《Demugad In The Battee of Blood》PERCY's Final Battle?

My face hurt, my whole body felt numb and tired. Reyna had said that I caused a really huge storm after.... well.... She also told me how the rest of our friends died, all I can think about is that Jason and Piper would still be here if I could have controlled my emotions. I knew right then that I should be the one to die if it came down to the final two and it was me and either Leo or Reyna.
"What did you say to Annabeth before the aircraft took her?" Reyna asked? I could hardly look at Reyna anymore, she reminded me too much of Annabeth, nothing by looks but because of the same attitude and composure.
"I just told her to wait for me in Elysium." I smiled but couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks.
"If it came down to you and someone in the final two, would you forfeit?" I hadn't thought of this, Annabeth was my only reason for being here and now she was gone.
"I'm sure if it was you or Leo than 100 percent, but I don't think I could just let Maverick win without putting up a fight." Leo walked into the cave with just as much energy as he's always had.
"Hey, I really think we should leave, we have enough food for now and if we need more we can come back." I didn't disagree this time, we packed up the belongings we still needed. We gathered our friends tarps and burned them, it may not be a proper burial shroud from camp, but it would have to do.
I was supposed to be the strong one but Annabeth was gone and I couldn't hold up for much longer without breaking down. I heard a branch crack from somewhere behind us, I turn around and so do Leo and Reyna. "Electra? What are you doing here?" Leo blurted out.

"I just needed to tell you that Maverick is waiting by the cornucopia for the feast, he only has a sword and with all three of you against him then you'll be able to take him."
"Why would you be telling us this?" Reyna asked, this hadn't crossed my mind, but she was smart and calculated.
"Once Maverick is dead then I will have better odds of winning, and most likely one of you will die trying to kill him, greater odds. Then I doubt you will stay in a final two just to kill me, you would kill the other, greater odds. Then the last one of you will be tired from killing the others, and wow, greater odds. So next time don't ask me such a dumb question." I liked this girl, the way her mind worked was very similar to Annabeth's.
"That's creepy, you sure you don't want to come with us?" Leo asked her skeptically.
"I am sure, I will be in the trees watching." At that she scurried up a tree Without any branches for at least 20 feet. We decided to trust her and started heading straight to the cornucopia.
"I see him, stay low, be quite." Reyna crouched down, Maverick was pacing in the opening of the huge metal horn of plenty.
"Ambush or massacre?" I whisper, my eyes stayed locked on Maverick and I could tell I was scaring Leo.
"Ambush, surround him, Leo and I will be on either side of the cornucopia and Percy, you walk up to Maverick, hands up in a motion of surrender. Whenever he starts coming at you Leo and I will attack."
"Good idea, you two go, give me a signal when you are ready." They moves through the overgrowth and snuck into place on either side of the cornucopia. Reyna gave me a thumbs up, I was waiting for Leo to show his whenever he snapped a twig alerting Maverick that he was there. Maverick lunged towards the sound spotting Leo and stabbing him in the gut. He continues to search for his company.

Reyna frantically waved to summon me. She was distracted and he snuck up behind her and skewered her though, my stomach lurched. I ran up to him, sword in hand ready to strike, sadly he was too. He blocked my sword and in a battle of clangs and chings it was down to a final three. He finally got a slash on me down my torso. My jumpsuit was soaked and the rip showed a fatal cut. It didn't touch any organs, but I would definitely bleed out. I collapsed, I had barely any energy left, Maverick started to walk off when I threw my sword with all my strength piercing his back, he fell straight to the ground. You're welcome Electra, winner of the 55th Hunger Games.
I fell limp, I could still see though. It felt like I should be able to move, I tried but I couldn't to show I was still alive, but what was the point, now I would get to see Annabeth. I saw the hovercraft come and the claw pulled me up, a man shut my eyes... that's it I was dead. Is this was death felt like?
I wake up jolting up, my stomach was sore. Everything in the room was white, all I knew though was that this wasn't DOA Records.
THE END......
or is it?

Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.
