"Percy, is that your?" I start but I can't get it out.

"Dad... yup." His face was paler than Nico's after we freed him from the jar. We were still on the other side of the river and Poseidon was looking away. I can't help but wonder who the little boy was that was running around in the yard.

"Percy, we have to ask them for help to get into town."

"Annabeth, the town is just through those trees, you can see the city hall." He hasn't looked away from the scene of the happy father and son, those are the memories he would never get. I look at him, savior of Olympus, many people see him as that, but he is way more than a tough exterior. I start digging in my bag and grab something that Piper insisted I brought, a small contour palette that I am now reluctant I had. I put on the secret disguise to the point I can't tell who I am and swim over to the other side.

I walk slightly around the back to make it seem like I didn't just come straight from behind him. I look at his jacket to see it was labeled Odair... Finnick... I look at the boy again to see he matched the description perfectly. "Hey, Mr.Odair." I say walking towards Poseidon.

"Oh, hello miss, do I know you?" He says, trying to decide if he knows me or not.

"You know my mom, she just wanted to ask if you knew where the fish are most abundant today." I say, forcing myself not to look at Percy.

"Yes, it's the part of the river closest to city hall, straight down the river and to the leftRemember. to sign in for the reaping, if the capitol finds out you my not have a tongue soon." He says in a laughing matter.

"Ok, thank you sir." I start to walk back into the trees until he looks away. I start to swim to the other side to get to Percy and when I get to the other side I see that he was looking straight back at us.

"Annabeth, we should probably run..." He says as Poseidon stands up from his chair, immediately running to the river.

"Yeah, for once I agree with you seaweed brain." He grabs my wrist and starts running, getting chased by a god. We run into the trees and take a right, then a left, then up a tree. We rest on a tree branch waiting for Percy's dad to run by. Percy is leaning against the trunk of the tree.

"Well that answers that question. The gods are 100 percent still here." He motions for me to come closer to him. I scoot over to rest in his embrace. He smells like normal, like the ocean, but that could be partially because we were just in the ocean. I close my eyes until I hear a twig snap. I look down to see Poseidon. I stiffen back up and Percy holds me tighter. Poseidon finally walks out of sight and we climb down the tree.

"So we need to register for the reaping." 

"Ok, but first, I have to tell you something." He pauses.

"What Seaweed Brain?"

"Don't ever wear makeup again. You look stupid with it on." He starts laughing, but that immediately stops when I slug him in the arm.
