《Accidentally Adopted by iBallisticSquid》The Fire

Squid's PoV:
Tom had just left to go to bed and I had decided to stay with Izzy. She seemed really nice but I had no idea why she was here. She wasn't that clean and looked like she hadn't had a shower for a few days. So I asked her,"What were you and Flo doing out there?" Her expression changed and I could tell she was thinking about what to say but then her expression changed again, to pain, and jolted up. However she must've sat up to quickly and her dizziness came back. She fell, I lent out to catch her but I suddenly felt huge pain in my arm so I pulled away, backwards. I felt my burnt arm hit into something warm, not hot just warm. I felt myself hit the ground and so I just layed there. I don't know how long I was there but it felt like it was only a few minutes. I could feel heat behind me and I could smell smoke, I heard the fire alarm go off and Tom, Nicole and Flo running down the stairs. I heard distant sirens and then Tom came in he tried to grab me and pull me out, "Tom, no. Get Izzy." I said to him. "No. I'm taking you." With the last strength I had I fought against his grip and finally he obeyed and I felt him move over to Izzy and he ran out of the room. Suddenly he was back and pulling me, this time I let him. He pulled me out of the room and into the hallway where I felt two strong men pick me up and take me outside. I was placed in a bed and taken into an ambulance. There were people all around me, then as I was being fitted with a breathing tube, most of them left and went to the other side of the ambulance. I looked over and I could see Izzy, she had the same as me, she was on a bed, she had a breathing tube, the only difference between her and me was that I was awake and she definitely wasn't.

*Time Skip*
I was sitting in my ward, the doctors had bandaged my burnt arm up and I still had the breathing tube on although that would be off soon, other than that I was fine. I was really worried about the house, the pets but strangely, even though I had only just met her, I was mostly worried about Izzy. Just then Nicole came rushing in and she hugged me. She looked like she had been crying. "Look I'm fine." I told her. "Are you sure?" She asked me. I nodded as it was had to speak through the breathing tube. Then, conveniently a doctor came in and told me that I no longer needed the tube and he removed it. He told me that I needed to rest my voice so that meant no recording for the next week. I sighed but I guess it was to be expected and I'm sure the fans would understand.
Nicole then told me that the house was fine only the sitting room has been damaged as the firemen had been able to get to it quick enough. Also the firemen had managed to rescue all the pets and they were with Ash at his house now. That was a relief, I trusted Ash with them. "How is Izzy?" I asked. "She's fine. Flo is with her now." I nodded with relief. I don't know why I cared about her so much.
Then a man that I had never seen in my life came in. He introduced himself as Adam the head care worker at the kids home that Izzy and Flo had come from. So they were care kids, I had no idea. He explained that they had run away and that they were grateful for us looking after them. He also said that they would be going to the care home in Huddersfield for two weeks which would be enough time for them to get better and then they would go back to there normal care home. They have already left. I nodded I was so sad, I would miss Izzy and I didn't even get to say goodbye.

I mean Flo was nice but really I liked Izzy more. Adam left just as Tom entered. "Who was that man?" Tom said looking confused. Nicole explained everything to him. I turned and looked at Nicole. "Can we adopt Izzy." She looked shocked and so did Tom. "We barely know her. So no." She said. I looked down in disappointment.
The doctor came back in, "David Spencer." He said. I nodded. "You can go home now, we have been informed that your sitting room has been blocked off and it is now safe for you to go back to your house. Do not go inside the sitting room." He said looking at all of us. We nodded and I climbed out of bed and we left the hospital. I climbed into the front passenger seat, Nicole sat in the drivers seat and Tom climbed in the back. We started to drive home in silence. I didn't really want to talk I was angry at Nicole for saying "No" but I guess I couldn't blame her. It was true we barely knew her.
