《Demugad In The Battee of Blood》The WILL to survive

My own boyfriend was apparently hiding from me and I somehow couldn't tell? I looked at the battle field and saw the one person I was supposed to protect, Lexus, laying there dead blood soaking her top, and worse, I was her killer's ally. I glared at Maverick, he was facing the rest of the group. They had sent Nico, Bee, and I to scrounge up any supplies left behind.
"How dare you pretend you weren't here!" I whisper yell as soon as we get to a spot where the camera's wouldn't focus on us. Bee shot her head towards me and looked suspicious.
"What, it wasn't my idea, it was Haymitch's and Bee wouldn't let me sneak away." He smiles and waves at her, she waves back but was definitely not smiling.
"What does she know, she must know something if you are so protective of her." I look at her and notice that she looks a lot like she could be a hunter of Artemis.
"Basically everything, like she knows I know you and that I'm from the past but she doesn't know anything else. The thing is Hazel and I think she may be a daughter of Hades or Pluto."
"If you are going to talk about me do it to my face!" She yells from the inside of the cornucopia.
"Do you want to know what I have been keeping from you?" Nico yells, she comes sprinting over to meet us almost knocking us down.
"Of course, you owe me an explanation with ever-"
"Meet my boyfriend, Will." He says cutting her off.
"That's it? I mean yeah that's not normal here but I mean neither are you." She looked disappointed, like she was expecting something bigger.
"Well that's not the big big news." She slouches like she has had enough of this. "I'll tell you once we don't have so much attention on us ok?" She has a small smile on her face after Nico said that.

"Let's go, we have everything." I said. We got back over to the group. It was large, 2/3 of the remaining tributes were allied together, no doubt the biggest in history.
"Look, we have to go out into the woods, there won't be a feast for at least a few days, right? So what is the purpose of staying here? The other tributes are in the woods." Annabeth says, mainly to the boy from 2, Maverick. The arena looked very similar to the one from the movies but I could tell it wasn't going to look like that for very long after hiking, I could smell salt water very close to where we were, lucky Percy.
My hands start to shake, I had a bow in my hand and a quiver on my back filled with arrows. Nico had a sword that looked more medieval than his. Bee had a pack of knifes, apparently she's pretty good at throwing them. Hazel had a Calvary sword and Frank had a bow. Annabeth and Percy had, surprisingly enough, weapons that looked identical to their's from home, just silver. Leo had a backpack with wire and mechanics in it. Reyna had a gladius strapped to her waist and Maverick had a spear in one hand and a sword in the other. Jason had a gladius on his belt and a sword in his hand and Piper had a dagger.
"Can we just go towards water, I want to get some food!" Percy says, trying to cover up the real reason.
"Fine, but it smells like salt water, so we will need some other source of water." Maverick said, probably the smartest thing I have heard from his mouth yet.
"Don't worry, there is a canteen in this backpack, and I'm going to assume there is one in her's too." Leo replied. So we went out into the woods... and no, not to grandmother's house we go.

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Sanguis
In a world inhabited by vampires, various factions are vying for dominance, whether through wars or grueling tournaments. In the midst of the conflict, two unsuspecting humans become caught in the battle. Note: My first story on here, I wanted to try writing a story with battles and leveling up, the kind of story where a character starts at the bottom and world their way up. I hope this story is a good chance to see what works and try out a few different ideas I’ve had.

The End
There are five days left. The End is a miracle 10,000 years in the making that will free all from the confines of the world. The gods will soon be born. There is nothing that can be done about this. Not a webnovel, but a screenplay, submitted as my dissertation for my screenwriting degree. Sort of experimental. I have learned that I dislike writing screenplays, but all the same, I thought I'd post it anyway so it's at least worth something that way.
