Hanks POV

I know that I shouldn't of left Erin alone to die, but she was so scared and I knew if I had stayed it would of made things worse, and if I died and she lived she wouldn't be able to forgive herself. I know if something happens to her I won't be able to forgive myself. I see something running towards the door, I think it's Erin, but just right when I thought she could make it out safely I hear a explosion. Everyone takes cover and I can think about is that she almost made it out alive. I then see that all the firefighters are running to put the fire out, and the paramedics are waiting to get Erins body.

SOMEBODY BETTER GO IN AND GET ERIN RIGHT NOW OR I'M GOING TO GO GET HER MYSELF. I yelled

Voight, we can't go in until they have given us the clear. Gabby said

She could be alive and it's not good for them to breathing in the smoke it could hurt them. Voight said

They are wearing masks they'll be fine. Gabby said

I'm not talking about the firefighters, I'm talking about Erin because she is pregnant 2 months along and she is having twins. Voight said

We gotta get her outta of there let's go Brett. Gabby said

Once I told Gabby and Sylvia that Erin is pregnant with twins they knew that they had to get her out of there fast in order to save the babies and her. They ran in and started to look for her, when they found her, they put her on the gurney and put her in the Ambo right away and drove off. I jumped in my black SVU and put the sirens on, I followed them to the hospital. When I arrived to the hospital, I ran in there so fast I don't even know if I put the car in park.

When I reached the entrance I saw Sharon Goodwin, she knew that I was looking for Erin, she pointed me to the direction that she was. When I got to where the doctors were I saw that Will, Jay's brother was working on her I wasn't as worried because I knew that he was a good doctor.

Will how is she? I asked

She is very lucky, she has a mild concussion and a dislocated shoulder other than that she is fine. Will said

She's pregnant Will. I said

I know, the babies are perfectly fine, just keep a close eye on her. I'm going to let her go as long as she is with you. Will said

She won't be leaving my sight any time soon. Hank said

Well, tell her to get better soon. Will said

Erin's POV

My head hurts, am I dead? Where am I? I have like a million questions going through my head but there is one question I can't get out of my head. I see Hank is talking to Will, they are probably talking about me. All I can think about is how much I wish Jay was here and I also want to know if the babies are ok

Jays POV

I can't believe that I get to see Erin in just less than 24 hours. I know that I should've of told someone that I'm coming back but I want Erin to be the first person to see or hear from me. I hope that she is happy to see me. I am glad that I get to see Erin but I am also sad that I only get to see her for a couple days then I have to go back. I am about to get on the plane to head back to chicago and see the love of my life. I should probably call her so that nothing looks suspicious, since we talk as often as we can and I wanna try to make this the best surprise ever

Jay? Erin asked suspiciously

Erin, god it's amazing to hear your voice again. I said

Jay! I missed hearing you and I miss you. She said

Well I'll be home in 8 months. I said

I know it just seems so far away. She said

Well I gotta get on a plane we'll talk later. I love you Erin Lindsay. I said

The plan is perfect she does suspect anything. I can't wait to be back in the states and see her and the rest of the team.

Erin's POV

I'm glad that Jay called today I really needed to hear his voice I just wish I could see him, I know that he will be back in 8 months but seems so far away. I see that Hank is coming back into my hospital room.

Hank's POV

I heard that Erin was on the phone with someone while I was talking to Will, I can only think of one person she would actually want to talk to at this time and that would be Jay, but he is overseas and they don't talk as much as they would like. I better go in and sit with her.

Hey kiddo how you doing. I asked

I'm good, just wanna get out of here. She said

You will be leaving soon, but you're gonna be coming home with me. You can stay in your old room. I said

I guess that is the best thing until Jay comes home? She said

Is he coming home soon? I asked

8 months. She said

He will be back around the time that you are due. I said

Yea, I just hope that they wait until he is home. She said

Let's get you home. I said

We left the hospital and drive home, she goes straight to the couch and falls asleep. I decided that I would go and make us something to eat when I get a call its from and unknown number so I decided to answer it.

Hello?

No one was on the other line, I hung up and didn't think anything of it. I got back to making us some dinner. Since I don't do much cooking I decided to make us some Mac n Cheese since that is her favorite food and tacos which are the two foods that she loves.

16 hrs later

Jay's POV

I have just landed in chicago it's about 8:00 am and that means that Erin will be leaving for work soon and I want to surprise her at work, but I better call and make sure she is going into work because sometimes she likes to call in sick when she isn't sick, she just likes to stay in bed all day and wish I was there. I don't blame her because I would do the same thing if I could.

Hello? Erin answered

Hey it's me, sounds like you are just getting up. I said

Yea, it's only 8:00 here. she said

Aren't you going into work today? I asked

Yea, just running late I guess. She said

Well, when you get to work I have a surprise for you. I sent you something. I said

Really, what is it? She asked

Well, you're going to have to wait and see and don't you dare ask anyone what it is because they don't even know what it is because the gifts on it's way right now. I said

Well, looks like I will be to work on time today. She said

I better let you get ready so you aren't late today. I said

I have now arrived at the district and it looks like there is only person here and that one person is Voight which I'm not surprised about. I decided that I would go in the front door so that he doesn't see me. Of course the person I see is the one and only Trudy Platt. I motioned for her not to say anything but to follow me to the locker room.

Jay when did you get back. She asked

This morning, I need your help tho. I said

What is it? She asked

Do you have a big box that I would fit in? I asked

Umm, why. She asked

I am going to hide in it to surprise Erin, because she knows there's a surprise waiting for her but she doesn't know I'm here. I said

Well, let's get going she's going to be here soon. She said

Oh, one more thing no one else can know about this besides you. I said

It won't be hard getting everyone out of the room until you're in the box. She said

Well, I'll be out in my car until you're ready for me so just give me a call. I said

Ok, it shouldn't take long. she said

Truddy's POV

I have the box all set up all I need to do is wrap it and put a bow on top of it then it's done. I have decided to wrap it in the police wrapping paper that we have laying around here and then it's gonna have a red bow on top of it. Now that I have finished the box, which I managed to get done in just 15 minutes. Now I have to get everyone out of the bullpen so that Jay can get in the box without anyone seeing him before Erin gets here.

Can I get everyone's attention that means you too Voight. Ok, I need you all to go do a drive by at Firehouse 51 since I got a call saying that they were having some trouble with some kids spraying painting on the building. It shouldn't take long but I want you all to go and take a look.

What about Erin? Voight asked

She's not here right now is she. Platt said

No, let's go guys. Voight said

Jay's POV

I see that everyone is leaving now all I just have to wait for Platt to call and tell me it's safe for me to sneak in. Just as I saw them she called me and told me it was safe to come in. I ran inside just to make sure that no one would see me.

Hey thanks for doing this for me, and what did you tell them to get them out? I asked

No problem, and I told them to do a drive by at Firehouse 51 since they have been having a problem with kids spray painting the building. She said

Smart, thanks again, well I hear sirens I bet its them. I said

Hey, Trudy what's in the box? Adam asked

You'll find out soon but don't you dare touch it, it's for Lindsay. She said

Erin's POV

I have just arrived at the district and by the looks of how the teams cars are parked it looks like they have already been out this morning. I better get inside since it's probably important. As I was heading inside I remembered that Jay said he had a surprise waiting for me at work. I arrived at the top of steps when I saw this big box. I walked closer and looked it. I was trying to figure out what it was.

Hey guys. I said trying to distract them from looking at the box.

Hey Erin, so looks like you got a package. Dawson said

Yea, do you know what's inside of the package. I asked

Nope. He said

Do any you guys know what's inside of the package. I asked everyone just shook their heads and said No.
