This is how Rosalia's looks but imagine that her hair is a dark gray.
I sat inside the carriage terrified not knowing what to do as my hands, feet and mouth was tired so I couldn't get away or make a sound. Suddenly I saw someone appeared by the wagon as the cloth opened up and I was met with the sunrise. "Come on. It's safe... You can go home now." The boy around my age said to me as he reached his hand out with a smile. I looked at him as tears were about to spill out my eyes. 'I can finally go home.' I thought as I looked at him as I saw his smile falter for a bit.
"Uhh...excuse me... what's this for?" I asked the boy who saved me as he covered my eyes. I felt a tingling sensation over my eyes when he touched me. "There are things here little kids are better off not seeing." He replied as I thought about what he said confused. "But aren't we the same age-" I said before he cut me off. "Let's go. And don't take the cloth off until I say so." He replied as we began to walk. "Okay." I replied walking along side him.
"We should be a good enough distance away. You can look now." He told me as I looked down at my feet before I felt him began to take it off. As he pulled it off I was met with the face of a boy with brown hair and blue eyes that looked so pretty. I looked at him as I blushed shly as I began to fiddle with the bottom of my clothes. "T-Thank...you..." I told him as I looked away from him. "Okay! Nice meeting you!" He said as he began to walk away.
I ran up to him as I held onto his clothes. "Don't go... Please... I'm scared..." I said as I looked up at him with teary eyes. I saw the smile on his face vanish when he saw my expression. "Look, I need to get home too. Those slav-, bad guys won't chase you anymore. Besides, aren't elves generally safe in this forest anyway?" He told me as he tried to get me to release my grip on his torn shirt. I only held onto him tigher shaking my head.
"Beast are only scared of adults... my parents said to me and my older sister that kids get eaten by hounds or tree golems." I explained to him as I didn't let him go. "Ah... Okay... Well do you at least know how long it will take to get to where you live from here?" He asked me as he moved causing me to release him. "... I don't know." I told him as I looked at the ground in sorrow. I heard him let out a sigh before he started to walk away. "Just stay here..." He said while I began to panic as he went further away. "Huh?" I said shocked and scared before he turned and look at me.

"I'll go gather some supplies for us. Hopefully this trip won't be too long." He said as he scratch his cheek nervously. "Okay!" I told him as I blushed while smiling at him glad that I won't be alone.
Arthur's P.O.V
'I salvaged what I could for the journey ahead. Neither of us knew how long it would take, also I had to think about the journey back. It's a shame we can't take the carriage, but it might be for the best. We'd stick out like sore thumbs riding that.' I thought as I grabbed the supplies we need for the trip. Then I went over to the Forest Hounds as I cut the ropes on them connecting them to the carriage.
'I can only hope that the elves have something that can take me back to the human kingdom.' I thought sadly as I sheathed the knife and made my way towards the girl. When I made it back I saw her playing with a butterfly as she smiled at it, looking at her I thought that made her look cute. I quickly shut that thought down as I shake my head. 'Art, you're only 5' I thought as I went closer to her causing her to notice me.
"Here. I found these clothes inside the carriage and assume they were yours. Wear the cloak over them since it'll probably get cold." I told her as I handed her the clothes to which she accepted. "Thank you." she replied as she smiled at me causing me to ruffle her hair. She looked down as smile as I saw her face was red. "Let's get you back home." I told her as I smiled at her as she hugged me.
'As we walked in the vague direction she pointed to, I got to know more about the elf child.' I thought as I looked at her. "What's your name?" I asked her as she turned her attention towards me. "R-Rosalia. Rosalia Eralith. What's your name?"she replied before she asked another question as we start down by a tree and began to eat. "It's Arthur Leywin." I told her before we got up to walk again. "How'd you end up in the Elshire Forest, Arthur?" Rosalia asked me. "It's a long story..." I replied as I trailed off at the end. "We have time...so you can tell me." she responded shyly.
During that conversation we came into contact with a Forest Hound. I fought it off as I made sure Rosalia was behind me. "Hmm... Let's just say I got separated from my family." I responded as we walked further into the forest. "Oh. So you came from the human kingdom, right?" she asked as an insect came flying around her as she outstretched her hand. She looked at me before outstretching her hand towards me. I looked at the insect with dread as she brought it closer to my face. "Mhmm." I said.
"Then is it true that all male humans are perverts and have more than one wife?" Rosalia asked curiously as she looked at me. "What? Who told you that?" I asked her as I looked back at her confused. "My grandpa." She responded. "I-I see... Well, I'm sure there are perverts among elves too. Wait, do you even know what 'pervert' means?" I asked her as she shaked her head while I sweatdropped at how she asked me a question but not knowing what that word meant.

After a while of walking I had to take care of some business, suddenly I heard Rosalia's sniffles. "A-Arthur... Where are you?" she asked as I looked back at her and see her eyes all watery. "I'm here, Rosalia." I told her as I came from behind the tree. She ran to me and gave me a hug as she started crying. "I-I thought you left me." She said as she clung to me looking up at me with watery puppy eyes. "Well, to answer your question... Usually some nobles prefer to have multiple wives..." I told her as she nodded her head as if she understood what I said.
"Oh! Now I get it!" she shouted like she just won an award. "D-Do you really? Anyways, let me ask you a question. What's it like living in Elenoir?" I asked her as she smiled at the question. "It's fun! I spend a lot of time with my caretakers, grandpa and big sister since our mom and dad are busy. Oh, and once I awaken, I'll probably be given a mentor to train under! My sister and I are pretty excited about that." she said as we came across pink rabbits. Her eyes shined brightly as she went near them pulling them into the hug as she sang hummed.
"Hmm. The education system seems a bit more undiscriminating in Elenoir if everyone's assigned a private mentor upon awakening." I told her as I held the knife I sharpened as well at the pink rabbit. I smiled nervously as she looked at me in horror before she tried reaching for the rabbit. "Undiscrim- what?" she asked me as I chucked at her. "Nothing. Just talking to myself." I told as I prepared the fire to start cooking the rabbit. Rosalia pouted at me as she saw the rabbit on a stick in front of me.
"...Hey, Arthur?" Rosalina called out to me as I turned to her. "Yes?" I responded letting her know I'm listening. "What happened to those bad guys that took me?" she asked as I looked away from her as she turned to face me. "They, uh...ran into a rather unfortunate accident." I told her still not making eye contact. "W-Will they try to come find us again?" she asked me as she looked down at the ground as she clenched her fist tightly. "I promise that you won't ever see them again." I told her as she looked up and smiled before facing the stars.
"Okay! Thank you, Arthur. For everything..." She told me as she stood up and made her way towards me. She sat down next to me as she hugged me. It became darker as I start on top of the rock on the floor, I turned to my left as saw Rosalia with her eyes closed. "You should get some sleep." I told her as I watched her doze off besides me. "Huh? What about you?" she asked me as she looked at me worriedly. "I'll keep guard outside." I told her as I led her to the tent as she kept falling in and out of sleep.
"What? But you'll be tired come on let's sleep." she tried to convince me but I didn't budge. I ruffled her head and laid her down gently as she curled up into a little falling asleep. An hours passed by as I sat outside keeping guard while I looked up at the sky. 'I wanted to use this time to figure out what this 'will' Sylvia left me was, but...' I thought as I heard ruffling inside of the tent before Rosalia poked her head out.
"Are you sure you don't need some rest too? G-Grandpa said to never share a bed with a boy but I won't tell on you. So please come sleep." she said as she looked at me with worry. "It's okay. I'm not that sleepy." I told her as I saw her head tilted down slightly. "... Okay." she replied before going back into the tent. A few seconds later I heard rustling again as I looked back and saw Rosalia head outside of the tent again.
"W-Well, you see, I just remembered. Beasts will more than likely appear when they notice you out here because they'll see that you're a kid. Therefore... I propose that, for our safety, you should keep guard inside the tent...it's for our safety." she said shyly as she looked away as a light blush appeared on her face. I sweatdropped at her before I looked at her with a small smile as I made my way inside the tent. "I'm inside the tent. Now go sleep." I told her while she nodded her head at me. She laid down staring up at the tent unable to fall back sleep.
She covered herself with the blanket as I sat next to her. She looked at me before she grabbed my pants leg. I looked down at her with a smile as she gave me one back to. I saw her fighting sleep for the second time tonight. "Goodnight, Arthur." she told me as sleep consumed her but she still had a tight grip on my pants. 'Rosalia Eralith... You've had it rough. Rest well. And goodnight.' I thought as the smile stayed on my face.
