Halsey was my online persona. I posted covers and original songs on SoundCloud and poetry on Tumblr under the name.
I freaked at idea of Melanie listening to me, reading the romantic poetry I wrote.
She really is stalking me now and needless to say, I was terrified.
"Ashley?? Ashley what's wrong??" Hayley rushed to my side. I didn't realise I was even crying until I felt tears slip down my cheeks and onto my hand.
"She knows everything about me, she's been stalking me Hayley I'm so scared" I buried my head into her chest.
"We need to do something about this" Hayley said
"What can we do?! Nothing!" I wailed.
We spent the rest of the afternoon, sitting in silence and then, at 7:30pm, she drove me home, straight to my front door.
"I'll call you tomorrow, yeah? We'll go out somewhere" she gave me a soft kiss "I made a promise and I'm not going to break that promise Ashley"
She had already driven away when I spoke "I love you"
