he wasn't reacting. He just watched. It had to be (Y/N)!
"(Y/N), look around you!" I said.
Godzilla looked around at the burning city he had created. I knew it! It was (Y/N)!
"Look how many people you're killing!" I said. "Most of them, you don't even know! They're all being killed! For no reason, other than what other people did to you!"
(Y/N) looked down to me, with an upset look on his face.
"I know you've been hurt!" I said. "But we can still work together! They can turn you back! Then we can leave together! We can run away, just like we planned! We won't have to worry about anyone who knows what you've done!"
(Y/N) started to look uneasy. I could tell he didn't believe me. I guess he thought I couldn't possibly still love him after everything he'd done.
"I know this is hard to believe!" I said. "But I don't blame you for anything that you've done! After all the destruction you've caused, after all the people you've killed... I still love you..."
Suddenly, (Y/N) grew enraged, and he let out a loud roar. He did not believe me. Any hope I had of saving (Y/N) was gone. Godzilla was back.
Godzilla opened his mouth, and I could see the (F/C) glow in his jaws as he prepared to kill us all.
Suddenly, Emi grabbed me by the arm, and ran off, tugging me with her as Godzilla fired at the fleeing crowd.
"You tried your best!" Emi yelled through the sounds of screaming, and Godzilla's (F/C) ray. "Whoever he used to be is long gone by now!"
I started to tear up. I couldn't believe it.
I failed.
Godzilla continued storming through the kingdom, coming up to a clock tower. The clock struck 12:00, and the bells started to ring, annoying the rampaging beast. He grabbed the top of the tower, and tugged it off, the rubble falling onto the civilians below.
He continued making his way through the kingdom, a trail of flames left behind wherever he went.
I could hear the sounds of innocent people screaming in fear or pain the more his rampage continued.
Emi and I ducked into an alleyway as Godzilla started to pass. I thought he'd pass, and pay no attention. But, instead, he turned his head, and looked directly at us. He roared, havin found his target.
I reached for Crescent Rose, but knowing this was the one I loved too much to hate, I couldn't grab it. Unable to defend myself, let alone Emi, I made the only other decision I could think of.
"This way!" I said, and I tugged Emi through a nearby door, into a building.
But my quick thinking proved to be a huge mistake.
Godzilla began walking away from the building, but as he passed, his tail swung at it, causing it to collapse.
I gasped in shock as I heard the building collapsing, floor by floor.
"This was a bad idea," I said.
We ran to the door, but before we could reach it, the roof collapsed on us.
I was pinned by a pillar, and was bleeding from the lip, forehead, nose, pretty much anywhere. But Emi was in a much worse condition than I was. She was stuck with her chest down, which was much more uncomfortable than my position, with rubble pinning half her body, and a pipe sticking out from her shoulder.
"Hang on, Emi!" I wheezed. "I'll get us out of here!"
I gasped for air as I tried to push the pillar off, but it was too heavy. I wanted to reach for Crescent Rose, but it was stuck underneath the pillar with me.
But things were only getting worse on the surface.
Godzilla began approaching a radio tower, with reporters still standing on it, filming the whole attack. People could still see the reports of the people on the tower after the attack. They could see Godzilla sinking his teeth into the tower, and bending the metal until the tower collapsed.
Godzilla then turned his attention to Beacon Academy. He bared his teeth as the memories of everything that had happened there flashed in his mind. He turned to face it completely, and he began to slowly charge up his (F/C) ray to fire at the academy. Then, he opened his jaw wide, and blasted Beacon, causing it to explode.
He roared in victory for destroying the source of his transformation.
At this point, the entire kingdom was nothing but a ruin of its former self, and Godzilla made his way back to the ocean, and to a bridge.
A crowd of people who weren't in Beacon when it exploded crowded on the cliff, and watched as the beast grasped the bridge with his claws, and tilted it off its foundations, and tossed it into the ocean, sending waves crashing onto the docks.
As the survivors watched Godzilla leave, they all felt a sense of dread. This creature seemed unkillable at this point, and there was no doubt in anyone's minds that if he didn't come back to Vale, he'd go somewhere else.
Then, they started to feel a little hope as they saw Atlesian airships flying to Godzilla, and opening fire.
The missiles had no effect, which was no surprise to anyone at this point, but it didn't stop anyone from cheering them on.
Godzilla continued moving into the ocean, snarling as the airships fired at him. I knew he was annoyed since he was already leaving, making this attack completely useless.
He spun around, and fired his (F/C) ray at one of the airships, sending them crashing into the ocean.
The cheering stopped, and the other airships ceased fire as Godzilla turned back around, and continued to move away from the kingdom, disappearing under the dark waves of the ocean.
