"So now are you going to tell me where she is or am I going to have to let the demon show you just how angry he really is?" I asked.

"We don't know where she is. We ordered for her to be killed as soon as we heard you were coming but she escaped the guard." Annalise said.

"Seb, what can you do?" I asked not looking away from the council.

"Nothing really. She's human. I can't locate humans unless I have a piece of their DNA."

"Damn it!" I yelled making the whole room shake. I would have just sniffed her out myself but I couldn't catch her scent and I wasn't focused enough.

"Thaddeus?" I heard a feminine voice said from the doorway.

I turned to see Davina standing in the doorway with an older lady.

"Davina." I whispered.

She rushed forward and wrapped her arms around my neck. Her face was buried in my neck and she was holding me tight. I wrapped my arms around her, buried my face in her hair and inhaled her scent.

I pulled back and checked her over for any wounds. I growled lowly when I saw her bandaged hand.

I turned to see that more guards had arrived.

"We can't let her leave alive or with you. It's forbidden."

"I don't give a damn about your rules!!!!" I yelled making the whole building shake this time. I pushed Davina towards Sebastian and stepped closer to the Council. "Yes, it may be against the rules but fuck the rules and fuck you! She is mine and if you want her then you have to go through me." I growled.

"Very well then." Annalise said before motioning to the guards.

"Seb, get her home now." I said as they came at me.

Once she was safely out of the room I cracked my knuckles and my neck and then shifted.

My seven foot wolf towered over everyone in the room and I easily killed most of the guards. Once they were all dead I turned towards the Council but they were gone.

I bolted out the room and headed for the from door, killing anyone who crossed my path. I know Seb transported her and him back to the house so I ran as fast as my legs could go.

I got back to the house, shifted back, pulled on some shorts and shirt, and followed Davina's scent up to my room. I opened the door to see her pacing in front of the bed.

When she saw me she launched herself into my arms.

"I was so worried about you." She said hugging me and my wolf purred at the feeling of our mate in our arms.

"How'd they get you?" I asked pulling back.

She then explained everything to me.

"Did they hurt you in anyway?"

"No, we just talked."

"What'd you talk about?"

"You."

"Me?"

She nodded. "They said my best options were to die or run away as far as I could from you. They said you're incapable of loving me. That your demon is the one you listen to the most and that he hates humans so he hates me."

"You believe them?"

She shrugged. "It makes sense."

"I care about you, Davina." I said lifting her head up so I could see her eyes.

"All three of us care."

"Even the demon?"

"Especially the demon. You're the only one he cares about besides Seb, himself, and me. To be honest, I think he cares about you more than me."

She smiled. "How bad can he be then?"

"He's pretty bad." I chuckled.

"Can I see them?" She asked quietly.

"See what?" I asked even though I knew.

"The scars."

I sighed but nodded. I turned around, pulled my shirt off and dropped it on the floor. I heard her gasp at the sight.

I watched as he peeled off his shirt and dropped it on the floor. His whole back was covered in different sized scars. He turned back around so I could see the ones on his front side as well. I had to peel my gaze off his abs and all the other muscles on his gorgeously tan body and focus on the scars. Almost every inch of him was covered in scars.

"I can't believe they did this to you." I said in a whisper as I gently reached out and ran my fingers across the many scars on his chest.

I trailed my fingers across his chest and then down to his abs as tears trailed down my cheeks. I felt him tense up under my touch with every move I made.

"They get to do this to you and then they claim you to be the monster when they are the real monsters."

"I am a monster."

"Not to me you aren't." I said looking up into his eyes. I didn't expect what he did next.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me flush against his body. He leaned his head down and pressed his lips to mine. The kiss was fierce, intense, and showed just how much he needed me. One hand ran up my back and wrapped around the nape of my neck, holding me where he wanted. He deepened the kiss as he slipped his tongue in my mouth and we both let out desperate groans.

He began to push me back until the back of my knees hit the bed. Slowly, he lowered me onto my back and blanketed my body with his own, never breaking the kiss. My hands left his face and traveled to his strong shoulders and then back up to his neck, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him close. He broke the kiss and began placing lighter ones along my jawline down to my neck. I pulled my head back, giving him better access. He kissed across my neck and continued kissing down my collarbone and across the swell of my breast.

I held my breath at the feeling of his lips and warm breath on my skin.

A gasp escaped my lungs, feeling him slowly raise my shirt and begin kissing me along my stomach. He chuckled when he heard me whimper as he gently nipped my skin with his teeth. He lifted his head and lowered my shirt back down.

His eyes were shifting from red to blue to black and then red again.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"Internal battle."

"Why?"

"Wolf is fighting for his natural instinct which is to mark you, demon is fighting on the wolfs behalf, and I'm trying to hold them back."

"Do you agree with them?" I asked quietly, afraid of hearing his answer.

"If it was up to me I'd let them loose and let him mark you but its your choice."

"My choice?"

He nodded.

"Let them go."
