Izzy's PoV:

"I saw... I saw my... Dad." I said. Squid looked shocked. "I thought he was dead!" Squid said. "So did I..."

Suddenly the doors banged open and Julie ran in. "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!! THE DOCTOR TOLD YOU TO STAY PUT!!" She shouted at me. "Hey, back off, Izzy's had a shock!" Squid said standing up next to me. "Don't you get involved, you can't even look after her. You couldn't take care of her so now she's in hospital." Julie said to Squid. Squid looked like he had been stabbed. "IT WASN'T HIS FAULT!!" I yelled at Julie, "IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM I WOULD PROBABLY BE DEAD!" I finished. Julie looked more angry than i had ever seen her before. "Come on, we are leaving. Your going back to the care home in Birmingham until we know more about your father." She said grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the door. "NO!! I'm staying with Squid!" I said yanking my arm out of her grasp and running back to Squid. "He is better than my dad ever was!" I said firmly. "How's that?" She asked. I took a deep breath and slowly said, "because he knows how I got into care. Everything. He knows everything." Julie looked shocked. "David, you will have to tell us everything that she said." Julie said. I knew this would happen but it may help me stay with Squid. "No, Izzy's doesn't want you to know so I'm not going to tell you." Squid said quietly but firmly. "You have to. It's for her own good." Squid was about to speak when I cut him off, "Squid, you can tell them, I think I'm ready for them to know." He looked down at me and smiled. He looked so proud. I hugged him and he hugged me back. I knew what I had to do, I didn't want to go back to care but I knew I wasn't going to be allowed to stay with Squid. I said goodbye to Nicole and then to Squid. I looked at him and I think he could see what I was going to do. I could tell he wanted to stop me but something was stopping him.

I started to walk towards Julie like I was going to go with her. But when I got alongside her I legged it through the doors and down the corridor. Again I didn't know how to get out but I guessed heading down would be a good idea. Amazingly I found some elevators and legged it into one. I frantically pressed the button for the ground floor. I could see Julie running towards me and the doors started closing. I was praying that they would close before she caught up. Julie was about 5 meters away from me when the doors finally closed and I started to move down. When the doors opened back up I could see the exit so I sprinted for it. There was some security outside the door, I didn't even know that hospitals had security but clearly they did. I got to the doors which were automatic so they opened towards me. I decided to walk out so it wouldn't look like I was running away. As I went passed them they looked at me and stood in my path. "What's your name?" One of them asked me. I was about to answer when I heard Julie running down the lobby yelling, "IZZY GET BACK HERE NOW!!" The security looked a bit shocked so I ducked behind them and started sprinting for the woods which was around the side of the hospital. I could hear the security behind me, I wasn't going to make it. I could see in front of me three people getting out of a car. I recognised them immediately, Stampy, Sqaishey and Tom. As I was sprinting towards them because I was so focused on them, I wasn't looking were I was going and I tripped on the paving slabs. I flew forward and I waited for the impact but it didn't happen, instead of the floor and blood that I was expecting to see, I saw Stampy's face looking down at me. He put me down and I ran behind Stampy and held on to him so the security couldn't get me. "What's happening?" Stampy said. "They are taking me away from Squid and back to care!" I said as the security stopped in front of us. "She needs to come with us." They said to Stampy. "This isn't necessary! What has Squid done?" Tom said stepping in. "He hasn't done anything." Said Julie catching up, "But if that was Izzy's father then there may be a possibility of Izzy being able to live with him, or she could be in serious danger, depending on what state he is in." Julie finished. "I can assure you that Izzy is safe with us." Tom said. "That may be so but we have to take precautions." Julie replied. I saw a car pull up in the car park next to us and Adam got out, the head care worker of my old care home back in Birmingham. "Adam has come to take you and Flo back to Birmingham." Julie explained. "Wait, Flo?" I said looking in the back seat of the car, sure enough there was Flo. "Flo had to go back as well, you were only going to stay at that care home for a few weeks." Julie explained. I looked to Sqaishey, she looked worried for me, I didn't want to spend a car journey with Flo. "It's ok, we can take her to Birmingham for you, that way we can pack all of her stuff." Sqaishey said to Adam. "It may be good for Flo and Izzy to catch up though." Adam replied. Sqaishey walked over to Adam and whispered something in his ear. I saw Adam's expression change and he nodded, "Ok. We will see you in Birmingham in a couple of hours then." Adam said to me and I nodded. "I will meet you there Adam." Julie said walking to her car. Adam got back into his car and started to drive away. I looked at Flo through the window and she mouthed, "I'm sorry." I wasn't sure if I'd forgive her though after what she did to me.

Sqaishey came and hugged me, "Thank you." I said. She nodded her reply. "I will call Nicole and tell her what's happening." Tom said.

After Tom had called Nicole we got into Stampy's car and he took us back to Squid's house. Squid was allowed to leave the hospital so Nicole was bringing him home and they would meet us there.

We soon arrived at Squid's house and Adam's car was parked outside. We all got out and Tom went over to talk to Adam. While they were talking I saw Flo get out of the car. I moved over and stood next to Sqaishey. Flo started to walk over to us. "Izzy I'm really sorry. I was stupid." She said. "Stay away from her!" Stampy said standing in between us. Flo just looked at me with a sorry expression, then she did something unexpected, she ran away. She ran into the woods opposite Squid's house. "FLO!!" Adam yelled. "What did you say to her!?" He yelled at me. I started to walk towards me, this was angrier than I had ever seen him. "Hey, she didn't say anything." Stampy said blocking his path. I turned around and followed Flo, I had to find her.
