Jennie's POV
"Hey.. you alright? You've been stoning off since the moment you arrived." A concerned looking Taehyung asked me.
"Huh? Oh.. it's nothing... just tired, you know im not a morning person." I said, brushing off my thoughts. I couldn't help replaying the dream in my head. Lisa's voice had sounded so real.
"Hey, hey. Why are you crying? Did you miss me that much?"
"Haha sleepy jen, my baby is so cute." Taehyung teased and pinched my cheeks. I just shrugged it off and pouted.
"Alright, that's enough from the Kim couple! The company bus has arrived people gather your bags and luggages everyone lets go!" Mr Yang called, signalling for us to quickly board the bus.

I stepped out of the company bus and took a deep breath. It's been a year, and yet it feels just like yesterday. I exhaled and produced a thick fog out of my mouth, it was cold and the weather was great here. It would be nice if i could actually live here, it seemed to be quite a simple and peaceful lifestyle to have. I wonder if those wooden log cabins on the mountains are vacant.
"Hey come on, lets go check in and we can buy tickets for the christmas event." Taehyung popped up beside me and said.
"Wow, i actually feel like you're more excited to go for it than i am." I said amusedly and he frowned.
"I just wanna make up for letting you down last year. Plus i feel bad because i remember you rushing me to the event the moment we arrived but i said that it wouldn't run away. Well ends up i was the one who ran away." Taehyung said and we both chuckled because it was true.
"Well, im actually quite hungry right now. Why not we have some food first before we go?" I suggested and he smiled and agreed. Taehyung took my hand as we made our way to the hotel lobby with the rest of the company.

"So what do you want to eat?" Taehyung asked after we had put down our bags and luggages and came out from the hotel.

"Hmm.. im craving for sushi. Do you think there's a sushi bar around here?" I said.
"Hold on, there's a directory lets check it out." Taehyung said as he walked over to the electronic board and searched for the nearest sushi bar. "It says here that its located beside Yongpyong General Hospital. That's just a short distance away, lets go then."
I jumped in delight and he chuckled while patting my head, as we made our way to the sushi bar.
"Oh wow this is amazing!" I exclaimed as rows of sushi made their way along the conveyor belts.
I grabbed a few plates and wolfed them down. Geez i was starving. But i was looking forward most to my sake nigiri, that was my absolute favourite.
As i saw it come down the aisle, i excitedly got ready to grab it but a long hand extended out and i saw Taehyung taking it and eating my precious sushi infront of me.
"YAAAHHH!" I shouted.
"Huh?" He finished eating it and looked up at me surprised.
Jinjja this pabo! After dating for so long he still doesn't even know that i love salmon sushi. Ugh im so pissed. How could he do this to me.
"Forget it." I said gruffly. "I'm going to the toilet." I announced, standing up and leaving him confused at his seat.
I walked into the washroom and huffed at the sink. I know that it was just a small matter and i was being petty but i was still annoyed by it. "Okay. You're fine Jennie, you're not a child anymore. Don't be a little bitch." I checked myself out in the mirror and took out my lipstick from my pocket to touch up.
"I'm sorry." i mumbled into her back sniffling softly. She smelled so good.
"Hey. Hey it's okay, i'm fine." She said reassuringly, pulling me away gently so that i can face her. "Look. I'm strong!" She pretended to flex infront of the mirror grinning foolishly.
I started chuckling a little while wiping away my tears. "Yahh~ you pabo."
I dropped my lipstick into the sink and it clang as a sudden flashback hit me at the back of my head.

"What..." I mumbled and held onto the counter to steady myself, my legs weakening.
Out of all the random flashbacks i had encountered, this had been the clearest one. And i finally saw her face. I was backhugging Lisa, in this very same washroom.
I stood by the sink in shock grasping tightly, as i tried to make sense of what i just remembered. I was sure it wasn't a fragment of my own imagination. What was that scene about? When was i here with her? Wh- Why Lisa? Who was she to me..? My head exploded with a sea of questions, crashing around in waves within my mind.
This morning i had a dream about Lisa too. And the woman in my recurring dreams, was that her as well? Tears flowed down my cheeks, i didn't understand any of this at all. I sat down on the floor of the washroom and let my tears fall freely.
My phone vibrated in the back pocket of my jeans. I took it out and saw Taehyung's contact dialing. Immediately i wiped my tears and steadied my breathings, before answering the call.
"H-Hello?" i said.
"Jennie! Are you alright? You've been in the washroom for a while now. Are you mad at me or something did i do something wrong? I'm sorry okay?" Taehyung's deep voice resonated through the phone.
I took a deep breath and tried to reply cheerfully, "Hahaha what? No im just having a stomachache that's all, i think i was so hungry and ate too fast."
He chuckled on the other end of the line. "Aigoo.. alright then come out when you're done, i'll just continue eating here."
I hummed in agreement and hung up. Then i slowly stood up and fixed myself. There must be a reason all of these was happening to me, i guess it was a matter of time the puzzle pieces get together and i could finally understand the missing picture. I had a feeling that it would be soon.

"Wow im so full." Taehyung let out.
I was walking beside him silently.
"Jennie." He said suddenly and i jumped in fright.
"Oh sorry i didn't mean to scare you. Are you really okay jenjen? You know if there's anything wrong you can tell me right? You've been acting weirdly for quite some time now not just today." Taehyung expressed his thoughts seriously.
I knew that just waving it off as tiredness wouldn't fool him anymore so i just gave a quick peck on his lips as a distraction and smiled widely. "Im fine baby don't worry."
He looked at me in shock and grinned, intertwining our fingers together. I could tell that he was very pleased because i seldom showed intimacy and especially was not into public display of affection. At least i managed to escape his interrogation.
We trudged down the beautiful village in Pyeongchang on the way to the christmas event, stopping by every now and then to buy souvenirs for our family and friends.
I saw a shop that sold weird comical stuff and was curious to check it out. There was a wooden mahogany chipmunk feasting on a chicken drumstick which i found interesting because chipmunks usually ate acorns. It reminded me strongly of Rosé and Jisoo and so i decided to buy it for the both of them. I hadn't received a call from Rosé since i got here so it must mean that Jisoo had still not awaken.
"Alright i think we can make our way there now, before i end up buying too many things to hold." I said to Taehyung lightly and he agreed. I know i mentioned this before but shopping really helps with the stress im feeling and after a few rounds of gift buying, i felt slightly more animated than earlier.
Taehyung volunteered to help carry my bags which he usually didn't but i had a feeling it was because he thought it could earn him more kisses from me. I willingly gave it to him and stretched my arms out freely, enjoying the cool air.
