Next morning Virat was in his room thinking all the possibilities about what would be wrong with Rohit.

It was so strange that Rohit had avoided talking with him for 15 days. This was the first time he did that. He knew there was something big that was bothering him but what?

Bhuvi- Virat, what are you doing here? We are late for breakfast.

He said coming into the room.

Vi- Oh ya, let's go.

Bhuvi and Virat arrived in the dining room. Rohit was already present there.

Virat sat beside him and saw him not noticing it. Rohit was lost in his own world. It worried Virat a lot.

Virat touched his arm to get his attention only to notice how Rohit flinched at that touch.

Vi- What's wrong?

He asked in a low voice.

Ro- Nothing!

He got up and left the dining room only to be followed by Virat.

Vi- Ro, Ro! Ruk yaar.. where are you going ? Why are u avoiding me?

Ro- I am not avoiding you!

Vi- Acha, is it? Toh what is this ?

Some game is going on? Any dare is given to you that u can't look at me and talk ? Ha ?

He asked in a mocking tone.

Ro- It's nothing Vi, u are overreacting!

Vi- I am overreacting! Ha, right! I am overreacting..

the fact that u have not spoken to me for 16 days, it's pretty convenient to say that I am overreacting!

He said and scoffed at that comment.

Ro- Big deal Vi! People don't speak for months or even years!

And here u are making a big issue of the 15 days!

He snapped.

Vi- So now I am just people for you?

He asked in a very low hurting voice.

Ro- Stop being sentimental about the words.

How does it matter anyway that I haven't spoken to you for "period of time" ?

I am here now talking to you right? Isn't that enough for you?

Vi- No it's not enough Ro! Why are you not sharing it with me? What's wrong Ro?

I promise I will make it right whatever it is!

Ro- Are u God? That u are telling me that u can make everything right?

It is gonna be like this!

Soon u accept it, it's better for you and me as well.

Vi- What are you saying ?

Ro- That I am tired of your constant questioning. "What's wrong? Are u okay? What's bothering you ?"

This is irritating me!

Vi- My concern is irritating for you?

Ro- I told you stop being emotional about everything, life doesn't work that way.

He said remembering something.

Vi- Okay then, tell me How does Life work Ro?

Does it work by hiding things from your bestie?

Ro- Vi why don't u understand?

I don't feel like sharing things with u anymore.

Stop bothering me about it, it's tiring for me at this point of time!

Vi- What did u say ?

U don't feel like .. sharing ..

Ro- Yes that's what I said. So please stop pestering me with your messages and this concern.

Just Stop!

Vi- Ro! I ..

Ro- Leave Vi, just leave!

Vi- Ro..

Ro- LEAVE Virat!

He snapped at him which caused Virat to leave the room even if he didn't want to.

Rohit saw him leaving and closed the door as Virat had turned to talk again. Virat left to his room seeing the closed door on his face.

Almost whole day Virat was pacing in his room thinking what just happened and the conversation he had with Rohit.

Vi- Did Ro just tell me to leave his room? No no I may have heard something from wrong, ha galat suna Maine!

Ro can never do that to me!

What's wrong with me these days ? I am hearing stupid things!

Virat splashed his face with water again and again trying to forget whatever happened.

Vi- Did he tell me that he doesn't want to share anything with me?

He is avoiding me, but what did I do ?

Think Cheeks think! What did u do?

Did u say something, jo Ro ko hurt hua ho?

Yaar kya memory hai, yaad nahi aa raha aise kuch !

Ro ke sath reh ke.. memory loss ho raha hai Mujhe bhi!

Jassi- Bhai, kya kar rahe ho, we have team bonding session!

He said coming into the room.

Vi- I am coming Jas, ek call karna hai! Give me 10 mins.

He said.

Jassi- Bhai, jaldi aana! From morning u are in the room! U have to spend time with us abhi, it's almost night.

He said.

Vi- Ha kiddo I am coming ok!

Jassi went to the team room. Everyone was there, Rohit was talking to Rishabh and Yuzi.

Rishabh- Jas, Virat bhai kaha hai?

Jassi- He said he needs to make a call.

He said and sat beside Bhuvi.

Ro- So how much time he said will he require?

He asked after 5-10 mins.

Vi- Why, are u missing me Ro?

I m here!

He said and put his arm around Rohit's shoulder happily.

Ro- How can he behave normally with me after I said all this?

Is he okay?

Didn't he take the conversation seriously ?

He thought.

Ro- Oh pls, in your dreams!

He said taking off his arm.

Virat sat on the bean bag. And looked up to see Rohit looking for another place to sit.

Vi- U know if u don't want to show any problem between us, then sit down here!

He said in a low voice.

Rohit saw everyone engrossed in the movie. He sat beside Virat.

Ro- There is no problem between us.

He stated in a low voice.

Vi- Ya, sure! As u say.

He said sarcastically.

Ro- What's your problem?

He asked whispered irritated.

Vi- First, speak slowly if u can and if u can't then answer infinite questions by the team that why are u arguing with me!

Second, you are my problem but I will deal with that later.

So as ur questions are answered let me watch movie now!

Ro looked at Virat whose face showed no emotion that he felt bad due to whatever Rohit said to Virat.

Vi- Stop staring Ro, it's creepy!

He said looking at the screen.

Rohit averted his gaze immediately. He sighed at how stubborn can Virat be that he was not angry at him for saying all that things.

After sometime Virat felt a weight on his shoulder only to see Rohit slept with frown lines on his forehead.

Everyone left the room but Virat sat there as Rohit was sleeping holding his arm. On any other day he would have shouted in his ear to wake him up but today was not the day.

After a min or so, Virat heard slow sobs and wetness on his shoulder. He tilted and saw Rohit crying in his sleep.

Vi- What has happened? What's wrong with Rohit?

He hated when Rohit cried.

Virat slowly wiped off the tears due to which Rohit woke up. Rohit saw he was sleeping on Virat's shoulder. He noticed his eyes wet so he immediately got up and left to his room.

Virat saw that and couldn't stop him.

Vi- Bhagwanji kya hua hai, Kuch toh clue do! Kaise pata karu?

Ro rarely cries, Kuch toh bahot strong reason hai that he is pushing me away but what!

I have to find out asap.

But pehle test karna padhega that is he really pushing me away?

Rohit hurriedly went to his room and closed the door. He went to balcony and stood gazing the stars with tears still flowing from his eyes.

Ro- Why me?

His only thought as tears were not stopping and he was not able to control his emotions.

Next morning-

Virat was determined to find out why was his Ro pushing him away no matter what Rohit said to him.

Virat went into Rohit's room to find him sleeping. First he checked his forehead if he had fever because he had cried yesterday. But he was okay.

Virat took a glass of water and splashed on him. Rohit opened his eyes and saw Virat there.

He didn't say anything and went to the bathroom. Virat was expecting a comeback like 'Vi, kamine! Mere neend ke dushman! I will not talk to you!'

But all he got was silent treatment.

He sighed at that and sat on the bed waiting for Rohit to come out.

Ro- What are you still doing here?

Vi- What do u mean?

Ro- Your job is done, I woke up! U can go now.

Vi- I thought we could go to breakfast together.

He asked with hope.

Ro- I will come in sometime. U can go ahead!

Vi- Ro, why are u behaving like this?

He asked not liking this stupid formal conversation.

Ro- I am not behaving like anything Virat!

It's you who should grow up and accept the fact that I don't like ur company anymore!

Vi- How DARE you say that ?

Ro- Leave Virat, I don't wanna spoil my mood in the morning with this repetitive conversation with you!

Virat got up to leave now as he was really frustrated with Rohit's behaviour. He needed to calm himself somehow..

Ro- And one more thing, don't come in my room to wake me up from tomorrow!

It's not ur job anymore.

Virat slammed the door so hard to make Rohit flinch at his place! Rohit thought now that Virat will leave his obsession of bothering him.
