Hayley's POV

Grabbing an apple, I quickly rush out of the pack house through the back door. After six and a half agonizing hours of school, I decided to skip training and swim for a bit at the lake near the school. That whole area was neutral territory so people from other packs were allowed to be there.

The lake isnt far from here but I'd rather run there in my wolf form. Its been long since I last run so it would be good for Sereana and I.

It's taken roughly ten minutes but I'm finally here. The water is glistening in such a beautiful way that I could stay here looking at it forever. Quickly shifting back, I put on the purple bikini I fitted into my mini duffle bag. I put my clothes in there before shifting earlier because I couldn't bare to tare up my favorite crop top and black high waisted shorts.

My head emerges out of the water a few seconds after diving in. I've been floating around the dock for a while now , feeling completely stress free. The one thing that seems to be bugging me is the fact that I spent so much time in the morning, trying to perfect my hair only to have it in its same old position, even before the day ended.

"Fancy seeing you here." A familiar voice calls out, causing me to loose my floating position and almost drown. I lift my self out of the water and onto the dock, only to be met by the dark brown eyes that seem to pull me in.

My eyes trail lower at the person's face, causing the slight tilt of my head, from the height difference to reduce. Once my eyes land on his lips, I can't help but blush at the thought of how soft they would feel. Snap out of it Hayley. I try to pull myself back on track but that thought quickly fades as the luscious lips before me stretch out to a full on grin.

"Hi Christopher." My voice cracks a bit as I try greeting him in a friendly manner instead of gawking at him."Hey Hayley." He greets back as his lips curve into a smirk."W-what um... what are you doing here?" I ask, playing around with my nails, afraid to look him in the eye after that moment of embarrassment." I just thought I'd walk around after school and found my self here." I nod at his response, still looking down.

Something suddenly touches my chin, sending a nice tingling sensation down my spine as my head I'd lifted up to be met by Christopher's chocolate orbs. "You look cute when you're nervous." He whispers into my ear causing a full blown smile on my face."Especially when you were floating. You looked so calm until... you know...almost drowned." He nervously trails off while rubbing his neck.

" Do you have your phone on you?" I ask, abruptly changing the topic for his sake." No. Why?" He slightly narrows his eyes, with a hint of confusion to his voice." Oh no reason." I respond a little to quickly before pushing him into the water. He must have caught onto my plan because he quickly grabbed my hand, taking me down with him.

After emerging onto the surface, I place my hands on top of his head, trying and succeeding in drowning him. Sadly, my victory is short lived as he gently but immediately pushes me off of him. There is a slight glint of mischief in his eyes as he slowly makes his way towards me. I turn and try to swim away but I'm suddenly pulled back into a hard chest as Christopher murmurs into my ear. "I don't think you'd want to play dirty with me just yet sweetheart."
