Jennie's POV

I couldn't believe this was actually happening. Me going to a zoo like ive always wanted as a kid with the love of my life, my bestfriend and her girlfriend. It was strange how something so simple and ordinary could bring such immense happiness to me. I instantly thought of all the other things we could do together, like going for a walk in the park, having a barbeque, watch the movies, play with our kids in the living room.....–

"Yah jendeukie are you just going to stare dreamily at lisa for the rest of the trip?" Jisoo's voice stole me away from my daydream and i cursed under my breath.

I glared at her and then stared accusingly at Chaeyoung for not keeping her girlfriend busy enough to distract me. Ofcourse, she was eating a salad bowl from the fruit stand at the entrance of the zoo, not caring about Jisoo getting bored and ruining my could-have-been-sweet moments with Lisa.

"Well that's alright with me, she can stare at me however long or much she wants, as long as it's me she's looking at." Lisa said smiling and grabbing my waist possessively. Goosebumps raised on my skin and i blushed. She chuckled at my reaction and planted a kiss on my cheek, making my face much much warmer than usual.

Jisoo took liberty to cringe at us before turning her attention to chaeyoung who was finishing the salad bowl she just bought 5 minutes ago.

"What the– wow thats a new record baby. Are you still hungry? We can grab something from KFC later. There are 4 branches here at the zoo so we can stop by anytime." Jisoo said happily and Chaeyoung nodded her head equally cheerful.

I rolled my eyes. Why wasn't i surprised that my bestfriend had researched the exact locations of nearby fast food restaurants instead of the attractions of the zoo.

"Okay we should get going im excited to breathe in the fresh air of animal shit that i didn't sign up for." Lisa said sarcastically and i shot her a glare.

"You're right lisasshi, your girlfriend is probably the only person in the world who would choose the zoo as a place for a double date. Good find." Jisoo added laughing. Oh boy this two are going to be the death of me.

Lisa sensed my annoyance and stroked my arm secretly, sending tingles down my spine. "Just kidding baby, im enjoying every second with you right now." she whispered.

I smiled. Holding her hand, i dragged us through the entrance with chaesoo following at the back.

We walked past lions and tigers in cages, their angry roars making me jump in fright, thankful that i have lisa by my side. The otters were cute and the way they swam in the water before coming up to the bank intrigued me but lisa called them 'slimy brown things' which i found pretty offensive yet funny.

Jisoo and Chaeyoung were off doing their own things giving us some personal space but we weren't too far away from each other so that we wouldn't separate.

"Look here nini."

I was sitting on the floor playing with the tiny furry creatures through the glass and looked up to Lisa holding out her vintage camera, snapping a photo of me.

"Ahhh kyeopta!!" Lisa squealed in delight at her captured shot.

"Hey let me see that!" I said laughing. Lisa shook her head and grinned, protecting her camera from me.

"I'll get you back later." I promised smiling.

We went to see the penguins next, they waddled and slid on their bellies, squawking randomly. I was thankful for it being indoors as the cool blast of air enveloped us contrary to the heat from outside. I wonder if the majestic birds could tell the difference between real ice and the place they're living at now.

"Penguin parents—both male and female—care for their young for several months until the chicks are strong enough to hunt for food on their own."

As i finished reading out the fun fact, i instinctively turned my head to check on Lisa, i didn't like the idea of her being out of my sight or away from me especially when we are outside.

Sure enough, i noticed a quirky brunette striking up a conversation with her and giggling, attempting to swipe her arm playfully. Oh hell no bitch you did not just try to do that infront of me. Judging by her uniform and hat she must be the observatory guide or whatever the heck i don't care to know. She was flirting with MY Lisa the fuck and that ain't happening when im around.

I narrowed my eyes and immediately strode over to make my presence known.

"...so you see we have quite an impressive display of penguins here, they are an endangered species as we all know–"

"And soon penguins might not be the only endangered species on this planet." I said and glared at the brunette, entwining my fingers with Lisa's.

The moment Lisa noticed my intrusion between the two of them, she swallowed a gulp and chuckled nervously. "Eh- hahaha... um... need anything babe?"

The guide seemed to shrink in size as she joined Lisa's nervous chuckle. "Uhmm.. enjoy the penguins." she said timidly before scooting away.

I turned to look at Lisa who was pretending nothing had happened.

"Yah! I can't leave you alone for 5 minutes, why were you talking to that guide girl!" I burst out. The fact that the girl was a brunette made me more annoyed than i should be. "Are you interested in other brunette girls now huh?!"

"W-what no no! Calm down baby i've only got my eyes for you. She was just explaining about the penguins thats all, i didn't want to be rude and shoo her off its her job anyway." Lisa stuttered.

Explaining about the penguins my foot..! How dense can she be to not notice the obvious flirtation thrown at her? A part of me felt bad for her because i was just overreacting but it was cute how she turned into a timid little child who just got caught for stealing cookies.

I pretended to remain annoyed and pouted, enjoying her attention to me.

"Look, even if there are a million brunettes in this world or blondes or whatever, the only person i want is you. Kim Jennie." Lisa said cupping my cheeks and bending forward to plant a soft kiss on my lips.

All thoughts erased and my brain shut down as my heart erupted in a series of fireworks. No words ive learnt to speak could be put to use as her words floated around in my head making me feel giddy and light.

I grabbed her shirt and tugged her closer before she could pull away, joining our lips with more pressure and need.

"Hhm.." I let out an soft moan uncontrollably as i welcomed her tongue, feeling her sucking and biting my lower lip.

My hands traveled to the waistband of her jeans, caving in to the desirable need exploding inside me.

"Oh my jisoos christ!"

We separated at the sudden outburst and a horrified Jisoo and Chaeyoung were gawking at us. My hand was still hovering ontop of Lisa's belt.

"Yah! What are you guys doing oh my god this is humiliating.. were you guys seriously about to do it here?? There are people around please at least hold your hormones till we get home jendeuk!" Jisoo gasped as chaeyoung shook her head covering her eyes.

Immediately i looked around and noticed some people side glancing us and a wave of embarrassment hit me. God i have to control myself.. i get too carried away with lisa and momentarily forgot we were in a public space.

Lisa simply scratched her nape and grinned. I had a feeling that if Chaeyoung didn't spot us she would've just let me undo her belt and allow us to steal the spotlight from the penguins.

"Anyway, we're starving lets go eat!! Jisoo says there's one KFC just right around the corner." Rosé said excitedly, beaming at her.

I tried not to roll my eyes as my stomach lurched at the thought of eating chicken again.

"Yeah let's go! I'm hungry as well." Lisa cheered before i could reject the choice of food.

I looked at her adorable eagerness and smiled unknowingly. "Sure, KFC sounds good."

"Yahhhh you ugly trolls look. Usually i would keep this for myself but since im feeling happy today because of chicken and good company, i'll show you this beautiful picture i took of my babygirl earlier." Jisoo smirked and chaeyoung blushed.

Lisa groaned while i pretended to be interested.

"You guys better not drool, look at this GODSÉ!" Jisoo fawned, shoving her phone in our faces.

"Wow that is a pretty shot." I complimented.

"Woah chipmunk.. ive known you pretty much all my life but this has to be the first picture you actually look good in." Lisa awed clapping her hands, earning a glare from chaeyoung.

I frowned slightly at my lisa's reaction but i knew that i shouldn't ought to be jealous because they were bestfriends just like me and Jisoo and were therefore very close.

As if sensing my subtle uneasiness and jealousy, i felt Lisa's hand rest on my thigh caressing under the table. My restlessness ceased replaced by butterflies in my stomach.

I made a mental note to self to give her a little reward for her great behaviour today when we get home.
