I smoothed out my skirt and sat down in the corner of the cafeteria with my lunch. I had a sandwich, an apple and some water today.

I quietly tucked in, carefully watching the rest of the girls busily getting lunch.

It was hard being in an all girls school with 90% of the students straight and the rest closeted. Especially when I found most of them so goddamn gorgeous.

I thoughtfully chewed on my sandwich, scrolling through my Facebook feed on my phone. Apparently there was a party at Melanie's house last night and everyone was there.

I practically drooled over the sight of my crush on my feed. She always looks amazing. You could put her in a garbage bag and she'd still look like a million dollars.

Soon enough, lunch was coming to an end and I tossed the apple core and the empty water bottle in the trash, heading to my locker to get my stuff for the rest of the day.

"Hey Ashley" I heard Melanie's smug voice "Heard your drawing had a little accident"

I slammed my locker door, sighing with exhaustion "Go away Melanie I'm not in the mood"

"Oh but I am" She pushed me roughly into the lockers, causing a pain to envelope my skull. I clutched it for a moment before making a run for it, Melanie, hot on my heels.

I ran to the nearest bathroom and locked myself inside the end stall, my breathing fast, my heart thumping.

"Ashley...Ashley...come out come out wherever you are" Melanie called "I know you're in here"

I whimpered and cowered behind the door.

I saw Melanie's feet under my door.

"I know you're in there Ashley, open the door"

My hands were shaking but I gave in and unlocked the door.

Melanie stood with an innocent face on her. She walked into the stall and locked the door behind her, leaning against the door.

"Now. I believe you owe me something"

I looked down at my feet. It was almost juvenile for a bully to ask for someone's lunch money in high school but that's what I was forced to do every day. My lunch money and my allowance, so she got five dollars every day except Mondays, when she got twenty.

I unzipped my front pocket of my school bag and handed her the money. She pocketed it, smiled sweetly and left.

I was still shaking even when she was long gone.
