"I'm not your buddy, and I know more about these things than you do." Bee puts her hand on my arm to calm me down.

"Nico, calm down. I'm sorry Haymitch, he lost his whole family not too long ago."

"Well that's no excuse! Half the victors have lost their loved ones because... never mind, that's unimportant." Haymitch says slamming his glass on the table, surprisingly not breaking it.

"It's fine! Everyone just be quiet! If we aren't going to talk productive strategies then I'm going to talk to Effie." I start to stand up.

"Listen kid, if you want sponsors you need to be liked, especially by me. So far I'm only going to help Bee." He takes his feet off the table so he can make better eye contact with us.

"I think I'll be ok without your help." I start to walk out of this car to the car where Effie was. She was wearing a lime green wig with a neon orange dress.

"Hello dear, what do you need?" She says turning around to face me.

"I need a break from Haymitch, that's what I need."

"Well then you came to the perfect place. But you know he's not too bad, especially whenever he is slightly sober." She starts to chuckle.

"Yeah, he just doesn't like that I am more violent than Bee."

"He doesn't really like it whenever his mentees are aggressive, he's seen too many go that way." She brushes through her wig, this one was calm, it was a straight cut with bangs, which was out of her style.

"I'll take that in note, thanks Effie, I'll use that to my advantage later." I walk out of the car and back to the common car and sit back down to listen to the lecture Haymitch was giving us.
