I'd say that I have been keeping the secret of our quest pretty well. I mean I've only told one person and that's Bee, and technically I didn't even tell her, she figured it out. I guess it may have been because I was asking about every single little detail about the games. But anyways I was just standing here in the middle of crowd having an anxiety attack wanting to shadow travel out of this mess. I have never liked Leo very much but I did not like him 20 times more right now. After about 10 to 20 minutes a possibly teenage woman finally appears on stage there was also a young man on the right hand side. She had big frilly hair and looked kinda ridiculous, wait did I say kinda? She did look ridiculous.
"Welcome, welcome, happy 55th annual Hunger Games." Her voice went up and down. Her hair was a bubblegum pink and her outfit was a deep green they did not go together whatsoever. I look over at Bee and see her trying to make eye contact with me. She mouthed something, Effie? I've heard that name somewhere, probably from Piper fangirling.
Some boring documentary got shown on the screen, it lasted a good 5 minutes. No one seemed focused on the screen. "Now, ladies first." Effie says reaching her hand into the clear bowl filled with tiny pieces of paper. Bee had filled me in on this one, whoever's name was picked had to go to the games. Effie rolled her hand around and grabbed a small piece of paper. She walked back to the mic stand, which was a small way. "The female tribute is Bee Porte-Mort." French... her last name is french, I will have to ask Piper... wait... BEE!!!

I look at her and see a look of shock on her face. The piece of brown hair on her shoulder fell to her back. She was in the middle of the crowd, and no one from district 12 volunteers. I wonder if I should volunteer, I can't for her, but I could to protect her. I am also alone in this district, but I originally wasn't supposed to be alone, I was supposed to be with... WILL!!! Did he volunteer? Did he get picked??? My whole world starts to spin, Bee is about to be sent to her doom and Will, I don't know how Will is doing.
"Now let's get to the male tribute." I see Effie's crazy dress compared to Bee's simple black dress. Effie grasps a name from the bowl.
"I volunteer as tribute!" I yell as I run up to the stage. I see Bee's face distort in sadness, I can't even force myself to look at Fern, she is losing her daughter, and someone who has become like a son to her.
"Oh my, we have a tribute, what is your name young man?"
"Nico, my name is Nico Di Angelo."
(So I am not going by Effie's assumed age in the books, mainly because I want to do some Haymitch x Effie stuff, so please ignore that small detail)

A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.
