《Don't Say NO [Book 1]》Chapter 5 (Edited)

"Can you believe it?" I heard someone say.
"I know, what human would offer her own blood to the young Lord? Especially when he just told you he murdered the others," the other one gossiped.
"Maybe she has a death wish," a third voice cut in. The girls started to laugh but became silent once the door opened. I kept my eyes shut, not wanting to see who was talking or who walked in to the room.
"Lady Rachelle," the girls said in unison. Silence filled the room. I was too scared to get up to use the bathroom. Mr. Piccolo, how are you? Have you eaten yet because I haven't and I'm hungry, on top of that I really need to pee.
"Gossiping are we?" This Lady Rachelle asked I assume, "your jobs are to serve, not to play around. Do I need to remind you three that if the young Lord overheard you, it would be your heads."
"Yes, Lady Rachelle," they said as they left the room. More silence filled the room. I felt this woman's eyes on me.
"How long are you going to keep your eyes closed?" Dang it.
"Is it safe?" I asked. She stood there for a moment and started walking around, I heard two doors open and felt her hand on the bed as she checked under it.
"No boogieman to be seen, ma'am," she joked. So I opened my eyes.
It was clear that this was not Connor's room. It was clean and dull, no pictures, no books, just empty. I looked at this Lady Rachelle, she looked to be in her late forties or early fifties. Her hair was a dark brown with some white strands. She has golden-blue eyes. She didn't seem happy nor sad. She turned away to pull some clothes out of the dresser and placed them on the bed.
"How?" I questioned.
"You have been asleep for three days now," she said to me as she started to walk away. "You should get dressed."
She seemed to be in a hurry so I pulled off the blankets. I found myself naked, quickly I tried to cover myself. "You were running a fever and your clothes were covered in sweat," she said while facing the other way.

I looked down to see a new mark or a scar on my body. I touched it, memories of Connor touching me came rushing into my mind, it made my insides ache. Blocking him out of my mind, I put the dress on. That bastard took too much, that will be the last time I'll help a vampire out.
"Name's Dawn, you?" I asked as I got up to fix the dress.
"Rachelle."
"Can you tell me where I am?"
"You are in a place with no name," she spoke as she turned around and glared at me. I quickly looked at the floor. She was scary. Here I thought my mom was the scariest.
"Come, work needs to be done," she said as she left the room. I walked after her with a faster pace than normal.
"What?"
"The young Lord has asked me to take care of you," she said as she opened another door leading to another long hallway. "He is on a business trip," following her in the corridor, she continued to talk. "While in my care, you will be working as a maid. I'm the head maid. If you have any problems you come to me, understood?"
"Oh, so that's why they call you Lady Rachelle."
"No, that is for a different reason," she said as we turned a corner. Mr. Piccolo, I believe I have fallen in a hole and now I find myself in a very weird place. I don't understand anything but that Connor and his family are vampires. Not only that, this head maid could also be a vampire. "You're hungry, right?"
"God, yes," I almost yelled out the words. Man, I can't remember the last time I felt like this.
I thought I heard her laugh, but saw no sign of it. "It's natural to be hungry right after giving blood," she sighed when she stopped to look out of a window. "I apologize for not thinking about your health. I have forgotten how weak the human body is."
"Well that's alright," I said slowly. She turned to face me, studying me. Did I say something wrong, do I have something on my face? She was so blank in the face I thought I had lost her. "Penny for your thoughts?''

"You're different," she whispered.
"Yea, well I get that a lot here," I responded, shrugging my shoulders.
"I see," she continued to walk and I followed her. The more we walked, I realised that there were a lot of maids and guards everywhere. We finally arrived at the kitchen. As soon as I smelled the scent of pizza, I was running. The only thing I heard was 'slow down,' and then my name. Racing to the door, I slammed my hand on the door, and pushed it.
And there, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, was sitting on the counter. It was as if time stopped for the two of us. Soft music played in the background as I took the first move. He was mine, all mine. He called to me, I smiled. Then someone put their hands on him and took him into their mouth. "Noooooo," I screamed. Everyone in the room was looking at me, and I looking at my already half eaten slice of pizza.
"Who are you," said the monster who just ate my slice of pizza. He was not what I was expecting. He was a very large man, sharp teeth, pointy ears, and very hairy. This is starting to sound familiar. The whole room was filled with them.
"A really hungry and pissed off woman," I replied, now I don't care what they are, he ate my slice, the last one.
"Really," he came to eye level as he showed his teeth, "and what are you going to do about it," he taunted and took another bite of the pizza.
I stood my ground with my chin up high. "I'm going to call your mother," laughter filled the room. Okay probably not the best thing to say.
"My mom?"
"Yes, you should have asked if anyone wanted that slice, and you clearly saw me making my way to it."
"Too bad," he smiled finishing the slice.
"Now look here, I haven't eaten in I don't know how many days, so I better see you make me a sandwich, before my foot goes up your ass," he stiffened. Fear fell onto his eyes, really that scared him? Wow I'm a bad ass. Smiling, I watched him make my sandwich. "And it better be a good one too."
One by one everyone left, leaving me with my sandwich maker. I turn around to see if Rachelle was still here and she was. She was at the doorway looking at the sandwich maker. "Rachelle, he-," I started explaining myself.
"I know," she interrupted. "I saw it, you did a good job. Morgan, I too would like a sandwich," she said as she took a seat next to me at the island.
"Yes, Lady Rachelle," Morgan said.
"Your name is Morgan. I'm Dawn, I have a friend named Morgan."
He didn't say a thing as he placed our sandwiches in front of us. I didn't take any time, I ate it so fast you would think I was some kind of beast. Rachelle took small bites, and Morgan escaped. Well, I'll let him go, he did make me a good sandwich.
"Your very odd, miss Dawn," I wanted to say I get that a lot but my mouth was full. "You know you just scared off a werewolf."
"Really?" I said, suprise clear in my voice. This what I thought I said but it sounded more like some gibbrish.
"Yes, all the servants here are vampires or werewolves. And here you are, the only human."
"What are you?" I asked. She looked sad, but I couldn't tell. She didn't make eye contact nor did she finish her food.
"I'm a werewolf."
