H: because when we first met, I was putting you cuffs and don't you remember I did that 5 times and they were all for different things such as simple battery, misdemeanor, retail theft, solicitation, and unlawful possession of cannabis

E: Hank I wouldn't do those things again especially since how you have given me a better since all of those things have happened and I am truly grateful for that, if I were going to go down that path don't you think I would tell you

H: Erin I am going to you this don't let her back in your life she is the cancer in your life, and that won't change

E: I will consider what you said and don't go talk to her it will only make things worse

Erin gets up and walks out of hanks office, she heads over to Molly's to meet up with Jay so that they can talk and figure somethings out considering their friendship/relationship

E: hey Halstead

J: hey Lindsay, can I get you drink?

E: yea I'll take a beer

Herman:one beer coming up

J: so what did you want to talk about

E: I wanted to talk about our relationship

J: ok... Is something wrong

E: No, it's just Hank knows and I don't know what to do anymore because I love you and I love him as a father

J: I love you too, Erin we could just come clean and tell him tomorrow.

E: but what if she makes us switch partners, I don't want anyone else to be my parter except for you.

J: I will always be your partner just remember that for what ever happens

E: so we will tell Voight tomorrow, since we are telling him tomorrow we should probably go into work at least a hour or half hour early because we don't know how long it will take and how he will react to the news

J: good idea since we have to be at work tomorrow at 9:00am then we should go in at about 8:00am

E: yea, do you want to get out of here and head back to my place, or we could even go to your place it doesn't matter to me

J: yea, if we go to your place I'll need to grab new clothes for tomorrow because I have worn this outfit the past two days

E: we can go to your place but I should probably grab a new outfit I don't want people to think we spent the night with each other well not until Hank knows at least

They drive over to Erin's apartment she grabs some clothes and throws them into a bag. They head over to Jay's apartment. They arrive at Jay's apartment, Jay grabs a beer for both of them. They head over to the couch and start to drink their beer and talk until Lindsay sets hers down and takes Jay's out of his hand and sets his down and she starts to kiss him and then Jay picks her up and they go into the bedroom.

E: hey Jay what time is it

J: it's about 7:45

E: we need to head out so we can go talk to Hank

J: oh that's right I'll go get the car started while you get ready

E: Jay!

J: what's wrong

E: nothing it's just that last night was amazing and I love you

Erin got dressed and head out to Jay's car so that they could head over to the district to talk to Voight. They arrive at the district.

J: hey Erin who is going to actually tell him

E: I will because if you tell him, he might kill you.

J: ok let's head in then

H: hey what are you two doing here so early and together

E: we have some paper work to do and we need to talk to you if we could

H: both of you at the same time?

E: yes

H: let's go into my office

They follow him into his office

E: well you know how you said that we aren't allowed to date our partners

H: yes

E: well the truth is that Jay and I have been dating for about 5 months

H: how is that even possible you've only known each other for a month

J: well sir we meet at this party about a year ago and we started to text each other than one day I asked her out

H: well I don't know what to say because it's not like I can make the two of break up because you have been dating each other for a while already but I can have the two of you switch partners

E: Hank is that really necessary

H: Jay, Erin I will make the two of you a deal if you can promise to keep it professional at work then I won't make you two switch partners but if you can't do that then you'll be switching partners. Do we got a deal?

E: yes

J: yes sir

H: you can go now if that's all

J: yea I got some paper work to do

Jay walks over to his desk and starts to do his paper work. Erin stays in voights office

E: I'm a little confused as to why you gave us your blessing because just like a day ago you were upset that I was hanging around him on my personal time

H: Erin I haven't seen you this happy since in a long time and that was before Camille died and that was a hard time for us and I just want you to be happy again

E: thank you, I miss her so much and you and her are the best parents. Since my so called parents were never their for me.

H: Erin there is something Camille and I were going to tell you the Christmas before she died but since she didn't make it I didn't know how to tell you because you were so sad, but I know I shouldn't of waited so long and I am sorry about that

E: what is it

H: well when we found out that your parents were never around to take care of you Camille told me that we were going to adopt you and we did it became official a while before she died but we were trying to figure out how to tell you in the most creative way. But since she died I didn't know how to tell you
